REJUVENATE YOUR SKIN WITH MD CONFIDENTIAL
MissRo here to tell you about a new skin care line on the market. I know what you're saying, but there's always room for another line. Each woman's skin care concerns are a little different and some times you try hundreds of products and never find the right one.
MD Confidential was developed by a Plastic Surgeon and a Dermatologist. I think most of the "Doctor" brands out there are developed primarily by Dermatologists, so that's the first thing that caught my attention with this line.
Dr. Daria Maldonado is a board-certified Dermatologist who practices in Monterey, CA, one of the most picturesque places (I think) in CA. She specializes in acne, skin discoloration, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and offers a variety of skin laser treatments. She has also appeared on numerous local television shows and has written several articles for newspapers Dr. Josh Korman is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon who has been nationally recognized for his use of lasers in plastic surgery and for body lift surgery. He has also been featured on 20/20, CNN, The New York Times, The San Jose Mercury News, Gentry Magazine, and The Metro.
Currently, there are three products in the line. Cleanse & Polish brightening cleanser, Get That Glow brightening Cream, and For Your Eyes Only illuminating eye cream. What's important to know about this line is A) they do not use Hydoquinone, and B) they combine herbal ingredients such as Arbutin (from the Bearberry plant) and extracts of white tea and camomile with clinically proven ingredients such as gluconic acid and retinyl palmitate.
So, if your issues are blotchiness and skin discoloration and you just want to get that glow back for your skin, then this is the line for you. Currently, you can only purchase this line through their website. To inquire about samples, email them at info@mdconfidential.com.
The most exciting part about this is, if you can tell us why you think you could use this line...YOU COULD WIN ALL THREE PRODUCTS!
What skin issues do you have? What Doctor brands do you use or have you used? AND how can your skin benefit from these products?

Let's see...I have acne, red cheeks with large pores, some discoloration from acne scarring, a nose that will never be matte, and undereye wrinkles that drive me crazy. I've only used DS brands so far but I've been researching some HE skin care. There are so many conflicting reviews out there that it's hard to make a decision on what to try.
My skin stinks! I just dislike it. My main skin concern is discoloration. I have a lot of acne scarring in my chin area and a lot of broken capillaries around my nose. Strangely enough the pores on my nose are normal, but they are huge on my cheeks and forehead. I tried a sample of a Dermadoctor cream once for acne and it was way too drying for my sensitive skin.My skin needs all the brightening it can get and I would much rather stick with a product that uses less chemical ingredients. It's so overwhelming to find a skin care routine and I would LOVE the opportunity to try these out.
My skin issues are hyperpigmentation, dark circles under my eyes, general dullness and blahness, and now as I get older my skin is sagging, oh the horror. I'm doing okay with wrinkling though, probably because I use tons of sunscreen and I have oily skin.
My skin issues are (in no particular order): *HUGE pores that are always congested no matter what I products I use or how many times I physically attack them.*An ever-present oil slick that covers the entire span of my face, which usually renders my makeup into a nice sticky goo within a few hours. *Moderate acne -blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, etc. I've seen several docs, tried numerous OTC and prescription topicals (Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, adapalene, Benzaclin, etc), and even took 3 rounds of Accutane (which made me temporarily insane) ... and I *still* have acne. *Redness and Discoloration. I don't know if it's noticeable because I'm fair-skinned or what, but my face sans foundation is a nice, inflamed pink color. On top of that, I have red scars leftover from pimples past and a cool, blue sheen below my eyes. How sexy do I sound? Haha. I bet the MD Confidential would definitely help me out with my skin issues. I mean, if it's going to exfoliate my sebum-clogged pores, slough off my zit scabs, brighten my scars, AND get rid of my black eyes ... what else could I ask for? Ok, well, I could still ask for a lot, but at least it will help me out a little :)
I've never been to the dermatologist nor have i used anything recommended from them. My mum is a strong believer of natural and organic products so one of her way of fixing my skin is to focus on my diet.. less fatty foods..I get large pores, uneven skin tone, acne (and their horrific blemishes), dark circles and super bags under my eye, pigmentation super dryness and oiliness on the nose during summer. but thank goodness for foundation to cover all those flaws.I've only ever tried TN Dickinson's witchazel (which i continue to use), Innoxa cleanser (does a terrible job), Freeman's clay mask (again dreadful, i just end up breaking out) and clean and clear cleanser (which is ok for occassional use, if i use it too often the effect minimises). As for the rest I just use makeup to cover up everything. I think eyegel would be a fab product, hopefully a replacement for concealer. My face is super dry and rather dull i've always been jealous of girls who has a nice shine.. as for the cleanser, hopefully I can meet one that works on me some day!

This line certainly sounds interesting! I think I could use this line because Dr. Maldonado's background sounds like a great fit for my skin needs! I've struggled with persistent acne, extremely oily skin, and hyperpigmentation/scarring issues for many years now. I'm worried that now that I've left the teen years, I may continue to have skin problems into my adult years. My skin is extremely sensitive while acne-prone, which is always a fun combination. As for OTC products, I've had moderate success with low concentration benzoyl peroxide gels, but they always leave my skin feeling dry. I've done better with Rx products- mostly Finacea (which is formulated for rosacea and older folks, so it is much better for sensitive skin) and Tazorac.I'm also interested in the eye cream. Although I'm younger, I've been thinking about being proactive with my skin and protecting the delicate skin around my eyes.
Occasional acne, discoloration, and redness are my biggest skin issues. I also have some fine lines under my eyes that I wish I could find an effective product for. This seems like a great line, I'd love to try it!
My skin is really acting out lately, but I am using a new cleanser, new moisturizer, and new makeup--I think it's all too much for my poor face to handle! Wouldn't it be interesting to survey a bunch of dermatologists to see what they use? I bet some of the answers would be really surprising!
What a great question! I would love to know the answer to this as well! I'm sure it would be very telling to hear what they use on their own skin.
I agree! I would love to know this! It would be far more persuasive to buy if they as professionals use them
My skin is a horror show! Although I seem to have it under control at the moment, the products I am using are way above my budget...I don't know what I will do when I run out! Right now I am using Murads skin line for acne and Kate Somerville's ExfoliKate (which I cannot say enough wonderful things about and it is definitely worth the price tag but coming up with the $$ is a whole other story!). I never had problems with my skin until I was about 30 yrs old...then all of a sudden my pores became HUGE, I noticed blackheads everywhere, cystic acne on my neck, jawline, lower cheeks, and regular acne on the rest of my face, I have little bumps I think they are called milia (?),...not to mention that my skin is somehow extremely oily yet dry at the same time, I have discoloration and broken blood vessels on my face, nasty dark undereye circles and the scarring that is appearing from the acne is heartbreaking. If I look at my daughters skin and look at mine, I want to cry. I used to have porcelain skin with some freckles and went through my teen years and 20's with beautiful skin. I really dont understand what happened and certainly cannot afford to go to a dermatologist to figure it out!I have tried every drug store brand there is, nothing worked. Before I was laid off from my job, I went to Sephora and picked up Murads acne trial kit, and Murads toner...and that worked better than anything else I tried but problems still existed. Once I heard about Exfolicate, I had to save up for it and gave it a try. Well what a difference! I added the Exfolicate to my regular regimen (Murads acne system) and I am happy to say that it has made a world of difference in my skin! The only problem is that the products are pricy...so I am hoping for a miracle :) I would very much like to try MD Confidential products on my skin. I feel confident in the fact that they were created by doctors who specialize in my types of skin issues and also by doctors who care about and understand the importance of having healthy skin and not just mass producing a product line full of chemicals to line thier pockets and make a buck. They have only formulated a few products as of yet - which sends out a clear message to me that these doctors are very careful about the ingredients of these products, thier effectiveness, and they are taking thier time to do it right! I hope to have the opportunity to try this new line of skin care and I hope it is as wonderful as it sounds like it will be ♥
"Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones..."
I have broken capillaries :-( I hate them would this cream work on them ?? if it does I really need it my red cheeks make me very sad :-(
I feel your pain--I have a bunch of broken capillaries around the edges of my nose. If I don't cover them up with concealer, I look like I have a cold all the time!
It's awful I have so many of them Moon if makeup hadn't been invented I wouldn't leave the house :-( I wish I just had them round my nose I look like a bloody farmers daughter it's so embarrassing :-( I wish I could afford laser surgery because I'd definitely do it !!!
Your right there's always room for a great new brand-My skin is on the dull side though helped lately by the vit c serum and both my skin and I have gone into stress induced shock today due to prescriptives closing down-"sob"!

I have acne. But not the Big Red babies.. I have the Under neither the skin break outs that iam pretty sure have been there since i was 13 .. Nothing has worked! I used proactiv for years and years and years.. and nothing! Everytime i see a Proactiv commercial and all the "HAPPY CUSTOMERS" i quickly change the channel! On my cheeks under my eyes i have huge pores and very un even skin!Having Combination skin is such a pain because you dont want to over moisterise the oily parts but or dry out the dry parts! I have not been able to find a happy medium! Plus now that iam 23 i want to start preparing for the wrinkles! Ive had grey hair since i was 15 and even though everbody said IMPOSSIBLE i had kidney stones at 17 so i just assume ill be getting wrinkles and a freakishly early age!
I love hearing when dermatologists come out with skincare lines. I loved proactiv and used it for years but since I started selling mark I use the That's Deep Cleanser, which I believe works just as well on my combination skin. I'm not sure if I want to venture out and try another skincare line because so often it wrecks havoc on my skin. I too would love to see a survey of what skincare lines dermatologists use and why they use them.
I love new skin care! It always feel like you are at the tip of the trend! top of the line!Lol here's my story why I desperately NEED IT!!!!11!11!My skin has been through alot in it's life.I grew up a child of the sun! Living in Key West Florida as a child. ever even knowing what sunscreen was! I spent every daylight moment of my life outdoors, swimming in salt water, staring up at the sun and loving every moment of it. Then to make matters worse when I was older we moved to Hawaii!!! Same story, I was smarter, I knew I needed sunscreen but as a white girl in hawaii I desperately wanted to be dark and accepted by the locals! It worked I had tons of friends but at severe exposure to my skin.I have suffered burns, continuous assault of salt water. I was an only child And I never really talked with my mom about skin care and girly stuff like that??Soon as puberty hit I had the worst acne ALL over, my body, my face EVERYWHERE. This is an issue I still struggle with today. It's an ongoing battle though it;s no where NEAR as bad as it was thoughout high school. This has left my face with Sun Damage, Acne Scars, Oilyness, some dry patches, Itchy, Red, Inflamed.Flash Forward to today. I am smarter. Yes everyone know I LOVE to tan. All the more reason I need to really take care of my skin. I don't tan my face, and I use anti aging products already at the age of 23.My face has MANY wrinkles. And I am genuinely classified as a wrinkle phobe. And have an accute fear of getting old. Yet every night I go through the torture of examining my face in the mirror and counting the wrinkles. The newest addition, crows feet. I have always been proud of not having wrinkles around my eyes yet, well there goes that!!!I even have pinguecula on my eye (google it it's scary) to further proove the amount of UV damage my skin has gone though as a child(dont worry I wear my goggles when tanning so it's not grom that) I am however learning how to take better care of my skin and apply makeup that wont clog pores and remove my makeup every night!! Though im still guilty of sleeping in mascara :(]I have SPENT sooooo much money on skin care products to keep my skin from wearing even more!Mabey I'll get lucky ;)Cheers to good skin!
Tan is Love
I have uber dark circles and really dark shadows at the corners of my mouth. :(
My skin isn't too shabby, so I'm pretty thankful for that. However, it's definitely not flawless! I do break out around that time of the month. I have large pores, occasional pimples, blackheads, and mild discoloration. I've given up on trying to even out my skin tone and just end up putting makeup on to cover it. However, I do have some discoloration in the crooks of my arm on the other side of my elbows because of my eczema.
I have acne scars, redness, mostly oily and some dry areas all the time (no balance), skin pigmentation from acne, and uneven skin tone. I still get acne too, although it's not as bad as it used to be. I can't afford department store priced items much less Doctor products. They are definitely a pipe dream because I'd love to try them but economics keeps me from spending the money. I'm desperate to find something to balance my skin so it's not battling between dry and oily. The redness is very frustrating and the only thing that has helped some is sunscreen usage. I'd love to improve the texture and appearance of old scarring and pores. These products would be more than worth trying.
My skin is horrible! someone help me out !
This is kind of sad, but I really don't have a good skin care regiment. I just stopped using ProActiv, and now I'm just using some random cleanser I bought at the drugstore and a moisturizer that I don't really like. I also use eye cream when I remember...I know, it's bad.My skin is in pretty bad condition. I still get some adult acne. I have terrible scars left from acne from whenever I was younger. I hate that I have darker patches on my cheeks from acne scarring. I also have redness around my nose. I'm trying to get into a skin care regiment just to prevent wrinkles and aging in general. I just really don't know where to start.
My skin issues are major dark circles from working at night (I am at work right now) and dark blotches on the sides of my cheeks which are possibly from driving even though I use sunscreen everyday. I also have rosacea which adds redness around my nose and on my cheeks and on my nose. I use Dr. Perricone's Cleanser everyday and his firming moisturizer (Face firming activator) on day's when my boyfriend is not there to tell me that my face smells like a fish. I use Dr. Brandt's microdermabrasion every few days to exfoliate, I really do feel that it works the best for me. I used Murad's Perfecting Day Cream for brigthening before they changed the formula (it no longer contains the brightness it once had). I used this on brides when I did makeovers it really brightened the face. I finally found the love of my life and when we talk about weddings all I can think about is how I am way too old to be looking like a bright blushing bride. I think these products would help to bring some of the brightness back. I would love to try the brightening cream to see if it could help even out my skin tone and brighten up my dull skin and the illuminating eye cream would be great if it could at least distract people from the fact that I work the overnight shift and sleep during the day. I've never tried a brighteing cleanser and wonder if some of the brightness stays on the face after you rinse it away but have been looking into paying more attention to getting what you want out of products in a whole system rather than only individual products.
The illuminating eye cream sounds interesting. My biggest problem are dark undereye circles, whice are partly because of my sleeping habits, but more they are genetic in my family, so anything that may help them sounds good to me. I must say I'm pretty lucky that the rest of my skin is pretty good. Some pores over the nose and a few very small breakouts occasionally are about all I have to deal with.
A dermotoligist and a plastic surgon together...sounds like heaven bottled up just for me. :)I haven't used any doctor brand because I usually can't afford them. I looked at the products they have here and "ooo la la" it really does sound like heaven. I don't think I could pick just one.Although I spend a LOT of time trying to help my skin, it never seems to get better. Blotchiness...check. Bown spots...of course. Acne...always. Ugly under eye circles...why won't you just go away!If there is a bad genes tree (which would be standing right next to the ugly tree) than I really hit every branch on the way down. lol.

Very interesting review !!!
Cool sweepstakes! I visited the website and that models' smooth perfect toned skin looks amazing! I am a fan of whatever can give my combination skin that look. I have dry skin with mostly hormonal breakouts nothing serious. Lately I noticed acne concentrated on my t-zone so I've been using murad's clarifying cleanser, my skin does feel clean after I use this but it really isn't dealing with my existing acne. Murad has worked for my brother's extreme acne and oilyness but I'm afraid it isn't working for my type of skin. Around my eyes aren't wrinkled or anything but I definately have the "college student tired undereye" look going on.I think Md confidential could work because of the natural skin clearing ingredients and the tried and tested ones.
;) Gloss & Gum <3
I have acne prone dry skin with some broken capillaries. Ugh. I haven't tried any MD products and I don't think I will at this point. I have a routine that works for me now and I am always afraid to stray! I just wish one day I would have skin that doesn't break out, would be a first since I was 13.
Meg sent me "GET THAT" GLOW from MD confidential and I love it but after reading all of this makes me loving it even more I have acne and blemishes my skin is far from good and I am so Glad I have the opportunity to try somthing from them...I love the texture of the cream it's shimery ( no glitters at all) and I like the packaging it looks so "professional"Thank you Megsmakeup.com
