MEGSMAKEUP.COM'S LABOR DAY WEEKEND IS OVER! WE'RE BACK TO LABOR FOR YOU!
Meg here! I wish you all could have come! Next year we are going to find a new amazing place and invite you all! This year's get together was "simply mahvelous!"
Thanks to Megken we got some amazing clips to go up (like 9 hours worth of tape to go through and edit-we're working on it!) 
All of the writers that went are even more fabulous in real life then they are on the site! I know, I didn't think that could be possible either-but it is. We all got on like a house on fire and came up with some really great new ideas for you ladies.
Goddess Granny is a hoot and a half and loosened everyone up from the start! Besides being a real-life pin-up doll she brought the party everywhere we went! Sweetassgal is really really sweet. Her ass looks great but her sweet ways just seeps into her generous heart. She was always doing nice things for everyone else. She even brought gifts for everyone. Stylemama had her very frst trip away from her kids and husband-ALONE! At first, she was a bit guilt ridden. I think she found a weekend alone for Mom was great for Dawn. I am not sure when this hit her? Maybe when she hopped out of the car to join Missro and Eleni in a parking lot dance party to "I Like Big Butts." A parking lot dance party of 3. I think that was the night security was called on us.
The biggest transformation? Hello miss Jeanasina! First of all, her profile picture on here does her zero justice.We took some new ones so she can change it. She is 62 and looks 42. Let's just say, by the end of the trip she was wearing a "magic hat" and having a little fun with the car's OnStar system.
We are going back to reviews but we will be bringing you clips from our trip and letting you in on some cool places we visited and some new products we found! It was really a blast and I hope to see your smiling face next year. I can't wait for you to see the clips!

Sounds like a terrific time was had by all! I can only imagine how kick-ass it would be partying with you all. :)Unfortunately one of our kitties got sick on Friday, and after a run out to the vet we decided to cancel our weekend plans to stay at home and keep an eye on him. He's better now, but we didn't want to take any chances!
I just started on here and I missed you!! I was hoping for new blog posts all day! I love to read what you have to say. I'm glad you had a great trip. I had a day off from school and work. (I work and go to school full time so it can be a handful. So, I enjoyed the day off with my husband!!)

OMG FUN that's what you guys look like!..but sadness guys I had withdrawals all weekend I was checking and double checking to make sure there wasn't a mid-trip post but there wasn't..I didn't even go surfing(only cuz the beach was to busy down here..hehe). Good to have you guys back!

It's so touching that everyone had megsmakeup.com withdrawals during the weekend!We had an amazing time that included slumber parties, a limo, champagne, oysters, wine tasting, parking lot dancing, pink outfits and rooms with chandeliers.Can't wait to share the videos!

I am pouting: it was damned HARD not waking up to the chatter and laughter aftre a few days of nothing but FUN Darlin' girls!!!Seriously: you have NO earthly idea how incredible what we shared really was and I promise it will keep y'all entertained for DAYS to come,LOL! We were like old friends from "hello" and honestly,I enjoyed every single one of these incredible ladies as individuals and for the commonalites that brought us together...I am truly fortunate to have them in my life and proud to call them my friends.:)And Megken??? I know you are dying to know: MUCH more adorable in person and a truly kind,loving,and wonderful guy...he suffered GREATLY over the weekend at our hands and just kept comin' back for more,LOL!!!I miss y'all bunches...

I honestly am at a loss for words at how blessed and truly grateful I feel to have met all of these amazing women. The entire weekend was a blur of makeup talk, women's issues, life lessons, wisdom to be shared, hysterical laughter to be had and just a TON of love shared all around.Each and every one touched my heart is such a special way. Meg is an absolute living doll! Generous in heart and spirit and so gracious to everyone around her. Goddess Granny...no one has invented a word yet that could encompass her bigger than life personality! Stylemama...you want to party with this girl on a Saturday night and meet her for pedi's and girl talk on a Wednesday afternoon. Jeanasina....she's a shining light of smiles and sweet spirit. Missro...HOLY cow this is one brilliant and drop dead gorgeous woman. Eleni...her gorgeous sense of style and biting sharp humor kept us laughing and guessing ALL weekend. Megken...you are a gentleman's soul beneath a razor sharp wit. I am the better for having a little bit of each of you in my life.I truly loved you all and am happy to call each of you friend.

Ooooohhhhh ladies of Megville! I am still reeling and trying to figure out if the last four days of my life was a dream or a reality! HOLY PINK EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! I gotta tell you - I have never had four days in my life like the ones I just experienced with some of the best Megettes on the planet! Meg is even more fun IN PERSON than her website is (as if that is even possible)!!! 1-800-ADORABLE-FACTOR up the kazoo! Stylemama - if you look at these photos and you see her positively radiant smile - that's a reflection of the beauty inside of her which comes out 24/7!!!! I learned first hand why Stylepapa loves her as much as he does! Sweetassgal has a heart as big as the sky and her loving giving nature is like a touch of sunshine warmth with a large dose of love in it at the same time!!! She knows how to really work a sexy ass shoe besides, let me tell you!!!! Her confidence and stunning smile just reels you right in! Goddess Granny...HOLY FIRECRACKER! She is like Sophia Loren with a VAVOOM factor off the charts!!!! She's like Mae West the way she commands an audience and she knows her makeup!!!! She will rock your world if you ever get to meet her! MissRo...ZZ top has a song with a line that goes "She's got legs and she knows how to use them..." This woman turns heads like you wouldn't believe! She could hold her own at any party she attends and would most likely be the person everybody wants to meet and get to know! Eleni...is mysterious, flirty, exotic, and oh SO exciting!!! She's delightful, quick with her wit and has a sparkle that you want to capture and put in a bottle so you can have a little of her yourself! Our cameraman, Ken is a very quiet, behind the scenes guy who gives nothing away about himself. He gathers information from women with ease. He has a way of accessing their inner thoughts and secrets and getting them to tell them all on camera! He's gentle and un-assuming and has a way about him that makes women want to say something like "Would it be ok if I stroked your beard?" He's the quiet guy across a crowded room that you want to go and sit by and hopefully end up snuggling!This weekend was a PINK PARTY event that 8 people shared and we blew the roof off the Madonna Inn! They will never forget us I'm sure! I am still re-living every moment of this trip and am so thankful I was there to experience all of it! Meeting the girls and Meg gave us an even stronger bond and when the girls write from now on...I will hear all of their distinctive voices in my head which will make reading their reviews all the more fun! Thank you all for amazing pink memories!

You just can't imagine how wonderful these women are. They are as intelligent as they are beautiful. I am so blessed to have these women in my life. Each woman was just as I expected her to be but somehow even more amazing in person. Goddess Granny, holy crap, you've never met a grandma like her. She is so hot, seriously! Her kick ass approach to life has totally inspired me to take better care of myself. Eleni, this is one hilarious woman. I doubt you could find a more loyal friend than her. The best part, you always know where you stand with her and the girl has such beauty and style. Sweetassgal, is very loving and extremely thoughtful. She's southern, beautiful and the girl can cook! Talk about smart too, the girl's got it going on. Robin, knows as much about having a great time as she does about getting the job done. She is beautiful and funny with an amazing quiet strength. Jean, oh Jean, this is a woman with many, many layers. She is sincere, hilarious, and the most loving woman on the planet. She has this young attitude that is only matched by her stunning, young appearance, amazing. Meg, is like no one else, you just can't imagine how incredible she is. Because of her we were all brought together. It takes someone really special to pull of something like this. She's the kind of woman you want in your corner. She's generous and so hilarious. She's gorgeous and honest and one of the hardest working women I've ever met. Ever. Thank you Meg, for everything. Of course, we can't forget Ken. Ken was so great to each one of us. He's a really good man, the kind of guy you want around when you need one the most. Thank you again Ken. I am so touched by all of the comments left by everyone today, you women blow my mind.
Meg, I totally agree--I almost didn't recognize Jeanasina in the pictures! All of you are smokin' hot ladies, that's for sure. Your trip sounds absolutely amazing, and you gals look like you're genuinely having a good time--hopefully I'll get to go next year!My Labor Day weekend was great but busy. I went to the most amazing Mediterranean restaurant, went shopping (of course, that included makeup shopping), got some new running shoes, visited my grandparents, went for a run (ugh, it was pouring rain!). Why can't every weekend be a three day weekend?!

I spent Labor Day thinking about my comrads having a great time at the Madonna. Luckily the weather was nice here, there was a huge hot air balloon fest and the most amazing art fair. Luckily I got to see the balloons as they were in the air. I am still contaigous from the cellulitis, it returned again for the third time, so I couldn't go anywhere. Next year Megettes, Gigi, Joan and I will be there to join all of you. Let me tell you, then you all will know what a party is! Great pictures. All those creams, lotions and gels work beautifully!
