SWEETASSGAL GETS A HAIR MAKEOVER!

As promised Sweetassgal took the big plunge on Saturday and got a complete hair makeover at the Elizabeth David Salon in San Francisco from a wonderful stylist and proudly my cousin...Troy Payne. Troy, along with his partner Joselyn Podesto have opened a salon in the Union Square neighborhood that makes you feel like you can relax and be comfortable while still experiencing the highest quality of hair knowledge and technique in the city. There is an air of unpretentious confidence that permeates the air as the delicious sounds of the city rise up to meet you on the fourth floor of a lovely old San Francisco building. It's warm, airy, cozy and a sheer delight to experience a hair transformation here. So much so that my sojourn ended with happy tears in the arms of my cousin. I was reborn and I absolutely love my new cut and color. I can still wear it in my natural curl and rock the wild look or wear it sleek and sophisticated when I'm in the mood. Thank you Troy...I couldn't tell you that enough.
Matching the euphoria I was experiencing from my day in the city was the feeling I got when I came home to find a new package from Meg. Quelle surprise because I was NOT expecting anything before The Madonna Inn this Friday! Let's just say there will be a lot of great reviews coming up soon!
We have a great "hairpiece" coming up tomorrow but how amazing does our Sweetassgal look? It is so true-there is nothing like a fabulous hair make-over! Who else out there has really gone for it and taken the hair plunge! Waist length to pixie? Who has done it?! SHARE IT! I know I want to sport the Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby cut but I need some encouragement! I'm dying for a pixie!-Meg

sweetassgal, I love your hair cut! lt is so sleek and modern. But, I love your curls too. I am glad that you were able to get some versatility with your hair style so for those days that you don't want to spend the time straightening, you can rock the curls. :)
wow i love the makeover! you look so much more sophisticated and lovely :)
Some years ago I was walking past my hairdresser and decided to book in for a cut - she had just had a cancellation and so could fit me i there and then. I decided to cut my waist length hair to a length of about 1 inch all over. It took a long time to convince her, as she knew this was a spur of the moment decsionn, but she did it and I was thrilled with the result. I was sitting in my lounge room that evening and my brother walked behind me and mouthed to our mother 'who's that'? She laughed and suggested he introduce himself - he was stunned when he realised it was me! I had a few people who reacted with shock but most people loved the new look and 20 years later I have never had long hair again.
you look like great on the second picture the straight hair fit you very well !!!
Diamond are Girl Best Friend !!!
OH MAMA!!! That picture does your new cut no justice at all! I would just like to say! Angie's hair looks FAB culry! the straight hair is eh, but when its curly it draws the attention to the structure of her face and draws attention to her natural beauty! I love you mama!

What a change.. great new look though. I myself am thinking of getting a pixie cut, but not too sure if I'm bold enough. I used to have hair up to my bum, but I cut it into a bob. Now I'm not too sure if I can go any longer without long hair =( I would love to see the look on you though...:::Breezy Bits:::..Cheers
looking gorgeous !!!!
Girl, you look FABULOUS!!!!
I miss my hair being long so much its really ridiculous!!! argh! GROW HAIR GROW!!!!

I have curly hair like your before photo and have been thinking about getting it cut, if I knew it would come out like yours, I would definitely do it.
Very chic, and it makes you look soooo young. Congratulations!

Reading the green reviews, I re-read you post about the hair make-over, I agree your new style is trendy. How is it going now after several weeks? Just last week I went ahead and had five inches cut off my long, layered cut, naturally wavy. Now I have a trendy, just above shoulder length cut, very long bangs with piles of razor cut layers, much thinner than in my current profile pic. It is super stylish, no more flat iron needed, just mousse, (btw, the mousse today is great, actually makes hair shiny) I use pantene, I'll get a new pic soon. I just kept thinking for weeks and weeks that this long, layered, heavy, thick hairdo is so common, everyone has long layers, I like to change my look every couple of years AT LEAST. I dont agree that meg should get a pixie, or anyone over 20. Men dont like it. SAG I think your hair is definately more up to date with the length now , how do you like it now?
This is great! I love make-over stories. But I must say you look beautiful in both of the pictures (even though it's practically only the back of your head in the one pic. the back counts also!) You look very stylish and confident. Good for you!
i really love it! the wavy look was nice too, but the other looks more suitable for your age- more managed and put together.
Nice!
awesome haircut
WoW! Big change... Liked it both before and after...
I love the new look!!!!!
