NEW! GARNIER FRUCTIS FORTIFYING TRIPLE NUTRITION FOR DRY TO OVER--DRIED OR DAMAGED HAIR!
Jeanasina here...Yesterday I was in Walgreens to pick up a prescription when suddenly without warning, my eye drifted over to an end cap where there was a NEW display for Garnier Fructis products! Well...being the interested party that I always am, I thought that I should at least acknowledge the new display by going over and smelling the new products! One thing I know about Garnier Fructis is that their products smell SO GOOD! So I picked up the one remaining Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo on this display and had myself a long sense inducing inhalation of it! Have you ever noticed that Walgreens has these HUGE mirrors up high on the walls so that they can watch people at all times! I told myself that I probably should at least look interested in the product, as well as getting my daily free intoxicating fragrance fix! So, I read about the infusion of olive, avocado & shea ingredients and thought to myself, WOW...these are heavy duty good things! I thought, why not try it...I'm not working now and perhaps finding a cheaper hair product line wouldn't be a bad idea! Right?? Well, then I noticed the Triple Nutrition Conditioner and again, after smelling it with all my might, I thought I'll get this too and give it a real test! On my way to the cashier I passed the actual shelves where the entire line of Garnier Fructis was displayed, and I saw, yet a third product!!...Triple Nutrition Three Minute Undo! Oh geeze...I should have brought a backpack!
I think the entire subliminal draw and interest I was having to Garnier Fructis right now is also because I watched the first episode of Project Runway (I LOVE this show!!!!) and each time Heidi Klum talked about prizes she always mentioned Garnier Fructis and I can practically hear her pronunciation of the word “Fructis” in my head! She has to say that product line name like a billion times an episode because after all Garnier is the official haircare sponsor of the new season of Project Runway! If you go on the Garnier Facebook website you can see how the stylists actually use this line of products on the runway models!

Even though I had a billion chores to attend to, after I got home from the drugstore my first priority was to wash my hair of course! I did bring home the shampoo and conditioner and will pick up the third product (3 Minute Undo – Dryness Reversal Treatment) next time I visit my Walgreens. Oh...let me tell you about the price! This is delightful! Right now at Walgreens these products were on sale! The Triple Nutrition shampoo was $3.34, the Conditioner was $3.33! And...when I checked out I got a coupon for purchasing two Garnier products that gives me $2.00 OFF on anything next time I come into the store and it doesn't expire until 9/7th! I'm totally using it on the 3 Minute Undo! Come on ladies...this is crazy! Like this stuff really is going to work and less than $5.00 each!!! That's insanity talking!
Well, here's the deal...I rather liked it! It left my hair soft, smelling heavenly and it wasn't dry! I already use the Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk so when I put it all together my results were actually pretty impressive! The biggest thing I noticed was that my hair was FLUFFY! I haven't had my hair look fluffy in forever so this was a total treat to me! When I got up the next morning, my hair still had body (fluff) and I can't wait to try it again! I liked this ladies and I think some of you might like it too! It certainly is affordable to at least try it! In the meantime I'm going to constantly be prancing around the house with my fluffy hair saying “Is there anyone here who wants to smell my hair again today?”

OoOOo. I love Garnier, Their products are lovely, scents are intoxicating, and ridiculously cheap- im all about the inexpensive hair care I was actually on my way to the store to get some hair wax- oh my- now I will have to pick some up because I am indeed getting low on my shampoo. Great review- BTW project Runways is AWESOME! LOve it! makes me want to get in front of my sewing machine every time I watch it!
I like Garnier Fructis (and I like listening to Heidi say it). I've used it for years and have always been satisfied with it. You really can't beat the price either. I'm really excited about this new branch on the Fructis tree. It sounds great. I bet the conditioner is the best! I want to order Jessicurl soooo bad but a. I can't afford it right this minute (paying for textbooks sucks!) and b. it won't get here for like another two weeks and I'm out of shampoo and conditioner right now! So I'm going to get some of this tomorrow and soothe the little want monster in my chest that's currently demanding hair products.Oh, and Jeanasina, I'll be just like you in my ailse tomorrow! Taking deep, blissful inhales and getting odd looks...
I personally did not care much for this product. My hair was in terrible shape, but using the following three products and time have given me very healthy hair. I find that Avon's Planet Spa Conditioning Seaweed Mask ($4.50), Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner ($6.19) and any Lush product have helped me better. Lush sounds expensive, but their products work and last a long time.

Oh how I love Avon's Planet Spa Olive Oil mask. I haven't tried the Seaweed one but I'll keep an eye out, thanks for the rec!Garnier Fructis does smell divine, but it always leaves me with a lot of buildup.
hmm.. not sure if I really want to try this or not. I always feel like Drugstore hair products leave my hair worse than better. So probably wont be trying this. :/
I love Garnier! It's honestly the best product I've used on my hair and I've tried some really expensive high end stuff. In the end I always go back to Garnier products! And I am complimented on the shine and texture of my hair quite frequently :)

seriously you really you made me want to get it "When I got up the next morning, my hair still had body" is the reason why !!!!! my hair is so thin that teh day I watch it it's fine but the day after........... it's so flat you can almost see my ears thought the hair I know...SAD looool ( my ears are normal btw )$3.33 for hair care is way cheaper than in France I pay somthing like 5 euro for a conditioner in France =s

I always loved Fructis and I've heard so many bad things about the brand lately that it's really good to see someone agreeing with me lol I've been drying to try this line out and since you liked it so much I'm really convinced about it now :)

The old version didnt aggree with my hair(made it a bit limp)but Ill give the reformulated version a go-I do aggree it smells amazing.Sharond the seaweed mask is so going in my new avon order-Ive always wondered how it worked-I use a seavite seaweed shower gel and body loton which I love so Ill definately be ordering this,might have to order the olive mask too-that always my problem ordering from avon-I just cant keep my list small.

i always get the garnier fructis shampoos they smell lush!!!! my hair always turn out silky smooth and shiny when i use it... (unlike pantene on the other hand...)But at the same time I can't live without head and shoulders either... every other shampoo seems to be drying my scalp :(

I HATE the Fructis line with a passion. I tried their line a few years ago, because it smelled divine and I liked the name (how could anyone not like the name?). The thing was no shampoo before or after have ever caused so much trouble with my hair. My scalp broke out real bad in seborrhoea, I shed hair like crazy and on top of that the conditioner really didn't help for the two days in between washes that I've always kept. Already waking up on the second day, my hair had lost all silkiness just like that. And on top of that, I found the lid thing to have sharp edges and cut my fingers. So, a throughly bad experience.Oh, and did I mention their awful commercial? Tested in their own labs etc. How could I ever trust people claiming to have thoroughly tested their own products to create a super shampoo and then that same shampoo gives me that reaction? Then clearly, they have not tested it carefully enough. And it is not as if I am one of those people who are super sensitive or allergic to most things. I just have a rather mild case of sebboreah to battle that other brands of shampoos mainly turn into dandruff, if not careful. But here we talked serious caking, itching, sticky piles of the stuff. Yuck!Of course, a lot of things might have changed with their formula since then. But honestly, I will never, ever even smell another of their bottles!
Yeah Garnier stuff is nice and it makes my hair feel lovely and they smell lovely and all BUT for my sensitive skin all that fragrance is WAY too much and i end up all red, blotchy and itchy. Not a good look! :(
Garnier Fructis just does not have enough oomph for me. True true it smells good, but products like that are a dime a dozen. It doesn't give me the results you've had Jeanasina, rather flat and with a lot of build up. The Triple Nutrition Conditioner sounds great and maybe some of that deep conditioning my hair needs. Is820 did you know Head and Shoulders was originally a car wax company? I can never get that out of my head when I see it sitting in someone's shower.

All though I love the scents of the Garnier line, I've never actually found a product that made a noticable difference in my hair. That's so dissapointing to me because the line is so affordable!
This seems like a pretty good product. My hair can be very dry at times. I agree with the other readers these products have the best smells.
I used to use their shampoo and conditioner all the time, I had completely forgot about them if I wasn't avoiding chemicals I would buy them again !!!
Has anybody else tried the Herbal Essence Toussle Me Softly line- LOVE IT. I haven't had luck with Garnier in the past from their hair products to their skincare products but I would mind trying the deep conditioner.
I think Garnier has the BEST comercials!!!!!!! I used to use the color treated shampoo//cond and it wasnt enough for my over high lighted hair.. but i bet a deep conditioner would work well!!
i love the scent of these products in the bottle and immediately after washing/conditioning but after a couple of hours (sans styling products) my whole family noticed the scent went away and even started to smell funky. maybe we've all got weird chemistry but since we tend to not wear fragrance i like the yummy smell of shampoo's etc to stick around. haven't tried this particular formula but not really uber inclined to retry. wish it had worked - sounds great and i'm allergic to pantene.
It sounds like a love it or hate it product. I think I'll stick with what I know works well for me.
I totally know what you mean about Garnier stuff smelling good. I have some of their hairspray and I think it smells awesome :P
I used the Garnier Fructis line for a few years and really liked it until I got a bottle of conditioner (I want to say it was the Long and Strong variety, but I could be wrong) that was really off. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it smelled rotten. I returned it and wrote to the company, and I can't bring myself to enjoy their products anymore. Eek! My hair behaves best when I keep it on its toes. Right now I'm switching back and forth between Aussie and Lush products. Neither works amazingly for me when used day after day, but going back and forth seems to clarify my hair and keep it happier.
Well, I like the fragrance of Garnier Fructis out of the bottle, and of course the price ... but the results aren't what I hoped for. I'm still hooked on Jessicurl. Nothing takes care of my curly hair like Jessicurl. I've recently tried some Deva Curl on a friend's advice - and that did not impress me either.

I picked up their Anti-Humidity Hairspray a couple days ago at my local drugstore, but probably was too blind to notice this new line they came out with!I have to give it a try, instantly - and especially for that price, plus if it really seems to work;-). I'm sold!

believe it or not i've never used garnier products. I think its cuz they're so cheap that I never thought they would ever really word, kind of like Herbal esences (which did not work at ALL) but I'll make sure I'll give it a try!!!
This sounds like the perfect hair line that I have been looking for, but I wonder if it is will weigh my hair down? I have super fine hair, dry and it needs some lovin', more lovin' then my natures gate shampoo is giving me. For that sale price I am going to go out and get it, I find in the winter my hair gets super dry and well winter will be here soon enough right?! lol
I love love love Garnier Fructis products. They smell SO good, and the conditioners make my hair feel so soft! I've been using Treseme and Pantene as my everyday work hair stuff mostly, but I think I'll give this a try.

Well...I'm on a fence about this line: husband Mike LOVES anything they make (and that I toss in his shower,LOL!) mostly because of the smell I think?He goes through gallons of shampoo so I don't indulge him often with the pricey stuff as his hair is "easy" to care for. :)Anything I have tried has been drying to my hair except the "Brilliantine Shine serum" which I LOVE! Read about it in an article by Sally Hershberger,stylist to the stars and she loves it as well...it's really great!
I have pretty damaged hair... Sorry hair... I'll take better care of you when I'm 50 I promise... so stick around.haha but i have not really tried alot of the garneir products... And im toying with the idea of growing out my hair again... so mabey i should get it in better shape before I do.

I used to use garnier bit like some of the other girls on here I quit when I decided to go with natural products.
I wish i could use it but...I've decided to go with the no sulfate/no silicone method of hair care! and i'm sure they have silicones and sulfates based on their previous products. even when i used the no sulfates shampoo by loreal i was dismayed bc they had silicones in them ;(I'm glad you guys are liking it and maybe one day (if i ever fall off the wagon) i'll give it a try again :)
i used to love the regular frutis products and then after a while, my hair felt dry and stripped w/ both the shampoo and conditioner. i'd try this version only if i got a free sample or something. seems like i cant use any product for too long on my hair or i have to develop some sort of rotation.
Haha, I like the way Fructic smells as well. I tend to chop and change my haircare branding according to how my hair is behaving. It tends to become more oily in the Summer months and drier in the Wintery months.Now we're heading in to Summer, I may have to cut back on the conditioning I think and concentrate on the oil removal and dry shampoo - oh and looking after the ends with split end treatments of course, my lengths can still get dry despite the roots being oily.I've found brushing my hair can help a lot by transporting some of the oil from the crown of my head to the lengths.
I use Garnier shampoos and conditioners with Color Shield, and they smell so good! Their leave in conditioner works great too.
I will have to try this! My hair is always fluffy! I hope this is what Ive been dreaming of!!

i love Garnier Fructis, oh the smell!!! i love the smooth and sleek shampoo and conditioner-havent used it in ages actually! this post just reminded me of how good it was! I heard not to use garnier fructis on hair that you are going to dye-as it leaves a coating on your hair and stops the dye from taking as well (not sure how true this is or if its the case with all shampoos but i did hear it from a hairdresser)
Garnier has some great smelling products, don't they!! I have always been a big fan of their stuff. While their products for dry hair wouldn't suit my hair personally, their shampoos for normal/oily hair really worked wonders on my scalp. They're one of the few shampoos that I have had success with, actually!
I really like Garnier. I'm using their regular line of products right now..I have the shampoo and conditioner in sleek, I think. They're pretty good. I absolutely love the way they smell! I saw these are Target the other day and thought about picking them up, then thought that my boyfriend would have a conniption if I added yet another shampoo/conditioner set in the shower. When I'm running low on something I definitely would like to check these out. I was worried about them being too heavy on my hair, but you pretty much cured my fears :P
So far I've hated everything I've ever tried from Garnier (no offence intened!). No matter what, it always seems to make my hair/skin worse, and whenever I check their ingredients they always contain something bad.
i agree that they have the best smelling products in the drug stores. but my hair is quite oily so i cannot use these items. I do like L"oreal's sulfate free line - I use hair mask with Rosemary and Mint, the scent is soooo relaxing :) and it makes my hair more manageable
I hate to admit it, but I guess I'm kind of a shampoo snob. I have very long, very fine and delicate hair. I am always hoping that investing in the best hair care possible will allow me to keep the length and minimize damage. This was a great review though, and you've definitely tempted me....

So I went out and bought this system today, the review intrigued me. I got all 3 pieces, all were on sale for 2/$7 and with $2 register cash off your next purchase. Great deal! So I just took a shower and used the shampoo and 3 minute hair revival...and OMG! My hair has been feeling like straw lately and it doesn't right after this shower! It feels a bit thicker too, I have fine hair and it just feels a bit healthier. I am so glad I read this review and tried these out, they will be a staple in the winter!
I was given a Garnier Fructis Shampoo and I love it! The smell, the way my hair feels after the wash, and the amazing shine it gives my hair!

I have used the triple moisture shampoo and conditioner just once because the shampoo really stripped my hair and left it feeling all residuey. My hair was definately not missing this I am sticking with my Ion and Curls.
