KUMAARA LUMINIZING EYE TREATMENT!

Sharond here! I grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota. In the 1900’s through 1970’s, and even now, farm chemicals were everywhere and considered safe causing no problems to humans or animals. We would spray for flies, run our hands through bags of fertilizer or insecticide while spreading it evenly in the spreader and didn’t give it a second thought. A couple of great part time job for youth was being the flagger for the crop dusters or roaging corn, both meaning we were standing in clouds of farm chemicals. Needless to say, cancer, Lou Gehrigs, MS and other diseases has ravaged every family in our community. I moved away as soon as I graduated from high school, however all five of the children in our family did end up with lungs that are damaged, even though none ever smoked.
Because of my knowledge and fear of chemicals and seeing first hand how cruel and silent they can be, looking for products that are as free of chemicals and not tested on animals are very important to me. Recently I was introduced to a brand I had never heard of, Kumaara. I read everything on their website which explains that transformative power of Kumaara comes from a unique marriage of nature and science. Their family of skincare formulas binds the beautifying effects of nature’s botanicals and matches them with the power of scientific innovation. 15 such components are in Kumaara products and are credited for creating a youthful glow. These products are Organic berries, hibiscus seed extract, Dermaxyl, Matrixyl 3000, red seaweed extract, Actiflow, Everseryl and Syn-Ake to name a few. So far everything looked good to me. The site also explains what each of these ingredients are known to correct. The idea of my skin being protected from free radicals, the texture, density, firmness and elasticity improved creating skin that looks and feels years younger was exactly what I was looking for and needed.
I tested the Kumaara Luminizing Eye Treatment. The product comes in a stunning black and gold half ounce jar filled with a luscious thick white cream that did not have much of a scent. Kumaara claims this product will brighten and de-puff delicate under-eye skin. Actiflow and Haloxyl reduce under-eye circles while Eyerseryl fights puffiness. Iridescent luminizers dramatically illuminates the eye area with a youthful glow and soothes irritation and calms the skin.
The directions tell you to put a small amount of this treatment under the eye. Kumaara recommends a 60 day trial to see the full benefit of their eye brightening system. I noticed a significant difference in less than one week. I met a friend today for lunch and the first thing out of her mouth was “What concealer are you using?” I told her that I wasn’t wearing any and filled her in on this wonderful new eye treatment. I have been following the directions that came with the product which recommends this is for under the eye only, not above. You should use your ring finger and lightly pat the cream on before using any other products on your face.
Kumaara has a great deal on two different packages on their site, a day-night ritual and total eye renewal. All you pay is shipping. You also have the opportunity to add other products at a reduced rate with your order. You can find the link for these free offers under the shop link. It is very important to read the terms on this offer. You will automatically get packages monthly at a much higher cost unless you phone in and cancel the auto ship program. I suggest everyone give these high quality products a try while this remarkable deal is still available.

I have also been taking advantage of this wonderful 30 day trial. I love this brand. Their eye products are incredible stuff. Normally, my favorite brand is Kinerase Under Eye Rescue. However, I believe that this is now my new favorite. I have not been using this a full week yet. However, I saw changes right away. After I apply this product, I swear I can hear my eyes "aaaaahh." It does feel that good right on contact.I am looking forward to see what changes I may experience during this 30 day trial. Personally, I think it is the best $5.95 I have spent.
These products sound amazing but I am reluctant to try the auto ship in case there's a mixup should I return it. I think I'll try the eBay or Amazon route in hopes of saving some money. Thanks for the excellent points you made, Girlfriends!
Moema....always a Mom first
Please read the terms and conditions before you try this 5.95 only deal. At the end of 30 days you are billed 99.95 unless you return the remainder of the product (used or unused). The product has to get there before the end of the 30 days and if they say it didn't, it didn't and you will pay 100 for this product. If you love the product and find the price within your budget, then it is a great deal. Yes you can argue with them and ask your credit card company to investigate, but the company clearly lays it out in the terms and conditions. And you need an RMS to return and if they deny it, you will be billed. Beware the great deal on infomercial style offers.
Thank you so much for pointing it out! This is so important. I'll check it out too but just imagine how many people will not read terms and then be billed!
I have elevated the kummaara luminizing eye treatment to the top spot in my bathroom section of most used and most coveted day and night skin care routine products! This cream is very impressive and seems to be beneficial to my delicate under eye area. If I wake up to zombie eyes, I top the kumaara cream with anatomical's no old bags allowed cream and the two seem to elevate my eyes back into human being status. The price is $49.95 which is spendy but then the skin under yours eyes is pretty much worth it I'm thinking! This is such a delicate area and warrants the best of creams! For the most part it seemed that you are only able to obtain this cream or even this product line from the kumaara website. However...I did my research and found this cream on Amazon.com right now for $39.95 from two merchants! Their shipping fees are $4.49 and $4.68 respectively. This could be the way to go to try it without getting into complicated charges later! Just a thought! Sharond's friend asking her what concealer she is wearing when she wasn't wearing any....right there I'd be writing down on the nearest piece of paper handy, the name of the cream and then hunting it down!
Jeanasina!
Sharon, Your review was incredibly thoughtful and well written. I appreciate knowing your background and point of view when it comes to choosing your products. I come from a very industrial area which has an extremely high instance of cancer and various other diseases. I myself am dealing with the possibility of cancer in my future. It has dramatically affected my life with surgeries and the possibility of not being able to have children. I really need to focus on using as many natural products as possible so as not to increase my risk. I am not all the way there yet. But with the help of posts like this I am finding all kinds of fantastic new products to try. Thank you! I will look into trying this fab and healthy sounding eye cream and product line. But I may try it via Amazon per Jeanasina's suggestion to save my pennies.
I am love-love-loving this line. This eye cream, the eye serum, the concealer and especially the illuminating primer have made my daily makeup routine so much easier, so much lighter and brighter. I find myself using less product, yet the effect is more, well, "wow." This is an amazing company.
What a great review, Sharon! This is an incredible product. I have been using it for 8 days now and am just blown away at the difference. My dark circles are nearly gone (I should sleep more, LOL) and the overall skin around my eyes is great - fine lines are just about gone! I am so excited to have this. (THANKS MEG!). I appreciate Jeanasina's tip on the companies selling it cheaper, but, I would pay full price for this without batting an eyelash as it is that good. I use so little of it and the jar is SO big, I am personally curious to see how long this lasts. Twice a day for 7 1/2 days now and I haven't made any noticable dent in it.I have been using this, the Illuminating Primer and the Concealer. I am amazed at all three. I am just in love with how good my skin looks using Kumaara. I agree, Tantejoan, this is just an amazing company.
Sharon, you are our own "Erin Brokovich." You are wise when it comes to interactions of elements and the hazards of chemicals. I would love to try this--it sounds like it would work for me! Excellent piece!
I received this from Meg and absolutely love this cream! I've only used it a few times, but plan to run this baby out. I wish I could use the concealer, but it's too light for my skin. The primer is also a fabulous product!
These would be a great product for me to have, the only part that throw me of is the cost, i guess i stick with my lush eye cream
yourbeautymark, I had the same reaction to the concealer, which Meg had sent me, even though I am fair. When I ordered the free trial eye treatment offer, therefore, I specified the darker shade and voilà! it was perfect. It covers the darker undereye area, and then the illuminating eye cream completes the camouflage. Nce.
i havent tryed this and sad to say i probably wont cause my luck is i would forget to try this and would be charged for money i dont have
Girl...I can SO relate! I am currently waging on the cropdusters who fnd it necessary to spray almost constantly "around me" because God forbid one single boll weevil rear it's UGLY head in a cotton field...what "they" are getting away with because there are "government programs" for the spraying is nothing less than criminal and yes, cancer is rampant around here as well.Onto the product...I could rant for hours on the other subject.GREAT review and although I love the concealer and the primer, the eye-cream made my skin itch horribly.I have passed it onto my Mom and will share her feelings about it asap! Great review, think the company has enormous potential however I dislike "auto-ships" or "call to cancel" orders that have my credt card info and hope they go to another form for sales,I had a negative experience with this in the past and won't "bite" again.Glad to hear Amazon offers options!
I am definitely going to try this, I am desperate for an eye cream that will help with puffiness and dark circles no matter how much it costs. I work the overnight shift and do 40 hours in three days ....so I know that most of my problem is that I need more sleep, but I sure would like to look better now.
I'm hispanic and my undereye circles are the worse ever, even if I sleep 8 hours. Have your tried an orange color corrector for your eyes?
Hi everyone: I just purchased this for $24.99 free shipping on ebay. It was the only one they had, but keep on checking to see if any more are put up for auction. I'll let you all know what I think when I receive it. Anything that makes the dark circles go away can only be GREAT!
As young as my sister is, she has devastating dark circles. I would gladly recommend this to her!
Sharond - I love the fact that you are making us aware that just because something doesn't kill you outright, doesn't mean it won't in the long run. It's something we need to be aware of - particularly when it comes to putting stuff on your skin (your largest organ) or ingesting food that is full of chemicals - never mind the pollution factor you described.I have hectic dark circles - this sounds like a great product, and I love that it's free of dangerous chemicals...I grew up thinking natural = shoddy quality, and it's a mindset I need to keep reminding myself to avoid......
Go natural! Run from the price at the end of the tunnel. I like the reviewer who found it on eBay. Thank you for the commitment to a better planet and purely healthy cosmetics.
Thank you for informing everyone of the charge after the 30 day trial! It really does pay to read the fine print. I can't even count how many times I have almost been charged extra charges for 'free' stuff.
I have a question... Iam 22.. should i START using a eye treatment like this.. or is this a wait til you need it sort of thing?!?! <3
Roxy, unless you are just aching to invest in an expensive group of products, I'd say you can really do well at 22 if you try out some basic eye creams from Olay or Avon/Mark. If you have really, really dark circles then by all means try this one, but I would go the eBay route -- Kumaara's "free" trial could cost you a whopping $99 every 2 months if you don't cancel within 30 days.
I am always in the search for quality eye creams. I swear I don't really have any wrinkles but I continuously have bags underneath my eyes no matter how much sleep I get the night before. I think I would look younger if my eyes didn't look so haggard all the time.I can't wait to try this.
I was going to try out the free trial, but then I read that you would be billed for the products if you didn't return them. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to purchase these, but maybe someday. :)Anyway, I received a Kumaara concealer from Meg and I absolutely love it. If this eye treatment is the same quality as the concealer I'm sure it's absolutely fab!
Interesting. I've always battled dark circles and I have not found a cream that helps CURE the problem. I'm always working on conceling the problem. This is something that I'm very interested in trying, however the price isn't quite right.

I wonder why you can't use it on the top of your eye though. I find that the skin on my inner eyelid is as prone to wrinkles and loss of firmness as the under-eye area. I always make it a point to dot eye cream along my brow bone and gently blend downward, as well as underneath.
Indi
I do this as well, at night. I have never understood why almost all eye creams say under eye. I only use under eye sparingly during the day. My entire eye area looks great. My crows feet are much fainter.
This line is changing the way I view my skin and my whole makeup routine. I am finding I use less and less of everything and STILL look pulled together and polished. It's helping me go back to a more natural, bright look. I think that is important because we can so easily go the other way and start over-doing it when we start to see those little fine lines, ya know? Indi- I do use it on top of the eye, directly underneath my brow bone (not the eyelid area). I haven't had any adverse side affects but I also haven't researched why it isn't recommended. Call me crazy but I just gotta rebel against some things! Also, I think that the primer made by this line would give you that lit from within look that you have been looking for in a foundation. I really don't even feel like I need much (if any) when I have this on. I love it.
I too could not afford this product, thinking I would return the product in 30 days. I called today to cancel and they gave me a great deal of $49.95 for the products and then I changed the auto delivery to 120 days. They were willing to work with me, so for those who wish to try and do like, perhaps you can this price also. Still. Be sure to read the terms and conditions as you do not want to be stuck in an auto ship plan that does not meet your needs.I still like this product the more I use. I also am doing the free trial on the night creme and impressed with that as well.

Sharon, what did you get for the trial? The eye cream and what else? Changing to the 49.95 does sound like a good deal. I think the jar would last every bit of 120 days, maybe a bit more.
For the Day/Night Ritual I got these two items: Daily Antioxidant Protection and Overnight Repair Complete For the Eye Renewal Kit, I got these three items: Luminizing Eye Treatment, Daily Antioxidant Eye Serum, and Radiant Finish Concealer. I also got the primer for and additional 19.95 with the Eye Renewal KitNote that each kit was $49.95 and I will be getting another set at $49.95 in 120 days. The lady I talked to said the price could not go up, and I took her name as confirmation. If I don't need products in 120 days, I am suppose to call and delay shipping which she said is no problem. I liked the products well enough to think that I would be buying more.

Thanks, that is really not a bad deal at all. Not at all. The products are worth it. I just cleansed, and did night time regime and again, I am so impressed at my eyes. The dark circle I had are so going away, they look pretty darn good even before I put the LET on.
I missed out on this product. Bummer. Will have to look for it. Thanks for letting me know about the hidden fee!
as a someone who always had dark circles, i have been very interested to read this article. i believe that there is no way to get rid of dark circles permanently (just like cellulite, it is hereditary), but there are some creams that do a good job of concealing or temporarily reducing the black eye effect :)
so i heard that you should use anti ages when you turn about 16 is that true?
Smooty, I think 16 might be a bit young to use anti aging stuff. I started using eye cream at 17, and never faultered. I added anti aging to my routine around 28 - 30. But, who knows, if you start it that young, you might look 20 when you are 50. The most important things I think you can do now though are: never sleep in makeup!, exfoliate, even if you are just using a slightly rough face cloth, ( for years before chemical exfoliators became popular, I bought large packs of cheap wash clothes - one side is kind of soft, one rougher, they are thin and used a fresh clean one twice a day, this gave me light mechanical exfoliation and I didn't even know it. LOL I just thought it felt good.) wear sunscreen EVERYDAY, use eye cream, drink lots of water, and don't smoke.
I'm 20 and have been using eye creams for about a year now. I had the teeny tinies laugh lines around my eyes and they have virtually vanished now. So even just the regular eye creams just work.I'd be interetsted in this, as I also have heriditary dark circles but am beginning to think that like cellulite not much can cure them!!
You know I have never really thought about chemicals too much until I read this article. I just assumed that chemicals in my cosmetics were considerably safe because "why would someone put things that were not in something I put on my face." I am really thinking seriously now about what I am using. I really want to try this. I want to thank you for bringing this information to us. I am checking the site now. :-)
A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.

I have never heard of this brand before here. But it LOOKS AMAZING!And they have a trial period! Awesome!

ahh dark undereye cirlces stink.. im glad you found something that works for you :) yeah, its never too young to start taking care of your skin :D
I am 24 do you think i am too young to use this product?I have under eye circles and it is genetic.
Kathy you dont have to have wrinkles to start using it-prevention is better than cure and all that. The more I read about this line the more I want it and the black and gold pots look so glamorous.
PotionPrincess♥
I think i can try this one, dou you know where i can find this? At sephora maybe?
OH Sorry Now I see this link.
I have now been using this for over two weeks. I am just totally amazed at how good my eyes look. They look tighter, I look more rested all the time, and I really do look younger around the eyes. The fine lines are hardly visible. My crows feet are so faint I have to spend serious time with the magifying mirror. And my under eye circles, which lets be honest, weren't the worst, but are probably genetic as I have female relatives with REALLY bad ones, are barely visible. Today I didn't even put concealer over them - just the Eye Treatment, then the Kumaara Primer, then a dusting of mineral veil.I am even more impressed with this the more I use it. Thanks again Meg for turning me on to this amazing potion!
OMGoodness I ordered this and love it!!!! LOVE! LURVE! There isn't a word to describe my feelings for this.Ok I am calming down now. However do be forewarned although the company is running a special you not only have to call them to tell them not to automatically cont. sending you products but if you don't like it you also have to pay an additional $99 or $100 or so if you like and keep the product. If you decide not to keep it then you must call them for a return label number and send the original jars with it.But why return it when this shiz is utterly fabulous?
I hate auto shipping...so i'll check e-bay or something. I love the way this one sounds.
This sounds wonderful!! I too am leary of an autoship but the responses above have really temted me. I am going to check on Amazon and Ebay first though. I did think I might order, empty the product into another jar, then return the jar before the 30 days, just to make sure it got returned in time...christy

Wow, this sounds amazing. I'm always on the look out for natural and organic products that aren't harmful to the planet or myself. It's heartening to see that these kinder products are actually good for your skin too!
