CATCOSMETICS! HELLO GORGEOUS! AMAZING 6 WELL PALETTE!
Sharond here! People who follow this site know that I am very fond of Cat Cosmetics and even list her Six Kitten palette as one of my favorite items on my profile page.
I used to go home for lunch everyday for years since I could not miss a single episode of the soap opera, One Life to Live. Lindsey, played by Catherine (Cat) Hickland, was one of the most beautiful, luminous women I had ever seen. I used to read Cat’s Product Queen column in a soap opera magazine where she would review cosmetic products and was impressed at her honesty. In one of her articles, Cat mentioned she had developed her own makeup line since she could not find products of the quality she wanted and needed. She had been a makeup artist before turning to acting, and is still doing her own makeup before going on camera, so I felt her background what was needed to develop high quality cosmetics. I was so impressed with Catcosmetics.com’s selection and information about the products that I had to put my first huge order on a credit card! Cat’s site also had a wonderful chat where people could offer all sorts of cosmetic advice. One day we got an e-notice that Cat was discontinuing her chat area and advised us to check out Megsmakeup.com for honest, straight forward reviews on drug store to high end makeup plus other great makeup ideas and skin care information. Impressed again, I signed up with Megsmakeup.com immediately and have been voicing my opinion ever since.
Today I want to tell you about a fairly new item on the Catcosmetic.com website called Hello, Gorgeous! This six well glossy black case is filled with some of Cat’s most popular items along with a good quality brush and a large mirror. The first two wells have my favorite blush and bronzer, Whiskers and Catnip, which work with any skin tone. The remaining 4 wells are filled with Cat’s eye shadows, a formula which is soft, silky and long lasting. Start with Purity, a yellow based beige tinted base shadow which would be great for a matte even wash of color from lash to brow. Highlight your brow bone and lid with Treasure, a soft pinkish beige shimmer shadow. Play with the antique shimmery bronze colored Peace, using it to darken your contours and as a great way to smoke your eyes or dry line. I blended Treasure with all the eye shadows in the kit with amazing results. Last but not least is Joy, a dark matte brown with just a small hint of shimmer. Again, this is great to dry line, smoke and mix with any of the other colors to make new ones. Cat’s Hello, Gorgeous! palette has it all on one nifty package.
Cat’s eye shadows are long lasting, silky smooth, blendable and in wonderful wearable colors that work for anyone at any age. The colors easily blend with each other allowing you to create any color to suit your needs. Using the shadows wet allows you to get a fine thin extra dark line at the base of your lashes or for those who are adventurous, mimic the runway models unique eye designs. I also put a touch of a darker shadow on my brows to make them more noticeable. An added feature of this palette is that the wells are magnetic and can be refilled, or rearranged to make the palette fit your needs. I love multi-tasking products and this one delivers like no other.

i received these same product from Meg when I redeem my points. I fell in love with it at first sight. I loved the big mirror and most important I finally found a good base color for my eyeshadow.
I very rarely chime in on products because I only do if something truly 100% Knocks my socks off. Hello Gorgeous is going to become my new "CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!" Each shade is a winner! Seriously, everytime I come up with a fabulous combo that I am in love with-well then I come up with another one as equally gorgeous and am so blown away.The lighter shades work GORGEOUS-HELLO! for day and tey are so pigmented that a little goes a long way and yes-they sure do last! The convenience of being able to go-day-to smoky sultry night in one compact in brilliant and like Rowandamia says, the huge mirror makes it easy for quick office desk or car application.I woud give this product a million champagne glasses. It is highest quality, amazingly beautiful shades and so far- THE BEST EYE PALETTE I HAVE COME ACROSS ON THE MARKET! THE BEST A++Try it or buy it for a gift for a friend- believe me-YOU NEED THIS!!
I love the colors that come in this compact! The huge Mirror is also a big Plus with me i can see my whole face not just another small round mirror that usually comes standard with all eye pallots! Great Product!!!
Sharon-Nice review as usual. I too have long loved the beautiful Catherine Hickland who I first saw in the soaps and in theater. She is amazing! And I have heard nothing but fabulous things about her cosmetics. I usually feel like I have to see something in person before I buy. But I need to just give it up and try something from her line. According to everyone here I will not be disappointed. And this palette looks nothing short of awesome! I heard from another little birdie here how fab it is. I wonder when Cat is having another big sale....That would probably be the best time for me to try this brilliant and beautiful lady's cosemtics.

Wow, I am looking forward to trying this. The colors in this palette look GORGEOUS and quite versatile! It's no secret that I am a huge fan of Cat Cosmetics. ;) I've used many Cat products: Meow-za pencil, Eye Smolder, Open Sesameow brush set and the Kabuki brush and have been so thrilled with all of them. I am so psyched that Smolder is 50% off this month. What a fabulous deal! Thanks CAT.

omg I looooooooooooove this! This is my go to palette EVERY DAY! As much as I don't want to use it so I can have it forever, I can't help it. I love it so much that I even play with the colors on my hand when I am sitting in the bathroom while my 1 year old takes a bath. I know, pathetic. These colors are so wearable, blendable, silky and LONG LASTING! I have never loved an eyeshadow palette as much as this one! After reading all the reviews I REALLY want to try this.The colors look perfect. I'd definitely use them all the time. The quality of product also sounds absolutely amazing.
Excellent review, Sharon! Makes me want to run right over to Cat's website this very minute. I've used her primer and eye Smolder. Very good products. Smolder is great for travel or just keeping in my purse. I'm a fool for palettes, so I'm hoping Hello Gorgeous is in my near future!

I've been on the Cat train ever since she started her line, and I'm a devoted fan, especially of Smolder, my #1 go-to smoky eye resource and one I am never without. This palette had me from before I opened it! I held it and it positively vibrated to my soul. "Open me," it crooned. "Great things await within." And my big, black, shiny case did not lie. The large mirror is such a gift, so made to order for the gal on the go. All the colors, as Sharon and you all testify, work and play well with others, and the pink and bronze-y blushers suit virtually all skin tones. As Audrey Hepburn said when she whipped up an omelet for Humphrey Bogart in Sabrina, "It's all in zee wreest." If you are fair, use sparingly. If you are dark or tanned, use a little more. Wet or dry, this is practically all you need, with a little lipcolor and mascara, to do a day or nighttime look. Sure, you can use your Meowza pencil, why not? But like that old commercial for Ragu sauce used to say, "It's in there." Cat knows, and she put "it" all "in there" for us. Bless her.
This is a stunningly beautiful palette. I squealed with glee when I opened it. As I've said before I have red/ruddy skin and so often eye shadow colors just seem to make it more noticeable. These are so beautifully flat and muted that I will be able to wear them WITHOUT feeling like my skin is being amplified. And the color combinations are practically endless. Day to night...this has you covered. I know EVERYONE who has received this with their points is falling IN LOVE! I also love the refillable part. Great for the environment and not just ANOTHER thing to throw in the trash!

Ladybug_3777, I think the same thing every time I read the phrase "Cat Cosmetics!" Especially because the names are kitty-inspired names! How weird would that be, a cosmetic company for cats...You ladies are going to make me broke :P I really really do not like palettes because I usually only like 1 or 2 things in the palette. I also do not care for blush or bronzer (yes, I should wear it, I could use a little bit of oomph, but I'm just afraid I'll look dirty or clown-like because I don't really know how to apply it right). But you ladies are making it sound foolproof! Tell me it's not too good to be true!

You are SO funny Jen. I wish everyone could see how cute the TOP of this is too. If you're looking for really really great all in one on the go check out Cat's Sex Kitten palette. It has everything!!! And "Cat's Complete Look" is simply gorgeous. I have the eyeliner from it and its FAB.

I've never tried Cat Cosmetics before, but I know that every time there is a review of the products they get nothing less than stellar reviews. One of these days I'll have to break down and order something. I'm like Kellie, I want to see/play with the product in real life before buying it.

I feel like sometimes the smaller "boutique" cosmetic brands just don't have the same quality that we know we can expect from tried-and-true department store or Sephora brands. That is NOT the case with Cat Cosmetics. From her blushes to the eye-smoulder (love it! wearing it today!), everything is of the best quality without totally breaking the bank. When I opened this palette up for the first time, I literally gasped. The most gorgeous, earthy, wearble colors I had ever seen! $65 is really pretty reasonable for a bronzer, a blush, and four shadows...that's only a little over $10 a piece! The colors are soft and velvety and apply beautifully to your face...and you can certainly use them all over...I love to put the blush in my creases and the bronzer on my lids...its the perfect non-Orange shade. Oh, I am in LOVE with the Hello Gorgeous palette!!!!

This palette is a CLASSIC. For anyone that travels this is a dream because it has everything you need in ONE high quality compact that is refillable! (What more could I want?)These products are long lasting. I am a person who sometimes hesitates to order online before I try it. HOWEVER, I think this product and other things will fulfill your expectations.There are two things that I really like about this product line that have not been discussed yet.1) There is a handy label on the back of the palette. That reminds you what the name of the color you are using. This is great because I know I will refill this and have something that reminds me of the names of the colors. 2) The website is great. It is easy to use and even gives you tips on application for a variety of looks.
For those who like a good sale, sign up for Cat's emails. Every month she has a sale called Monthly Meow. Many times, usually closer to Christmas, she has everything at 25% off. You also earn claws which add up to products you want. They work just like money.Cat's eye shadows are drenched in pigment so just a bit is all that is needed and it lasts. I have never had a close second from anyone on her products. For those afraid to order on line, call Gillian, Cat's right hand, at 888-505-4228. Gillian knows all the products and is so helpful on answering questions, offering suggestions, and even dishing on great application advice. Trust me, she is sweetheart and you will not be steered wrong.If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I know the line in and out.

You do Cat PROUD and I love how your enthusiasm shines through,glowing review and a deserving product for sure! I've never tried Cat Cosmetics either, but the colors of this palette looks gorgeous. It seems like nearly everyone agrees with the quality of this product. This certainly has peaked my interest.
Those colors look gorgeous. I usually stick with neutral colors because I'm afraid of looking like a clown if I use bright makeup, so this palette is right up my alley. Has anyone with really oily lids tried these? Any problems with creasing?
oh yah and the brush that comes with this palette is AWESOME! I have never had a brush that came with a palette that didn't go straight into the trash!!! I love it !

The colours of the palette are gorgeous, and I'm a true believer in the opinions of all Megheads (who all seem to agree that Cat=great) - it just breaks my heart they don't sell this stuff here. You guys don't know how lucky you are......

Absolutely fantastic sextuplet of facial enhancements fit for a star! It's definitely the cat's meow! When I opened it up, immediately I said 'WOW!" The mirror is HUGE which is such a bonus especially if you happen to take this six circle beautification chamber with you on the go! I love all the colors - all flattering from eyes to cheeks! There really are no colors in the palette that will end up just sitting there because it's a putrid shade of bleakness that doesn't suit anybody! You know how often that happens you right? There's always some shade on color pallets that positively sucks on you - well this time - every color is really flattering! I definitely am going to try the shadows wet and see what kind of a eyeliner enhancer that does for me! I hadn't even thought of that until I read Sharonds fabulous review! I was solely enjoying the color pods straight up!What I'd really love to view from Cat's site (actually I'd like to see and try everything on her website) but I would especially love to view her "Cat's makeover video called Simply Gorgeous"! It's full of tips and tricks for women of all ages and ethnicities! It says "it'll make you incredibly proud of how you look." I would love that! I bet I could learn a lot to help enhance what I am working with here! I'm also super interested in trying her Skin Double Creme Foundation! Cat is without question a class act and her products clearly demonstrate that fact!

This is a great review!I am new to this site and just started reading different things. I must say after reading this review I have to try this product out. Just from the picture I see that These are great colors and has great quality. I like the fact that it comes with a good quality brush and not the cheap ones that usually come with other products. Also the big mirror. I can't stand having to look through such a small mirror that I can only see one eye in.xoTiera

I heard so many good thinks about Cat cosmetic on this site but have never try them yet. I've been really tempted a few time to put in an order but still haven't taken the plunge. I might have to after seeing this palette. These colors are absolutely gorgeous. These colors are pretty much the colors of eyeshadows I own in different cosmetic companies.

I had to add that I have been using this daily for the blusher, the eye shadows, I have used a wet brush and dipped it in the darker color for eyeliner...this is a really WONDERFUL, very well utilized cat creation!! I just love it! I'd say man oh man this is the time get it - Meg says they are having a sale right now!!!!

I love that this palette has blush, bronzer,and eyeshadows. It seems as if it would be perfect for traveling. A whole look in one palette. The price tag is a bit frightening though, I must admit. I keep seeing this palette all over this website and I neeeeeeed itt! lol I better start saving now.
I have never heard of Cat :( But I am running off to look. This is Gorgeous lol.
