HUGE HSN BEAUTY SALE! AT LEAST 25% OFF! AND CAN WE HELP LITTLE BROOKIE?

Thanks Tantejoan for bring HSN'S HUGE SUMMER BEAUTY SALE TO OUR ATTENTION! ALL AT LEAST 25% OFF!
Any HSN Beauty lovers out there? Who do you buy from them and how do you find the shipping and customer service? The balm, Urban Decay, Stila-All at pretty decent markdowns! Enjoy! They also have a lot of hair products on there which leads me to my next question! I know you'll know the answer to this one! What is the best Hair Thickening Spray?
A girlfriend of mine is not around a big city and she is out of her "Peter Coppola and really liked it but can’t find it around here. Do you have any suggestions? I’m going to try to head to the mall today to pick something up. It’s a spray that you put in your hair when it is dry and it thickens your hair. I’ve tried gels and serums and don’t like them that much but really like sprays".
What suggestions for HSN or Thickening Sprays do you have up your product heavy sleeves?

is thickening sort of like volumizing? i have thin hair and have used Eufora Volume Infusing Spray (it should be available at hair salons, you can check on their website, probably). it smells really good, like berries, and it really adds volume and fullnes to my limp hair- you can use it on dry or damp hair. They also offer sprays that add shine- they are cool too!
Have you ever heard of Salt Water Spray? It is supposed to naturally plump your hair. You know those sexy beach-y waves that all the super models have? Supposedly this is what they use. There are tons of different types, the only negative, this product can be very drying. So be sure to deep condition. (You can even make a bit of your own. Mix a few tablespoons of Organic Sea Salt in a spray bottle full of water and shake to mix. Next, spritz your entire head [post shampoo/conditioner] and let dry naturally or diffuse dry. This won't offer the same quality as the salon brands but it might be fun to give it a go.)As far as the Peter Coppola spray, I just checked and they carry his products at Beautysak.com. The customer reviews were very positive. I haven't shopped this particular site but it's worth a try. ♥
never got anything from HSN. i cant see myself doing it. i really dont like ordering and waiting for things to arrive if i could simply get them in-store immediately.

Thanks for the tip! Never tried ordering anything from HSN though.
One tablespoon of magnesium sulphate (epsom salts - easily available at the pharmacy) in about half a liter of water in the final rinse adds body to your hair. It's supposedly the main ingredient in all hair thickening sprays - you get the beachy effect that Dawn was referring to with the salt water, but it's not quite as drying.......definitely works on my thin wisps (which are slowly thickening thanks to Dawn's 'special recipe')........

I've never orderd from HSN before. Watched it a few times out of boredom. Thanks!

I have ordered from HSN but only jewelry. Hair thickening spray sounds awesome.
I haven't found a good thickening spray :(
Thanks for the heads up. I've never ordered anything from HSN, but I'm really tempted now seeing that they have tons of Bliss products on sale and I am a tiny bit obsessed with it comes to Bliss :P
Thanks for posting about the HSN sale! I've never bought anything from HSN before, but the sale prices are pretty good :)

Nioxin makes a spray called Nioxin Volumizing Reflectives Thickening Spray. According to Nioxin this spray: adds thickness and strength while adding body, volume and texture to hair without build-up. It works very well, adding alot of volume, without making hair dull. A little goes a long way with this spray. You spray it from roots to ends, comb through and style. My all time favorite salt water product is made by Bumble & Bumble. It's called B&B Surf Spray. That stuff is amazing- it creates beautiful beach waves, with a matte finish and no crunchy finish.

Sunsilk has a wave spray that is really nice too. It creates soft and natural beach girl waves at a fraction of the price. I do already have naturally curly hair. But it still does this with my hair.
WOW! Thanks, I love HSN. I don't know why, I never watch it on TV, but, I love their site. I personally am partial to the Adrianne Arpel Signature Club A line, and Susan Lucci. Will have to check out the sale. Gosh, I love the word sale.
I haven't had "good luck" although they are very customer-service oriented. My Mom however, orders from them a lot and loves them!My new and LOVE IT item was suggested in "Allure" magazine and it's Sally Hershberger's "Supreme Lift" spray! It adds volume and thickness and like every one of this "A-List" stylist's products I have tried is a bargin for the cost...buy at Walgreen's and don't be suprised if it's sold out!
I love HSN & QVC for buying beauty products sometimes! They just have better deals!! Especially if you get the sets, it's like getting 1-2 products free!!

Oooh yay! I love HSN - I've got some real good deals on products I love like Ojon. I'm heading over to check out the sale now...Oh before I leave I have to agree with Style Mama on the salt spray! I've used several types from cheap to expensive and they work quite well - I would recommend buying somewhere in the middle though as the cheap ones always smelled awful. Or you can make your own which she suggested - I can't believe I never thought of that!
I would love to find out about some great hair thickening sprays. I didn't know such a product existed.
i'm check it out what's on sale
I am cheap, I don't have cable television. In fact the only television in our house is in the guest room. Our son didn't watch tv growing up, instead he read and played on the computer. At times I miss not having cable based television so I can see some of these shows like HSN, Better Homes and Garden and others. Anyone know if you can shop HSN on the internet?

I used to use a great thickening spray made by a local company where I live, but unfortunately they don't make it anymore. BOO. It worked really well but then again you were supposed to use it on wet hair and then blow dry it. Not sure about products that work the same way on dry hair. Hm.
I've never ordered from HSN but I just might now! Thanks :)
I have never ordered from hsn, I am using John Frieda Volumizing spray and I love it.
I don't have cable, but I regularly check out QVC and HSN on the web!
I never, ever watch these shows on tv, but I do sometimes order from their websites. The only thing I don't like about QVC is that the shipping is pretty expensive, and the more you buy, the more you pay for shipping. I'm so used to ordering from sites where you get free shipping if you spend a certain amount, that it really annoys me to pay more when I spend more.
I ordered a piece of exercise equipment once from HSN, but that's it. I don't have the need for thickening my hair (the opposite most times), but I know many *well meaning* beauticians have told me to flip my head upside down and scrunch with a diffuser for a little bit (yikes, this is not good for me) until partly dry.

Ohh I LOVE HSN! Thanks for the the update! And WOW all 25% is amazing! Gotta find some steals there!
Hrm, I couldn't tell from the website but it looks like they only ship to US residents. Is this correct?
Ive never ordered from hsn but im going to now.
thanks for the advice! i never got anything from HSN before though
xoxo
Haven't ever ordered from HSN, but I'm going to look into it now. Thanks!
For those living outside the US such as myself, HSN unfortunately does not deliver internationally :(( But fwiw, I often use ExpatExpress to get items that can't be delivered outside of the US (there are several services like this available now); and if you don't have a US based credit-card, you can arrange for the for the company to buy your item for you (for a price, of course)... I have been living abroad for over a decade, so it can be frustrating when I can't get a product locally, but the Internet has really helped me overcome such issues--most of the time, anyway! So I'm off to check out the HSN sale--although goodness knows it won't be good for my pocketbook!
i've never order from HSN !!!
hsn is so addictive i try to stay cleaaar. i prefer my sample sale websties!
I just checked it out, and some of this makeup is super cheap! I'm thinking about getting some palettes or the theBalm liner kit. It's 50% off!
I have never ordered from HSn but after seeing some of the prices...I may be.

OMG TOOO COOL!! Im GOING TO ORDER
I love ybf presentations. It's nice to see a real transformation using their products instead of someone who has already been made up and they just pretend to swipe product on.
I would really like to try the products of hsn...
Thanks for the tip on HSN. I ordered from there many years ago.

I have never heard of a thickening spray...however I have naturally thick hair so I don't really need it.
Never head of this. I definately won't try the thickening spray. Maybe a thinning spray. LOL.
Awesome! I'll go check it out now.
I know that sometimes i feel guilty for only shopping sales, but the truth is...i cannot afford to but things at full price. When it comes down to it, I know that supporting the company and business is important but I always seem to only hit the SALE racks. That is the reason this forum is my most frequented, and the deals are so irresistable!

i just bought 3 sets!!!!! yay and i got the get baked pallette!! woohoo so excited!!
makeup makeup makeup!!!!!!!
ive never gotten anything from HSN, but salt-water spray is supposed to work! ;]
Thickening sprays are really just volumizing your hair, not giving you MORE of it...if you blow dry them right, they'll appear to be just as 'thickened' as if you'd used some sort of product in them
I've never purchased from HSN. Do you have to just sit around and wait for the right products to appear on the TV, or do all their deals work online too? Online takes the fun out of it, but seems a lot more practical! (edited for spelling mistake)
