ALBA ORGANICS LAVENDER SPF 30 SUNSCREEN!
Sweetassgal here! It's milestone time here at Megs...my 18 year old son has graduated from High School! I can't believe it. That little doe eyed boy I met almost ten years ago is all grown up and going off to college this fall. As Miss Truvy from Steel Magnolias says..."Time marches on and eventually you realize its marching across your face!". Time is definitely going forward...with or without me.
This was glaringly evident to me as I attended the Graduation ceremony Friday night. To be fair, I am understandably much younger than most of the mothers I saw there. However, what I did see was a bit of a magic mirror showing me where I could be 18 years ahead in life should my husband and I be blessed with a child now. I saw the sacrificing moms who have put aside their personal needs, the power moms still keeping up their pilates and Prada...and then the mom who would rather look good and humiliate her child then dress anything less than Pam Anderson on crank.
This chippy was a kicker. I mean seriously something out of Hugh Heffner's over 45 cast offs half price bin! She was wearing the tiniest of halter tops over a giant enhanced chest that barely covered her "peek-a-boo I see you!" nipples. I mean one slip and its NIP CITY BABY! Her micro-mini was so small she couldn't even sit down and had to stand the 2 hour ceremony in her 6 inch platform stripper heels (the kind I used to wear for costumes...not family occasions) complaining the entire time about "why they have to take so M F'ing long to get these damn kids graduated"! She cussed like a sailor, yelled at people walking by and talked crap about the women around her. Her poor daughter came by afterwards and freaked over what her mother was was wearing in front of her guffawing friends. That lovely young lady was so embarrassed and I felt for her immensely. Moms can be hot and NOT put their child into therapy!
Now, I'm not saying that once you become a mom or get passed a certain age you can't be sexy or suddenly you have to turn into Mabel the House Frau...but showing up to a HS grad looking like a Hollywood Blvd hooker is NOT cool and definitely doesn't scream Mother of the Year. I think what struck me most was her obvious addiction to Ye Ole' Tanning Bed. For all of her obsessive effort to stay thin, dress young, and hold on to her 20's like Jon & Kate to their rapidly diminishing dignity she didn't seem to care that all those years of tanning have left her pre-maturely wrinkled skin hanging off of her bony little frame. She strongly resembled an anorexic Shar Pei in Drag! Again...time marches on for us all, regardless of how much we deny it and baking your skin in a human sized bug zapper is not going to help. SPF girls...its your BEST friend!
I recently found a great organic sunscreen by California Baby that is SPF 30, fragrance free and really gentle on the skin. The only problem is it's $20 for a 3 ounce tube and that's not something my wallet can take right now. So I hit the organic aisle at Whole Foods and found an Alba Organics Lavender Sunscreen SPF 30 infused with aloe vera, chamomile and green tea. It soothes, repairs, and protects skin against free radicals and is water resistant, fast absorbing and non-greasy. I tested it out under the 90 degree Sac Valley sun this weekend and at $9 a tube for a full 4 ounces it's a great organic alternative to pricier brands. They even have a kids version that extols all of the virtues of the Lavender version and has a kid friendly fresh fruit scent.
Anyone else like Alba Organics Lavender SPF 30 sunscreen or do you have a trusted organic brand I should try at an affordable price? Let me know.
Any fun stories about the time Mom picked you up from school in a tube top and ass cheek shorts I'd love to hear them. If we can't laugh about it what's the point of surviving adolescent mental scars...right! GLAM ON!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your son's graduation! :)
♥ Lipgloss and Spandex: a blog for gals who look good and run fast
I am going to think of a good story at a more decent hour of the day. I am a little tired. But I just wanted to say a big congratulations to you. This is a major milestone for you and your son. I loved the J&K reference. Hysterical and true! I will check this stuff out. I really need good sun protection for my oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. Congrats!
Congratulations on your sons graduation! I am going to have to give this alba sunscreen a try. I am almost completely out of my Jo Malone Protective Daily Lotion (their sunscreen) and they've discontinued it (not like I would buy it again, I got it for free when I was working at J.M. and it was hella espensive!) I'm freaking out because I really hate having to try things out and have a total #fail and sunscreen is one of thee toughest things because I have such weird freak out skin that even the slightest of greasiness and I become something along the lines of what James Dean looked like in that one scene in Giant :\ You're a total class act that just so happens to be a total hottie too btw ;)
http://manthatsfraiche.blogspot.com/
Let me say congrats to your son! I'm going to be naughty here and admit that I almost never use sunscreen. I'm part Native American and my Mom always told me, "we were bred to live in the sun. We need none of this goop" while she chucked it in the can. And admittedly, I didn't burn much as a kid. A little red and then golden brown the next day. My Mom was also addicted to tanning beds. Still is. Owns one in fact. She's in her late 40s now (had me yooooung) and has the strangest skin I have ever seen. In short...she was WRONG. We do need that sunscreen. She doesn't have a ton of facial wrinkles. What she does have is extremely dry skin. Hands that belong to a woman twice her age, wrinkly legs, and some serious extra skin on her neck. I love my Mom and she is a beautiful woman, but she did herself a terrible disservice with those beds. I received some Aveeno care package from Allure with a tube of their sunscreen in it. I went to an amusment park and another major outdoor attraction for my honeymoon and was in need for some sunscreen. I grabbed the free stuff! My husband is Irish. Very, very Irish. Red hair, plae skin. Never tans- just turns bright red, peels, and is pale again. This Aveeno stuff was awesome. It wasn't greasy, was easy to apply, and protected BOTH of us from burns. My cheeks were a little pink, and his nose was a little pink. Not bad for nearly 16 hours in the sun combined on both days for two cave dwellers. We had no "base" built up for our sun exposure. An embarassing Mom story...I have many. As some of your know, my Mom is Bipolar. This makes her a little "eccentric" even in the "normal" phases. I came out of elementary school once and she was in a bathrobe barefoot with perm coils in her hair. If it wasn't such a small school I would have pretended I didn't know her. My Mom wore a skort, tank top, and tennis shoes to my COLLEGE graduation. I love my Mom, but she has the style of a 12 year old. She doesn't do herself justice. Man, these Mom stories are brining bacl long buried memories. I'm torn between doing this stuff to my own kids when I have them and being that ever-classy Mom they can be proud of. Decisions decisions.
I love this sunscreen. I too LOVE california baby sunscreen but pricey so I carry California baby in the diaper bag and I sent off the Alba sunscreen for kids to daycare with my son. I couldn't shed the money for two tubes of california baby so I bought the next best thing. I haven't try it for myself yet, I will have to pick one of these lavender tubes next time I'm at whole foods for my pale irish skin. I can't wait to smell the lavender.I'm very lucky I don't have any embarassing stories about my mother. She's as classy as it gets. She would of been the one on the sideline commenting on the unappropriate Moms. I've never seen her with anything revealing, as a matter of fact for my wedding she bought this GORGEOUS dress I mean GORGEOUS... paid a fortune for it. She said she felt like a princess in it, Ahhh but getting closer to the wedding I could tell she wasn't comfortable. It was off shoulder dress but nothing revealing at all, anyways my mother-in-law ended up wearing it instead and my mother found this still beautiful very classic dress with a "jacket" ;-) To this day my mom does not leave the house without her makeup and hair done. And she never sunbathed her white procelain skin and you can tell she doesn't look like a 63 year old woman, she has really nice skin.
Oh and Congrats to your son!
congrats... how exciting for you and your son & your family!!! incidentally i just bought this alba lavender sunscreen on drugstore (they're having a sunscreen sale and of COURSE the cali baby one ISNT on sale.... we use that one for the lil roxtar who's 19 months and calls it sun cweam because there's a sun on the tube)... the added bonus for me was the lavender... WHICH is also a bug repellent... and we live in the country, those buggers need repelling... and i'm a sunscreen queen. i also purchased the kiss my face... face & neck sunscreen which was also on sale, to see which one we all prefer. i'm a sucker for a sale. embarrassing graduation story.... my sister graduated college, my father decided to "dress" for the occassion. we're scottish, that means the kilt & the hose & the sporan & the wool coat & vest (minus the bagpipes thankfully).... yeah.... did i mention, my sister graduated college IN FLORIDAnuff said
One of my fav EVER reviews, the visuals had me snorting my coffee on the keyboard,LOL!Alwasy a nice way to start the day...You KNOW I'm a freak about sunscreen and am always willing to invite yet another proven brand into my home. Will give this a whirl, the "Alba" line in general is amazing and decently pricedmy local Walmart even carries some of it in their "natural" section now. :)I love the grad-story and kuddos to your son,he's got a great Mom and a bright future I am sure! I can't even imagine the shame the young girl must have and do not know what goes on inside some of these woman's minds(or lack of?) I think the cougar-mentality is great in spirit and attitude but honestly doesn't always translate well into street-wear.I absolutely maintain that you can be hot, sexy, and appropriate without looking like you walk the streets for money! If anything I tend to go "the other way" and my husband is always yanking my cardy off my shoulders,LOL! I about died at a "viewing" the other day when a well-known local lady passed at the ripe ol' age of 103..MANY went to pay respects in their tank-tops,cut offs, and flip flops as well as in bathing suit-tops and shorts.I know...at least they went but please???As to the kilt...I am a FOOL for a man in a kilt and probably would have swooned over your Dad,LOL! ;)Before I wear anything anymore,I ask myself if my 11 yr; old grandaughter would try and borrow it,LOLROF! Keeps me sane.:)
This was a funny, most excellently written storyline! I almost started shuddering thinking “I wonder if I embarrassed my kids at their graduations?” I always liked to be the cute mom back in the day! It’s occurred to me as I age that sometimes the perspective of the mom who is trying to stay young and looking good is because we want our kids to be proud of their moms! But in fact, it isn’t the ‘how my mom looks’ perspective that makes our children proud of their parents! It’s the ‘heart and who are parents are and how we treat our kids and their friends and the integrity we have shown’ that really impresses our children and their friends! I was always the fun, laugh filled parent but I did tend to dress young because I always felt young. I didn’t dress anything like the description of the skank-ette mom described in this story but I bet at times I might have dressed in too little! Even now I have a difficult time dressing like an old person because my spirit is young still! I still laugh all the time and say “Yippieeee” and jump up and down when something wonderful happens!!! Not many women my age EVER do that! But I don’t care, I love feeling happy and am glad I am able to still jump up and down over joyful times! My husband sometimes has to tell me that my outfit is too young for my current age – so I have a really difficult time buying clothes that don’t make me feel ancient. So…in some tiny way I can sort of see how some mom’s might just think their kids would be proud if they still looked youthful and vibrant and in these mom’s way of thinking, they just might think their over tanned, skimpily dressed, voluptuous bodies look completely awesome and that their child and child’s friends will think WOW! Your mom is hot!!!!! The mom’s background also might be something where the one thing they feel they know how to do as a mom, is look good! Maybe the mom can’t cook, isn’t smart enough to help their child with their homework, is someone who can barely afford to buy their kids school clothes but they at least can still look good (in their skewed perception of what looks good) when they are there to represent their child at some achievement such as graduation. There’s a lot of perspectives out there we don’t know about. This woman you described… maybe this is the only way she knows how to be. I think I’m guilty of being the somewhat inappropriately dressed mom in my past! I used to walk daily and work out constantly and I was really proud of my cute little figure back then! When my son got married several years ago, my goal was to represent him well as mother of the groom and so I bought a killer, stunning, long navy blue dress with spaghetti straps and little sparkles all over the dress and it actually criss-crossed with ties up the back! It was probably one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn and I felt absolutely stunning and magical in it! But later, after showing the dress to my son and his future bride to make sure they approved, my son’s future wife said, “Your mom is going to look more beautiful than I am!” That was never my goal and she was breathtaking the day of their wedding but at that moment, I realized, I might have overdone my dress and it really was a much younger dress than the other mom of the bride and stepmom of the bride wore! I carried it off, but later thought….this dress was more like a bridesmaid dress or prom dress for a younger girl than a mother’s dress. Once also at a different time, my daughter had one of her male friends from school over to my house after I was divorced, well he openly flirted with me and my daughter was completely appalled and I’m sure it’s because I acted young and probably dressed to show off the figure I used to have! I, at the time, was flattered. But for my daughter it was a total “Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww mom!!!!!!!!!!!” moment! Now I even think “Ewwwwwwwwwwwww gross!” I don’t have a lot of really great mom qualities but I never had a role model to learn about being a healthy good mom, so I was on my own on how to be a great mom! I did the best that I could and I have two completely awesome children but looking back I know I probably dressed inappropriately and too young for my age back in the day when they were in high school. This topic hit a chord with me – gave me something to think about and I do feel badly if I ever embarrassed my own children. I have a feeling that the woman you described thought she looked amazing and I can’t help but feel kind of bad for her if she truly didn’t realize how much she mortified her daughter. If she honestly knew better, then shame on her. In her mind, she may have thought she was showing everybody how young and vital her daughter’s mom is!!!!!!! I’m just sayin’ everybody has a perspective on how they appear to the world and a lot of times our pasts reflect on how our present ends up being displayed to the world.

Sweetassgal, I am laughing so hard at this post! Trust me, in 18 years, you will not be "that" mom. You seem like one very classy lady. I wish I had had some "freak show" mom stories to share. My mom is a natural beauty and always dressed very modestly -- no tube tops and minis for her. Thank goodness! :)
As for sunscreen, I am currently using Alba 30 SPF for my body. Although, it is unscented. I wonder if the lavender scent is new? My tube is almost out, so I will be sure to check this out when I need to replenish.
Congratulations to you and your son! Ugh, I vow to never, ever dress like that. I'm 20 and I wouldn't even wear something like that to a club! I believe there is a fine line between classy/sexy and slutty/nasty, and it is not to be crossed!Great review - I am always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen. I have never, ever been able to tan. In fact, when I was younger and our family went to a hot, sunny place for vacation in the middle of the winter my mom, sister, and I would all break out into a terrible sun rash! It was awful at the time - but now I'm thankful because it kept me out of the sun and the tanning beds (for the most part at least) during high school while all of my friends were frying themselves. I learned the art of self tanner and now I use that and wear SPF every day! I hope that this keeps me from getting wrinkled for a long time!
My favorite sun block products are made by AVEENO. Their sun blocks are specially formulated with ingredients such as soy and anti-oxidants like vitamin E which I perceived as much healthier for my skin. I love the smell of the Aveeno products too and it absorbs so well into my skin and really seems to protect my face and body from the sun! I get the 30 sun block for my face alone but probably will go even higher this year! This lavender Alba Organics sun block you reviewed today sounds really wonderful and I will check our local co-op or Whole Foods to see if I can find it! A question I have had in the past and still am looking for an answer to is….How long do sunscreen products last before they expire? We have saved from year to year sun block products in our cupboard and bring them out again every summer – but there must be an expiration time frame! Someone once told me they are only good the year that you purchase them! Does anybody know the answer to this? Most of the containers I still have do not have any expiration date or even hint at when they should be abandoned!
Sweetassgal! Congratulations to your son on his graduation! I have no doubt that you were bursting with pride at his graduation and that he is thankful daily that YOU are his mom!!!!!!! Your writing constantly lets all of us know, how much integrity you have and enthusiasm for life and all it brings! You are undoubtedly a great role model to him! Your ability to literally make us ‘see’ through your descriptions of people was and always is exceptional! I was laughing as I read your article today and I cringed at that woman’s outfit! I know I might have seemed like I was defending that woman you described, she must have indeed looked completely disgusting and trashy, I wasn’t doing that, I just sometimes realize there is more to some people’s stories for how they present themselves than we can possibly know.
Jeanasina!http://blogette-jhasleftthebuilding.blogspot.com/orhttp://jhasleftthebuilding.blogspot.com/
jeanasina, I read that the shelf life for sunscreen is 2 years. After 2 years, the ingredients breakdown and they lose their maximum protection. Also, if your sunscreen is watery or has a bad smell, you should toss it.
Ok...here's my funny mom story. But its not about my mom because MY mother is a class act and would never do anything to willingly embarrass me. Anyway...MY HS grad and a friend of mine had a very, very pretty mother. Great body, gorgeous face, and she LOVED attention from the boys in our circle. She showed up to our OUTDOOR celebration in a sheer white dress with NO bra or underwear!!!!!!! Seriously...you could full on see nipple AND down south too. She was eating it up standing in the sun and watching our boys get all hot over her. I thought my friend was going to shrivel up and die!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
Congratulations to you, your son and the rest of your family! High school graduation is a major milestone and your son is lucky to have you and the rest of your family to get him successfully to this point. So many young people today are on the wrong track and I'm so happy for you that he is happy and healthy. God bless!I have really begun to enjoy and seek out organic products and food, but I haven't tried any organic sunscreen yet. Right now I am using Coppertone Nutrashield Faces with Dual Defense. It has 70+Spf broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and nourishing antioxidants to promote natural skin repair. For body I love Aveeno Active Naturals sunblock spray 45 SPF. I am very happy with both, but I enjoyed your review and will be sure to check out the organic versions next time I get a chance.

LOVE this stuff. It works really well. And I love the smell. Great review. Love this site!
I don't have any embarrasing mom stories. My mom is awesome and classy. I myself am part Native American and part Spanish, although I look like a straight up white women:P I usually don't ever burn, but I tan really nicely. I like to tan naturally though outdoors. And I don't do it everyday. During the summer I might lie out a couple of days a week. I never tan with a tanning bed though. So the majority of the year I'm white as white can be. And for a few short months I have a healthy glow! I haven't tried this sunscreen yet, but I'm a big fan of Alba products, especially their lipbalm.
My mom was the one making fun of the other moms (both frumpy & skanky)! This was a woman who never went out without flawless make up and perfectly done hair, always dressed expertly too (she despised Mom jeans) in cigarette leg trousers and nice blouses, I learned everything about fashion from her (okay Vogue helped a bit too). I miss her so much, she passed away about 5 years ago, & let me tell you I would give anything to have her embarrass me at my college graduation next year. That being said, I'll have fun imagining the things she would say.I *need* to try out this sunscreen, what are the active ingredients? And how strong is the fragrance, I'm not a fan of scented products.
I am so fortunate to have the parents I have. My mom, who is slim, tall, still has naturally black hair, and wears no makeup whatsoever, has never given me cause for grief (at least in the appearance department!). With her figure, she could easily wear more trendy clothing, but she serenely declines and sticks with her comfortable t-shirts and jeans. She knows when to dress up, though, too! I think home environment is so important to a girl's self-esteem. With two parents who are good-looking but never pay the slightest attention to their appearance or weight, I never realized how blessed I was until I learned that self-consciousness can be a learned behavior too, especially from mothers to daughters.
That said, I do have friends whose moms are the tabloid-reading, trend-chasing, juicy-gucci-lululemon types. These are the moms that participate in our gossip, friend us on facebook, and spend hours screaming with laughter on the phone when their daughter is trying to do homework. Now, there's nothing wrong with cool moms-- I know plenty. But when they act less mature than their daughters, that's just frightening. So I feel doubly blessed.I have so much trouble remembering to wear sunscreen on a regular basis. I don't even usually wear foundation, so I can't sneak it into my regime that way. Any ideas?
hachi-Glad that you're here. Give Aveeno's new tinted moisturizer with spf 30. It is light and nice. You may really like it.
Hey there...I've been researching the Aveeno...do you find it sparkly? People are complaining about it being glittery. I prefer a matte finish so I don't look oily but for the price I'm willing to try it.
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
Alabaster...I'm so sorry you lost your mom at such a young age. I lost my dad at 9 and I'm still not over it. But I'm happy to know you have such great memories of her. Cherish them...I know you do.Hachi...kellie76 gives good advice. For those who aren't used to SPF or foundation in a routine...and all in one like Aveeno is a great choice. God I love these women!!! How great are we!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
No I don't find it to be overly sparkly. It does have the light reflecting minerals. So I would say it gives you a slight glow or radiance. It is nothing dramatic though. I am a very oily person and would not be able to wear something that was too shiny or sparkly on my face.
Congratulations Sweetassgal! When a child makes it through high school I feel it is a special accomplishment for the entire family. My girls are still little but I can imagine that day will be here before I know it.I have such a hard time with sunscreen. I need to find one that I really love. Thanks for introducing this one to us. I KNOW you put a lot of effort and research into your reviews and let me tell you, it shows. You always deliver. ♥
This sounds like a great sunscreen. I really need a new all body one that I love.
I love the smell of Lavender
What a hoot- nip city baby! I'll be using that one. I live in Dallas after all!
When I saw the title of this post I almost fell over. LAVANDER scented sun screen?! OMG! What a WONDEFUL idea. I must find and purchase this!
www.JenniferSuarez.com
Thank goodness I don't have any stories of my mom causing me any mental scars. I do love to wear sunscreen because I tend to get sunburn on my nose and it begins to peel.
I have purchased this product at Whole Foods several times when it was on sale. I really, really like this product and the gentle aroma it leaves when I apply it. No more $30 sunscreens for me!
I have never heard of this brand, let alone this product before. Where did you find it?
I got it at Whole Foods but I've seen Alba at Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid and CVS. If all fails try online!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
I have been searching for all natural sunscreen for awhile now so I was excited when I read this.. but while I was on the Alba Botanica website I checked out the ingredients for this sunscreen and saw that it contains ingredients that are not natural. :( Here's the link: http://www.albabotanica.com/?id=72&pid=225
A BIG congratulations on your son's graduation. My sister is 5 yrs younger then me but she looks 10yrs older...tanning beds and a bevy of other things have put their mark on her. She is fast approaching the "Leather-Look". I really appreciate the info on the sun screen and I love lavender. I am all-in for organic products but sometimes the $$ really hits hard espically in these times. Thanks for the tip Our Skin is Worth every dollar! Huggs Lisa
this story was too funny, and i hope when i am old enough that i will always dress age appropriate. gals, please remember that your hands need spf too- we always forget that area of our body. but hands usually show a true age of the woman:)
i love this brand - they have great mineral eye shadow too

hey meg, so i bought it and i'm loving it so far! not greasy at all, my skin automatically absorbs which is a major plus not to mention the scent is light but lingers enough to make me smile everytime i catch a whiff.
http://manthatsfraiche.blogspot.com/
So glad you like it! Our sunboy needs his non-greasy SPF!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
yes i do! as i said before, the jo malone stuff is thee best! but at $75 a pop and the fact that it has been discontinued got me hunting for a new sunscreen and this one is great. it did get a little greasy on me because Atlanta is pretty humid but all i did was apply the tea tree water spray from lush beforehand and instead of rubbing that in then applying the alba i just let it sit on my skin, applied a tiny drop of the sunscreen and mixed the two together on my face, my skin is perfectly oil/shine free now and i love the light lavendar scent.
http://manthatsfraiche.blogspot.com/
I love all things Alba!
Congratulations to your son ! At my HS graduation i was soo excited ! :-).. Funny mom stories ? Well not a story per se ..Lol you see my mom is hot.. i don't mean average hot.. she looks like my sister. She has near perfect skin and works out every day so shes like 5'4 and 112 pounds... lol.. while not dressing over the top she has been known to pull off belly showing tops and mini skits with ease..Never did she dress inappropriately at any one of my functions but she always looks so damn good so classy and elegant and sexy ! lol .. it was hard for a plump oily 12 year old girl who never got any attention from the guys to see your mom walk in to pick you up and have all the guys rush to the window to see her as she walked by (still happens by the way). She's been known to wear shorts when i wear jeans and pull them off better that i can. One time my crush actually asked me why i couldn't dress more like her ! wtf ? i almos punched him!Anyway...i've grown since then and now i have my own sense of style. Sometimes like her but a lot of times not... and with my sense of self came the realization that my mom is my friend not my rival.. and not once can i remember her she ever trying to show me up or deny me the chance of looking glamorous... she gave everything she had to my sister and i and everything that was and is hers we could take without a problem any little trick she'd tell us.. she is totally selfless... i still remember how she ran around trying to have us look or best for our proms, first dates andgoodness knows what else.. for that she seems even more beautiful in my eyes.
organic sunscreen!!! that's a first for me, i don't think ive ever seen organic sunscreen around here, although i'm trying to find organic everything, which is really hard to find here. hence i've been ordering from the US whenever the currency is up!
My youtube: http://www.youtube.com/lilyscorner123My blog: http://lazyscorner.blogspot.com/
I hate buyig sunscreen. I admit I hardly ever use it...before you start yelling, I don't go out of my house all that often and I never bake in the sun. I have not found one sunscreen that doesn't clog my pores. I don't care if it says it wont...it always does!I recently tried Neutrogena 100+ spf (since I knew I would be outside that day...see, i'm still good) and at the end of the day, I saw this stuff had sunkin into my pores. I washed up and scrubbed really well, but when I was done I still saw the crap in my skin. I had to scrape it out. It was not a good experience. With the help of Megs makeup, I know I will one day find the perfect sunscreen at a price I can afford. Thanks ladies!

this looks really nice!
Looks great!
never heard of alba but looks great
i adore lavender, and i always wear SPF, so this is the perfect combo!
I did not know that Alba had a sunscreen and lavender?? Great, thank you for the information.
