CLAIROL'S NICE AND EASY WEEKLY COLORSEAL CONDITIONING GLOSS!

Katehrm777 here with more advice to help you tame your locks and manage your main! It always seems like we want most what we can’t have. I have probably permanently ruined my skin from countless hours of tanning while my best friend slathers on SPF 75 when venturing out because she doesn’t want to get “too dark”. I wear six inch heels and can barely walk while my 5’10” friend whose legs I would die for laments that she must always wear flats. Many friends have spent countless hours teasing, curling, spraying, and complaining that they just want a little more volume when the one thing I have ALWAYS longed for above all else stick straight, shiny, NORMAL hair . So when I saw I had received Clairol’s ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss Treatment for dramatically glossier, shinier hair I thought yes! Maybe I can be Demi Moore after all (AFTER intensive blow drying and straightening of course).
Clairol’s ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss claims to take over-processed colored hair and make your hair “healthy looking, long lasting and shiny.” I used about half the container on my head when trying to cover all my hair (but, as mentioned above and 7 million other times, I have very thick hair) and worked it through, letting it sit. I washed it out and blow dried and straightened it like always. The verdict? This is a very nice intensive moisturizing treatment that left my hair soft. However it was no softer or more manageable than any of my other intensive conditioners of choice and it did very little if anything for shine.
I will say that for you ladies who have dry hair that is also fine, I think this would be much better at not weighing your hair down than some of the other intensive conditioners on the market. As it was, it left me wanting my hair weighed down even MORE. And at $3.99 a pop you can’t beat the price!
So ladies, anyone else longing after what someone else got? If so, remember what the wise Kelly from the Real Housewives of NYC once said “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side…even if you have a lot of fertilizer!”

I've never been a Clairol fan and am currently addicted to the DHC After bath Oil for hair. I mix a little with my Curls Rock Amplifier, emulsify and press through my hair. It SUPER hydrates my curls, tames frizzies and flyaways and doesn't weigh down my hair AT ALL! It's about $12 a bottle but it lasts for months. Just two or three pumps each time I wash/condition my hair and its good to go. OH...and it dries without being crunchy!!!

Oh...and to mention the "thing" I wish I had that some of my friends have...SMALLER BOOBS! I was practically BORN with my double D's and I hate them. I can't wear cute tops, strapless, low cut or off the shoulder without looking like a tramp. Plus...when your boobs are this big you CAN'T go braless so if you try to do anything off the shoulder you are always fighting with the Iron Maiden for a strapless bra that you've got to corral your boobies into. Breathe much...not really! I hate them and if I wasn't so afraid of surgery I'd cut these sacks of fat RIGHT off my body. God giveth...and he just KEPT ON GIVING! Stop...just stop.

"hate them and if I wasn't so afraid of surgery I'd cut these sacks of fat RIGHT off my body. God giveth...and he just KEPT ON GIVING! Stop...just stop"You just made me spew OJ everywhere from laughing.I always complain about the same thing! Its not fair that I can put on the same shirt as someone with smaller breasts but I will look like a slut in it! It makes shopping really difficult....
beauty ticket.com has a $40 + bumble and bumble intensive conditioner for $13 right now, maybe that would be worth a try? I am enjoying the marco p leave in conditioner i won here at Megs, pearology leave in serum for hair and skin and Enjoy's shine and smooth that U can use on your skin too. Enjoy also makes a sulfate free shampoo w/ sensor that lathers until your hairs clean from build up then the lather dies down. I would love to have firm boobs and a flat stomach, no matter what I weigh, I look like I am "with child". Love to borrow a flat stomach for the rest of my life!
I haven’t specifically tried this product although I used to use Nice n’ Easy as my hair color of choice a few years back. I’m guessing the conditioner that came with it is either similar or the same. I must not have been particularly wow’d by it. However, don’t know if any of you are familiar with the website ‘Buzzillions.com’ or not, they provide billions of reviews on billions of things and, Clairol Nice'n Easy Colorseal Weekly Conditioning Gloss was rated #2 on that site which has reviews for 984 different conditioner brands which is astonishing! To be number #2 out of 984 conditioners sure indicates that a lot of people LOVE this product! This product had 55 reviews alone! I happened upon the ‘Buzzillions’ website awhile back when looking for a review for a birdhouse when I realized that just about everything you could ever want to purchase has been reviewed on this site, from Dog Food brands to Energy Star Appliances!
The one thing I wish I had that my friends have is a flat stomach!!!! That would be my number one thing that would make me feel like a million bucks! There will be no surgery to achieve this for me but, I sure do admire a nice flat stomachs on women! That is one feature that would make me feel really appealing! I am also deathly afraid of surgery. I even went to a surgeon once long ago to see what it would involve to get a flat stomach and remove the unsightly inner tube looking type appendages in my stomach area but this just wasn’t for me. I have this fantasy that the reason I don’t have a flat stomach is that some day, I’m going to be somewhere and a mad man with a gun staging a hold-up for money is going to be in the same place I happen to be and his bullet will go flying out of his gun and into my stomach and I will live because my stomach was able to keep the bullet from killing me because it’s always sticking out! LOL! That’s so whacked, but then again, so am I! Having two kids really did a number on my stomach and it never went back – it’s got a mind of its own and sometimes doesn’t even feel like it’s part of the rest of my body! I didn’t have a flat stomach even when I was young and to see so many girls now have such little bodies and flat stomachs – I wonder where they got these little flat stomached genes! They weren’t around when I was young! For years I have despised my stomach. I once saw a therapist and she told me to imagine being my stomach – the one part of my body I detest on a daily basis and imagine how sad and lonely my stomach is that it’s so unloved by me. That was a very emotional moment for me. I felt bad for my stomach and have tried to be kind and accepting of it ever since and on occasion remember to tell it - you are looking pretty good today. I realized it must have been lonely for my stomach to always be critized and talked down to. These days I know it's ok that it's not flat - it's mine and it's part of me. I guess a lot of people have things they wish were different on their bodies or envy on someone else! Now I think, "Thank God my body, including my stomach is healthy!" That was a good topic to bring up!

Different skin, please. Any color will do, as long as it's free of the eczema, keratosis pilaris and rosacea that I am constantly battling. And then I give myself a reality check and tell Princess Whiny Pants to knock it off. Life is good and my skin only represents the shell of who I am. The real me is all on the inside and that is where the true beauty lies. This Clairol Conditioning Gloss might be just what my very fine hair is asking for, especially for the price. Great job at reminding us what really matters Katehrm777. I ALWAYS enjoy your reviews, great information and perspective all in one serving. ♥
What brilliant for literally turning curly or wavey hair straight is phytodefrisant relaxing balm.

I've had really good results from this - but then my hair is fritzed and fried beyond belief. If I leave a little in, I find it controls the frizzies without feeling gunky....

What was I born with that I would gladly trade away? Shall we say "womanly" hips. My hips are much, much wider than my waist making my waist look itty bitty but my hips are huge for a woman with my upper body size. My husband claims they make me look "very feminine" but I just want to be able to wear skinny jeans. :(I had a lot of success with John Frieda's Clear Gloss when I have my hair colored. I put it on after a coloring to seal my color and it makes it last longer with a ton of shine. Not especially conditioning though.
I recived this in the package I got for trading in my 250 points (thank you Meg!!!! It's amazing!!!). I myself do not have colored hair however my mom does, I gave this to her and have been hearing rave reviews ever since.
this stuff just weighed my hair down and didn't add any shine. it actually seemed very dull. do not use if you have "normal" hair.
The only thing I have really tried from clairol is shampoo and conditioner. I'm usually pretty pleased with the products I use from them though. This sounds like something i would definitely try out sometime. I have volumized, sexy, bed hed curls on the good days, and on the bad, I look like Medusa who has been struck by lighting. Having curly hair is hard to manage. For those times I do straighten my hair, I like to have products that will assist me and make my job a little easier, and make my hair look a little better.
Not sure if I would try this after my experience with L'oreal color save shampoo and conditioner that left my hair oily. I think I have to stick with Pureology.
I been longing for shiny, glossy and bouncy hair.
I think I'll have to try this! My hair is in truly shocking condition.. and needs all the help it can get!
I like this. It really does work a charm on my naturally curly color treated hair. Makes it really shiney and I don't think/feel it weighs it down too much if at all.
My mom uses this and loves it!
I have been dying to try this. I think it is similar to the conditioners that they put in the box with your hair dye for aftercare. I always wished that would make a big bottle of that conditioner for sale!
I'm going to pick this product up today. I just ran out of my current conditioner. I am always looking for a great conditioner to deep condition my hair.
There are so many intensive treatments out there. This Clairol one seems as one that works fairly well but is certainly very affordable. I have tried the Aveda Damage Remedy and Dry Remedy Weekly intensive treatments and I have to say that I did notice a small difference but the high price did not make it worth it! Vicci13 mentioned that she found the Bumble & Bumble conditioner for $13 on beautyticket.com. I recently bought it and will be trying it out after my current weekly treatment runs out.
I have never tried Clairol hair products but I am def a lover of Dove and Pantene... Maybe i will still try!

I'm just sad I'm allergic to nice and easy hair dye. the colors are so nice... it's just a shame :S
Ah, Micky that is sad. Are you allergic to other brands, or just nice and easy?
I really love this product. It's absolutely amazing. It makes my hair so soft and shiny. It also makes it look SO healthy. I hate that the bottle is so tiny, though. It lasts maybe for only 4 treatments/conditions for me. I guess it's pretty inexpensive though, so I can always stock up.
I personally don't use this product because I love my natural color but family members swear by it!
I liked the Clairol conditioning gloss. It came in a box of hair color I purchased. It made my hair soft and smooth. Although, it could have been the hair color itself. I will continue to use it and see.*Edit*with continued use I have noticed my hair stays smoother. I can't say much about the health of my hair, because it has taken a beating in it's day.I believe it's the dimethicone that helps seal the cuticle for a smoother appearance. I would purchase this again. I would give it 4/5

SATIL- I am exactly the same my waist in teeny tiny (no matter how much weight I put on or lose it doesnt change!) but I have wide hips (made to look huge due to my tiny waist!) so out of proportion and so annoying! I think I would look slimmer with a bigger waist-sounds silly but my hips would look to fit me if my waist wasnt quite so small!I am not a fan of the colouseal gloss- i like it when i have dies my hair (but i use the whole tube in one!!!!) its not expensive, but it is when you use it all for one application! i also tried john freda colourseal gloss for brunettes which left my hair greasy and sticky- i was desperate to love it so i tried a few different applications (even shampooing after rinsing it out and it still always left my hair sticky and greasy!) any one else tried it and liked it?
I am using it and i love it !!!!
I have used this and it does not weigh down my hair, but it is not my fav.

i normally don't use conditioner, unless i go for a swim, then the chlorine makes my hair drier and ;askldjfadf.this might be a nice treatment for my split ends though...
xoxo
I have used this and I think it's a nice conditioner, but it did not make my hair shiny at all. I still love it because I love those intensive conditioning moisturizers...my hair really, really needs it.

I've never used any Clairol products. My favorite hair care treatments are by Fudge. Their 1shot+ and Dynamite are amazing.

i always go to clairol when dying my hair, and it always comes with this handy little conditioner. this stuff makes my hair so unbeliebably soft after this!
I've always wondered about these conditioners. Do they really work? Because I feel like I'm just slapping on huge amounts of fat.
Clairol always makes my hair very dry though...I usually just stick with Pantene and Jap. brands
Def want this! Nice article
i would really like to try this!

There are so many serums on this site for taming my wavy/curly hair that i dont know which one to pick haha =)
the only bad thing is that these things contain wax. wax can build up in the hair and make it look dull. that's why i stick to the salon conditioners.
I don't like using too many things for my hair as its very thin and everything weightsit down
