DEGREE FINE FRAGRANCES!

Hello out there! Vexy here, your Friday fragrance fiend, bringing you the best in sexy scents and scintillating smells! You know what I hate? Trying to find a deodorant that matches a certain perfume I'm going to wear. I mean, it's fine to wear the classic "spring fresh" deodorant or what have you if you're wearing a similar perfume, but do you really want that floral-fresh scent clashing with your oriental or spicy scents? Of course you don't! You'd smell like a fragrance train-wreck! For the longest time, I just tried to find scented deodorants that went along with certain fragrances (i.e.; Secret Vanilla Sparkle for Pink Sugar, etc.).
Leave it to the geniuses at Degree to address this problem! Not only have they put out three gorgeously scented deodorants, they've also put out a coordinating body mist for each of them! And let me tell you ladies, these aren't your normal drugstore one-note body mists: these are REAL FRAGRANCES with top notes, middle notes, and base notes- perfect for the recessionista who wants to smell fancy on a budget. Who wants to smell like your garden-variety deodorant when you can smell like Delicious Bliss, Sexy Intrigue, or Classic Romance?
I tried both the body mist and the deodorant in "Delicious Bliss", and let me tell you they are yummy! They're very fruity scents, wonderful for summer, with sparkling top notes of raspberry, apple, and peach, with gentle undertones of soft floral scents like hyacinth. I honestly felt like I was wearing a high-end perfume. I can be a little biased against drugstore scents, only because I've smelled so many people who douse themselves in Curve and think they smell great, but these totally won me over! My mom tried the Classic Romance, and said that everyone at her Sweet Adelines' rehearsal was telling her how great she smelled. And, of course, the deodorant works great: I wouldn't be raving otherwise, because stinky pits are a no-go on any budget! (Trust me: Florida humidity is the true test of any deodorant. Let's just say grocery shopping lines can be a liiiittle uncomfortable if someone's deodorant quits!)
The one tiny little caveat I have is the lasting power of the body mists. They only last a couple of hours on me, but that could just be my body chemistry. This honestly doesn't bother me that much, because they're so affordable and there's plenty in each bottle! Plus, even if I run out of body mist, I still have my deodorant to make me smell fantastic. Hmmm... think anyone will notice if I put the deodorant on my wrists too?
I wholeheartedly recommend these, both as deodorants and as body mists. They're budget-friendly, innovative, and most importantly- they smell great!
What about you? Have any of you ladies coordinated your deodorant to your perfume with the Degree Fine Fragrance Collection?

I always wished companies would coordinate scents better! I hate the fact that my shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, lotion, sprays & perfumes all smell different! I am definately going to check these out!
Ugh, me too. The biggest trick for getting perfume to last longer is to wear lotions and such that have the same scent. Unfortunately, I can't exactly afford to shell out forty dollars or so on designer lotion! I usually go for unscented lotion (Aveeno is my HERO for this) and try to coordinate deodorant as best I can. My trick for shampoo/conditioner: If your shamp/cond don't leave a lingering scent in your hair after it tries, try putting a spritz or two of perfume on your brush and brush it through your hair. Voila- perfectly coordinated hair-scent!
Vexy-girl,you have me intrigued and excited now! I have always been an "unscented" deoderant person because God knows what scent I'll want to wear and have actually never given any thought to products such as you describe so wonderfully! :)I NEED to try these asap: my trainer is 6'3" of gorgeous man (I think of his as a lil' bro, seriously,LOL!)and I'm always concerned if I'm "smelling okay" while he's tormenting me into shape (he's old school and TOUGH!)Going to make a run in the am and will probably get at least a couple to try, they'll be perfect for working out and the sweltering Summer to come!Hugs and thanks for the killer report!
No wonder you look so gorgeous, girl! You keep fit! I think everyone worries if they're smelling okay at the gym. It's kind of the place where I give everyone a free pass, because hey, you're working out. You're going to smell like sweat. The Degree deodorant held up while hiking in 93-degree weather, though, so I wouldn't worry too much! (Plus- the spritzes are small enough for your gym bag!)
I am so glad you brought this up. These new products from Degree caught my attention the last time I purchased deodorant and I almost bought one of the sets. (Wish I would have now!) Love the idea and love your take on it, great job. Vexy, I wholeheartedly agree, if the pits aren't fresh, not too much else matters as far as scents go. (;
I can't tell you how many times I've wondered if people even USE deodorant in the checkout lines and stuff. It makes me want to take out my little travel deodorant I keep in my purse (always good to be prepared, right?) and go, "Here, use this. Everyone around you will be much happier."
They sound amazing. I always get the 'unscented' stuff or anything vanilla... I usually blends with my Lavanilla purfume...
Oooh, which Lavanilla do you use? I like the Vanilla Lavender they just came out with. I've found Secret Vanilla Sparkle is good for blending with that.
I went out and bought the Classic Romance deodorant and spray after reading Vexy's review. The scent is very nice and a major improvement over other scented deodorants, I think. The spray has almost no staying power on me, but I am using it as a room spray. I like them both, but it will be difficult to stay away from my usual Dove Ultimate powder fresh. I am a sucker for their marketing campaign that says it keeps underarm skin smooth and soft.

I went deodorant shopping earlier today. I smelled these new degree deodorants and body mists. They smelled great, but I got another kind of deodorant. I really wish I would have tried these though.
I like Degree. So I am guessing that I would enjoy a matching body spray. I like body sprays a lot. I like them precisely because they are not heavy. This is nice in the summer and when I am too liberal with my spraying. I think that I will pick one of these lovely pairs up for my summer vacation. I am sure that they are exactly in my price point.LOL. Thanks Vex!
I agree its a brilliant Idea. I always wear the baby powder scent boring lol!, but I need to try this, next paycheck I will most likely purchase all 3 yea crazy I know lol...

I like the idea of this and will give it a shot. I usually layer my scented items, and it works pretty well, using mostly unscented antiperspirant, but, I do like the idea as I said. And I think my preteen will as well.
i want feminine deodorants to be as strong as men's - all the ones i get from the women's aisle always disappoint me

i personnaly would rather wear my perfume and have my deodorant unscented. but i am a perfume junkie :)
I receive this one as a free gift with deodorant purchase. I like it.
to me, this stuff still smells like deodorant. I try to buy mine unscented so I can wear perfume.
i like how deodorant companies are now coming up with matching perfume/body mists. it's pretty annoying trying to pair your perfume with your deodorant because you don't want scents clashing. just imagine the thousands of scent combinations! i will have to check these degree body mists when i go to the store this weekend to see if any are to my liking.

haha i agree, it sucks to have your deodorant clashing with your perfume. ruins both! so i just use the type of deodorant that's scentless. it solves a lot of problems :) including spending too much money!

I love the this deodorant and perfume match. I definitely agree! They smell wonderful and they are very affordable!
Degree is being smart. That's a great move by them. I want to try some of the sexy intrigue now.
the product sounds amazing. i am very impressed by this product. i never wore perfume before so i never had this problem, but i really want to buy some. so this is a wonderful and affordable solution. :) thanks for posting! its great to hear from someone who has used the product. the scents sounds amazing :)
Finally!!!! This is such a great idea I'm quite surprised that it hasn't been done until now. But better late than never! I switch up my deodorants every few months, but Degree is one brand I keep on my roster...and these are wonderful...they smell great, work great, and the body mists are yummy! They may not last too long (the body mists) but for the price you can just re-spritz and you're good to go! ♥

What a smart idea. I probably won't get it, but still...:)

ooh this is great (:Personally, I've never been a huge fan of degree. Their deoderants don't work well, and they usually smelled so.. deoderant-y after a day. Makes my clothes smell :\
