Word of the day (remember Pee Wee's Playhouse?) everyone make noise! RELAUNCH!! How does the dictionary define our word of the day? Relaunch: to reintroduce a product or brand to the market after changes or improvements have been made. Part of Speech: verb, noun How does Meg define Relaunch? Relaunch is to incorporate all the great ideas that have ever been suggested. Then I really nicely asked LAFred to help me build it.
After so many thoughts and dreams and prescriptions filled... I bring you the new and improved - Megsmakeup.com!
Don't get overwhelmed! This isn't like the time your mother turned 55 and then dad asked for a divorce and then married your babysitter (oh wait, was that an LA reference?).
Our site is still the same mother, we have all the wisdom, we just went in for a quick nip and tuck.
What did we have injected into our marionette lines? A chat forum! Yes, now whenever you get the itch to share an amazing deal or product or joke we have an actual forum!
While we were being lasered another idea came into mind. Life isn't black or white. Why are our reviews either "Yes" or "No". What if I kind-of liked it? It wouldn't be my first choice but it's not a dud product. Would I raise a flute of champagne to this item? Would I raise 3.5 flutes? See where I'm going here. We are now so precise!
When the lipo machine was being hooked up we had the mother of all thoughts! MAKE-UP POINTS! Why shouldn't we reward loyalty? In this day and age WE MUST REWARD LOYALTY! How can I show you how much you mean to me? How about I send you cool gifts? Really. It's an awesome free program and Everyone wins them. Everyone earns them just for doing the stuff you already do. It's probably my most favorite new feature! I have always felt better giving even more then receiving and all of you readers have given me so much. It'll make my day when I drop a new item into an envelope knowing the smile it's going to bring to your beautiful faces! Make sure you go to your profile and put in your birthday 5 points for that! Happy Birthday!
Just click on "What Are Makeup Points" on the right and also the Rewards Button. They really dig into what I'm talking about. See this new great picture? It's called an "Affiliate Link". If you add it to your social networks (facebook, email signage, myspace) we track how many people come from your personal referral and you're automatically earning points without any hardwork!
All posts now have a ShareThis popup. If you like what you've just read-Share the Knowledge! You can easily add a link to any review you like to your other social networks. Make-up Junkies-THIS PROGRAM IS A MUST! There is a whole bunch of fabulous new features and I want you to play around!

I'm pretty new to this site but I was hoping someone had some info on Latisse. I saw an ad for it recently. It is by prescription only and I wondered if it was even worth the trouble of asking my Dr. about it. I have horrible lashes at this point and am looking for a possible miracle cure.

Check out Revitalash reviews on here. I know there is an ad but this is totally true, I had to trim my eyelashes with scissors because they kept hitting my eyeglasses glass. Put the word "Revitalash" in our search bar and you can see what lots of readers say. I think most people love it ! Check it out and let me know what you think.
Meg, when you say you're doing a relaunch, you aren't kidding--I love it! What cool features! I thought you couldn't improve on what you had, but you did. This is not good for my "Meg's Makeup Addiction." Our two-month-old computer crashed and burned last week, and I started to have withdrawal from your site. First I noticed that my hands were unsteady; my eyes began to twitch, arms jerked at odd times, and I sweat profusely at night (I am so tired of making my husband change linens). In order to get my "fix," I am now at a local business and the owner is timing me in fifteen-minute increments as I work on his computer, charging me accordingly. He's eyeing me and doesn't look very friendly. Wait--Guido (real name) is giving me the "evil eye" and I think my time is nearing its end. I think we'll have a rental tomorrow. Whew--it was worth it. I won't hold this against you because I can now SEE the site. Kudos and God Bless!
I'm so happy the site is back up! I kept checking everyday thinking "Maybe today is the day!", and then getting disappointed. I'm looking forward to checking out all of the new features :)

I am so happy for MEG on this next level of tech and all the new people that signed up for megsmakeup.com today. This has been the most exciting day for megsmakeup.com that I have witnessed since the Tinge "Razor" story contest. I welcome all the newbies and I want to brace them for a new take on makeup and other product reviews in the snarky world of megsmakeup. We are going to have so much fun and I am also, so excited about the new point systems. I think I even get one point for writing this. So all you lurkers, now a reason to chime in, prizes... :-) LAfred did a great job and I am going to have so much fun writing about things like Diva Cups.
Fan-freakin-tastic site! Meg your hard work has paid off! Lafred, you are awesome! All of the same heart and soul as before with super upgraded features, love that! I am relieved, I was suffering from major Meg's Makeup withdrawal. I found myself staring at my laptop, with fingers at the ready and nowhere to search. So sad then, but HAPPY now! I especially like the idea of a Meg's Makeup Mafia, it has a nice ring to it......

I am very excited about tonight.... it's been such a long road to get here... but this road seems to keep going and going and going and going.... 2nite will be a fun time. I just wish all the writers and devoted fans could be here, for sure they are in spirit.
I never heard anything about a relaunch, so when I went to megs and it wasn't there, I nearly fell out of my chair screaming "NOOOO!!!!" I'm so glad you're back! I LOVE the new design. It's fantastic! I like being able to look back at past posts and see the little message that says, "new comment!" My one complaint about the comment system is that they are not in chronological order! They're all scrambled up (not really on this post, but on others). When I'm reading down the page, someone will reference a comment that I haven't gotten to yet. At first I thought I was crazy, but I've checked several posts several different times in varying stages of awake-ness (college student and sometimes too tired to see straight!) and I'm pretty sure I'm not hallucinating. :)Anyway, I'm super excited about all the new changes and I'm looking forward to exploring the new site and checking out all the shiny new baubles we get to play with. A toast to the new megsmakeup! Cheers.
I am so pleased with the work that you have done with this relaunch Meg. Major kudos to you! I have been advocating for a very long time to see an open chat feature on this site. I am always wanting to ask questions. This relaunch offers this option and so much more. This is the best site of it's kind out there. I already loved it here. But it has now surpassed perfection. Great job! Thank you!
