ORGANIC APOTEKE\'S FACE MASK!
Hi Lovelies! Sweetassgal Hello lovelies! Sweetassgal here to let you guys in on a really great skin care secret...what you put on your skin really matters! Okay, so no shocker there but stop for a minute and think about that. We can take medicine through dermal patches on our skin which shows how we absorb all things placed on it into our bodies and into our organs. What we put on our skin and how we treat it makes all the difference. You wouldn't drink harmful chemicals or pollutants so why would you ingest them through your skin in products that are supposed to beautify? Unfortunately most skin care products are laden with them and others just pretend to be natural and organic with cleaver packaging and marketing. There is no law against using the words on packaging so its buyer beware. Unless of course its Certified Organic just like Organic Apoteke's Detox Face Mask and skin care line!
Organic Apoteke's Detox Face Mask is a specially formulated clarifying mask that boosts microcirculation. This quality delivers incredients to your skin at a cellular level, increasing nurishment and oxygenation of the skin. This causes what they affectionately call "beauty blush" or a flushing of the skin which signifies the increased circulation and stimulation of your cells. As a result cellular waste is carried away from the skin and you are left with a glowing complexion that is balanced and oil production is reduced.
After first use I found my skin to be refreshed and invigorated but I did not experience the "beauty blush"...mostly because I always look like I'm blushing anyway. But Organic Apoteke says that's okay and that the effects are still being absorbed into the skin. The mask is to be applied heavily and left on for a rather long 15 to 20 minutes. I felt the green clay and sea mud working almost immediately and liked the light scent. Since it was going to be a 15 minute treatment I chose to put it on in the tub and just relax. I don't have a lot of time for that lately so working it into a regular schedule weekly might be difficult but possibly totally worth it. Eminece Organics has a 5 minute mask I love too that really leaves my skin soft so the Organic Apoteke has its work cut out if I'm going to bump my facial time up right now. Bath time over my skin looked great but not any better than the other mask products I've tried...until the next day.
Waking up the morning after I noticed my skin was still as soft and dewey as the evening before with one noticible difference...there were approximately four white heads on my skin, chin and nose. Most notably was the one on my chin. The day before it was one of those "underground volcano" kind of zits that sits angrily below the surface waiting to erupt at the worst possible time leaving the area red, swollen and painful. Today, post Organic Apoteke, the knot was completely reduced and just a small white head was left behind. The mask had managed to completely draw out all of my skins impurities and allow me to remove the white heads with little to no damage to my skin. I've never had a mask do that before. Most people might think it caused the pimples but it didn't. I could feel them lingering below the surface (which entices me to want to "pick" at them and end up bruising my skin) and the mask simply brought them out gently with no redness. I love this. Its a way to bring out the pimple quickly before it gets worse and end the problem within just one day. Day two the small cap of the removed white head fell off and I was completely pimple free and left with no extra redness on my skin. That's a perfect win for me!
Their website recommends the mask for overnight spot clearing of pimples and reviews abound online about how great others think the mask is. Since all of us Megettes received the mask I'm dying to hear what the others thought and if they had similar positive results. I'm also dying to try the Rejuvenating Eye Cream because every review I've read gave it a perfect 10 and everyone says its the best eye serum to address dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and properly balance your moisture level all in one product. Sign me up Organic Apoteke!!!! GLAM ON!!!!

I have tried this mask 4 times, each time using it a little different, and can say I like this product. The first time, I followed directions to the letter and found it was too drying. The next two times I cut down the time I left it on and that really helped. The fourth time, I put the mask on after using my favorite Joining of Herbs toner and over a Sulwhasoo moisturizer. I left it on 10 minutes and loved the results. I found using the moisturizer under the mask helped with the drying I felt the first time. I do have very dry skin to begin with so that does make a difference. I recommend this product especially to those with oily or acne prone skin.

I have tried this detoxing face mask mask twice now with good results! From what I read this mask is really recommended for blemish-prone skin which is the one thing I don’t have so I’m not the best infomercial person to spout results of what it can do in that arena. As far as using it on my own skin currently, what I noticed is that my face felt a little tighter, a little softer and definitely a bit smoother and almost had a glow to it when I finished washing it off so I know the product is doing something to my skin! This morning I put some of the mask on one of my elderly hands and not on the other for a test. When I got to work I began singing a familiar song to a friend ...”One of these hands is not like the other...one of these hands just doesn’t belong...can you tell which hand is not like the other by the time I finish my song!”...I then asked the friend to touch my hands and tell me if she could tell any difference (this is after one use of leaving it on approximately 20 minutes) and after some hesitation she picked the hand I USED THE MASK ON and said it felt like the skin was tighter and that was without any coaching from the studio audience (me)! I read the little side note about the product that said to apply a dab of Detox Face Mask as a night-time spot treatment on blemishes! I definitely am going to try that on myself and on my man when the next dastardly boil like fissure attempts to make its way from underneath our skin to blatantly display itself for all to see! That’s just not right when that happens! When that happens I’m going to put a dab of this mask on the offending pimple and shake my fist at it and say “You’re going down baby!” and see if the mask will really work its magic! If it does help with acne...I’ll be back to boast of its healing properties further!

This product has been addeed to my "Holy Grail" lost because I just think it's THAT good! Clean and lovely scent,product has a creamy and smooth texture and stays where it's put...what I love about it is that is does really smooth "stuff" away,draw out those little bumps, and leaves my skin much more even-toned.IDO get a bit of a blush after and even the next day! I just wake up looking like I've had a facial and my husband always comments...I want a larger size jar of this,LOL! I truly think it's the best "organic" skin care product I have ever used and that's saying a lot! I use it in the tub sometimes as well,letting it sink in then I just rinse what's left...I've been waiting for this review and it's worth the anticipation,this is one of THE best natural products ever IMO and I'm so glad y'all like it as well!
Just a note...I've used this mask two times since my initial review and had no more whitehead's appear. Just soft and smooth skin. Looks likethe mask brought them all out the first time!!!

Just checking back in to let everyone know this stuff is hands down THE BEST mask I have ever used for reducing pimples on the spot. I had a nasty little cluster on my cheek yesterday. The kind that is hard under the surface and won't come up. I went straight home...did the mask...and voila...immediately reduced. Woke up this morning...practically gone. I WILL NEVER be without this stuff again.

I bought this and I really really like it. The first time I used it, my skin was blotch and irritated (but I'd exfoliated too much before using this). I used it for the second time last night and it BURNED. But it was a good burn, like it was burning away all the impurities and little nasties in my skin. I rinsed it off and wow. My skin looked tight and I was glowy! Just so you know, I don't glow - I shine. With oil. But after using this, I looked like someone who had just slept for ten hours and then had amazing sex. My skin felt soft and smooth. And did I mention glowy? I did? Well I'll say it again then. This is an amazing product. I'm definitely pleased.
sweetassgal this stuff sounds so amazing. Thanks for the review and also the update. I am really into masks...sometimes a little too into them. Like last week I think I did one a night. A different type each night, I love to experiment. This one sounds like an answer to a lot of problems. Thanks again!
