URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION IN SIN!
Meg here! Much thanks go to Badgirl from the alter of the house we worship at...Urban Decay.
I don't want there to be a revolt and try not to be too jealous of me. I share, I swear. However I was only sent one. Don't be mad. I was greedy. I kept it. I dare you, what would you have done?
At the bottom of my Urban Decay pack of cream eyeshadows to send out there it was..It was by itself, I was alone, no one saw me but I grabbed it and ran to the mirror.
Could it be? The cult favorite AMAZING PRIMER POTION IN COLOR!?
Not only have they taken the Holy Grail product but combined it with a universally flattering champagne toned color. It works with any eyeshadow color your sporting and can also be worn alone! The shade is Sin and I can see why. It's going to provoke others to have the Seven Deadly ones on you when you're sporting this baby! Jealousy, greed, I was powerless to the bottle!
This stuff get an uber Meg seal of super approval!
Why don't more companies mix in the primer with their eye shadows? I mean who doesn't want long-wearing? Ab Fab says it best "Sin is in sweetie!" I do love an over-the-top sinner. I only watch Gossip Girl for Blair. Good girl Serena bores me to tears! It's terrible but I also Love Mommy Dearest, I'm not for beating children but, c'mon Cristina darling was a little annoying. When Norma Desmond shoots Joe Gillis for not returning her love I cheered!
There are no good girls gone wrong, just bad girls found out-Mae West
Have any of you ladies turned to Sin?

I just ordered mine from Sephora online, should be here in a week. I can't wait to try it! THe UDPP has really revolutionized eyeshadow for me. I used to smear on some eyeshadow, never got it to blend well, always had fade-out by lunch and was just not sold on eyeshadow. Once I started using UDPP,eyeshadow is my new go to for glamour!
Wooohooo! Like I said in a previous post, last week I FINALLY bought the original primer potion and I am seriously in love with it. I have been wanting to purchase it forever and I'm so glad I did - but now I wish I would have bought this version! It sounds fabulous for those days when you just want a little shimmer without having to put together a perfect eye look. Dying. To. Try. !! This product is serioulsy amazing in so many ways.
Ohhhh, I am going to have to try this one, I love the primer potion without color...how exciting to try it with color!! :)
I'll have to tell my friend Ruth about this. I bought her UD shadows for Christmas and she's in need of the primer. I'll let you know if she gets it and likes it. Sounds fab to me!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
I *just* flipped through my new Sephora catalog and saw this and thought, "Uh Oh, everyone is going to go crazy over this!". I guess I was right! My birthday is next week, so I'm going to try to give some hints to the fam that this would be a great present ;)
I bought it. I tried it. I love it! In the words of Kelly Le Brock, who made us all hate her for cooing, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful," I live in NYC, where there are almost as many Sephoras as there are Starbucks. Almost. I had to try three before I hit the one that stocked it, but now it is mineminemine. Yum.
Hey Meg, "No more wire hangers!" It sounds like the new Holy Grail, but I am sitting here wondering, could it have too much sparkle? I am filled with shame even suggesting the possibility of any undesirable traits, but I had to ask. Another great eye shadow primer is Disguise for Eyes by Alexandra deMarkoff. Costs a bit more but lasts forever. It provides a long lasting base and evens out minor eyelid discoloration and imperfections. Great for those days when you want to go natural without going natural. An ideal alternative for any makeup cache. Mjsred, love your anon. quote, maybe we could get t-shirts made.
With so many possitive reviews I'm afraid I have to be the rotton apple--I have oily skin. To. The. Max. It has gotten worse being out on the east coast, I tried UDPP's before but stuff still slid off my face...I wish it would work and it will at times do the trick, but only for about three or four hours. Just a warning to all the other oily's out there! I suppose once my skin gets under control (hah!) I shall try it again.
Damn you Meg!!! Now I shall have to trek 25 miles one way in the am in order to SCORE some of this!!! If one could imporve on perfection,it sounds like "Sin" will do us all in! Thanks for the errand,LOLROF! I would have snagged it for myself as well..."'Tis far better to repent a sin than to regret the loss of a pleasure" Anon.(and also on the headboard of my bed. :)Sounds like I will have yet one more "Sin" to consider...I LOVE UD!!!
Another fabulous product from Urban Decay! The shimmery champagne color is very nice on its own, but I prefer to layer a UD shadow (my current favorite is Toasted) on top of it. It lasts all day with no creasing or caking.
Got this product at my last trip to Sephora and this is another great UD product. Love that is has color, on light days I just apply this and mascara and I'm good to go. Two thumbs up! YAY!
I too have very oily skin like Calico. I wonder if this would be a problem for me and the primer? Does anyone else have an opinion?
I really liked the regular UDPP.I wonder how it would work on a NW 45 skin tone!
I want to try this. I already own the original Urban Decay Primer Potion I love it.
This stuff is the best ever! It has a great shimmer and can be worn alone or underneath eyeshadows. DOES NOT CREASE!!
I already love the original UDPP so I think I'd love this too! I like how you can just wear it naked or layered with shadow.
Just like the original UDPP, this is perrrfect. Obviously the annoying thing about UDPP is the style of the bottle meaning you have to saw the bottle in half to get all the product out D: but still, I think it's worth it.To be entirely honest I prefer using the original, colourless UDPP but I always use Sin when I do gold/bronze/brown/any warm toned eyeshadow looks.
This is awesome in the original, but the shimmer in the Sin version is maybe not so kind to the over-40 eyelid. Just sayin'.
I think a lot of companies don't add primer to their shadows because it can make them a little harder to blend. I could just kick UD in the butt for not fixing the packaging issues with their primer potions by now! I loooooove this products....champagne is the sexiest color any ethnicity could ever put on their face!!!
though i think it's great, i think it's such a hassle to cut it up and make sure you can use all the products, i'd rather it came in a jar

I've never used the UDPP. I know, I know...what rock did I crawl out from under? LOL! I'm going to hop over to Sephora and pick up a tube/bottle of this in Sin. It looks amazing.
This is incredible. I am with you, why don't more people mix the primer with the shadow. I loved the original and love the Sin.
I love Urban Decay's eye primers, they work great and keep my eyeshadow in place until I'm ready to remove it.
I got a sample of this when I bought the UD Get Baked pallette. I LOVE IT!! Did I say that loud enough...I LOVE IT! I have used the original UDPP for a while now and it's my absolute fave! Now I am hooked on this! Could this be my new fave? I think so!
A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.

I had sample, love the shimmer, no creasing. It is great.
I just purchased the primer potion (original) and I was going to get this one as well and decided to wait because I wanted to make sure i liked it first.. now i really wish i got this one too!!
My primer potion (original) arrived yesterday and I put it on today for the first time. WHAT a difference it makes!! That's all I can say. Wow, my eyeshadow's color is even more intense and it lasts all day, without touching it up. I'm totally impressed!!

MakeupREre says : I loooooove this products....champagne is the sexiest color any ethnicity could ever put on their face!!!and I totally agree with that even the name of "champagne" is lovely...

I felt like it was too shimmery. But other than that, it was a good product as my eye makeup did not smear.
I can't blame you for snagging that little baby all for yourself...I know I would have. I love that it's shimmery so it can be worn alone.

i have the original and i really don't like it but sin is my favourite ud colour ever. Hmm. This colour looks similar to bare study pp which is so pretty. This hasn't hit the shelves in the uk yet but i may have a swatch or three when it does.
I am definitely buying this after my tube of regular UDPP runs out!
What a lovely color! :)
I love this! I have both this and the original, I use this on lazy days to save a step. It creases a little more than the original, but still lasts a pretty long time.
I received a sample of this with the Get Baked kit and it is quite amazing! I use this, the original and tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Honestly the Urban Decay primers win hands down for me and my eye lids, and I love the subtle color of this primer. I still with they would change the bottle though. Cutting it open for product stinks.
If you want to get all the product out, and avoid cutting it in half, you can take the plastic stopper out. All you need to do is to take some tweezers and pull it out. It's clean and simple, unlike cutting it in half.I just wanted to say that Sin is my absolute favorite eyeshadow color. If I don't have much time, I'll simply do a wash of this lovely champagne color. It complements my skin tone, and makes my eyes look bright and awake. This new primer saves me from doing two steps. UD totally rocks!!!
I've heard sooo many goodies about UD primers, I'm not a priming person as i don't usually have nearly enough time to apply make up and eat breakfast in the morning... but i think this would be fab for parties/clubbing. again i wish we had UD here :(

This primer works great but packaging sucks.
This is the most awesome product ever!! I got it as a sample with the Baked Eyeshadow Palette. I used it all up and had to buy myself a big one. I wear it all the way to my brow bone then I put on whatever eyeshadow from the Book of Shadows II that I feel like for the day.

I am now the proud owner of a full bottle of Sin thanks to a swap and HAD to comment on it! I honestly didn't think I could love anything more than the regular UDPP, but low and behold.. I have a new HG primer. My new love is Sin all over my lid up to the browbone with NYX loose shadows on top. It emphasizes the pearl factor of the e/s to the nth degree and makes for some really dramatic looks. It's also amazing just by itself with a liner. It's so incredibly glam I can't get over it.The one thing I notice is that the residue that gets on the sides of the stopper seems to dry up more than with the regular UDPP.. although with the regular one I have the old wand that isn't bent. The new wand makes a LOT of product come up. What I do, to minimize waste, is to run my finger along the stem of the wand itself instead of using the applicator. There is PLENTY of product on the stem to cover both eyes two times over!
I have never tried Primer Potion. After reading many reviews about the packaging I made the decision to get Too Faced Shadow Insurance instead. I have been happy with it and have no complaints, am on my second tube and will repurchase when it is empty. However, I do think Sin looks like a very pretty neutral colour. Don't know if I will try it though. I heard they changed the packaging on the original, I wonder if they will change this one too.
I got a sample of this from ulta and love it! Like everyone else said it works great and makes your shadow last all day!
cuuute color.
OhhhhI have this one on my vanity and it's a GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT Investment !!!I LOVEEEE Urban Decay and this Potion is really magic :D
Amy , Big kisses from Paris!
I haven't tried it, but it looks great!
Nope, I haven't tried it, but it looks really cool
Ooooh, i want! Also i'm in total agreement with you about Christina Crawford, i felt sorry for Joan in that film!
I got a little sample size of Sin with my Get Baked palette and I just can't bring myself to use it as a lid primer. It's SO metallic and just too pornstar-ish for me. I've tried it on the lid once and had no complaints, but I'll stick with the regular UDPP :)
I love the regular UDPP, but I've never tried it in Sin. I really want to try it to see if the color would work well for me as a combo primer/base in one. It would save me some time in the morning if I didn't have to apply a base or all-over color.
Wow! I love this makeup without ever having tried it. I want this primer potion! ;-)The color is beautiful!
another urban decay product. : )I used to use makeup without any sort of primer and I would wonder why the makeup seemed so bad.Maybe it's time that I start using primers and since this is from urban decay, I shouldn't get disappointed with the results. : )but then again, i shouldn't expect too much at the same time. thanks for the post! : )
