BEAUTE LIPGLOSS!
Goddess Granny here! Do you remember the very first product that you ever bought on your own?For me it was a Bonnie Bell Lip Smacker colored pale-green that morphed to beige on the lips and I was SO thrilled to have one back then! Since then,I think I've put just about every color, scent, texture, and taste of lip-product on my lips that has ever been created with some satisfaction each time,LOL! I love lip-glip in all it's incarnations!
Lipgloss...it's as routine as brushing one's teeth for all of us I'd be willing to bet: it's the first product my 11yr. old grandaughter snags from my purse when I visit and it's the last thing I put on at night and yes,I do wear lipgloss to bed. The stuff comes in every concievable color and price range and can be had by all...but just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any better?
Beaute Cosmetics Lipgloss pops into my life in "Paramour", a dusty-rose with a hint of gold that countours and adds more shine and plumping-lushness than I have ever gotten from a lipgloss,I kid you not!Left me with one of the prettiest and most glam-wearable lip looks I have worn in a LONG time! Pretty and doable enough for everyday but with that "wow factor" that just reeks of the good life and a personal makeup artist at your disposal...I cam't rave enough about the lip products in this line: Beau and his cosmetics line are destined for greatness, plain and simple!
His philosophy and attention to detail and quality in each of his carefully-crafted products is the stuff of makeup dreams...go to the siteand check out the "how to videos" and read a bit about the man behind the exqusite products: I was impressed and believe you will be as well!
I have always thought I "needed" a lip-pencil to perfect my lipline at "this age" but after watching Beau's video on how to apply his glosses,I am now sporting another "new to me and oh so exciting" look of just gloss withoutany pencil, applied in the unique way he shows on the site!
Even my husband commented on how "sexy" my lipgloss looked and several people over the Holidays asked what I was using/how fresh my makeup looked...score!!! Lip pencils are currently tossed in a drawer for now, try out Beau's method and you'll be amazed at how incredible and plush your lips can also look without any extra pencil definition as well! The shades are about as perfect as you could wish for and they honestly ARE different in texture than others.Sleek and weighty in the hand, the packaging and quality are so far above it's criminal and wonderful!
Again,I want more of these asap and strongly suggest you try one and see for yourself...whether you wear it to bed or not is up to you,LOL!
My heart and lips belong to Beau these days...this is so not "just another lipgloss",it's the queen of all I've tried!
Seriously, check out the how-to's on Beau's site! What did you ladies think of your glosses and what color did you try?

Unfortunately, I did not have such a good experience with Beaute. I tried the gloss out in Cobra. While I liked the texture and the fact that it was non-sticky, the shade was far too opaque for a bronze. It didn't layer well over stains or lipsticks, and made my lips look strange. Maybe I'll try it again at some point, but it wasn't a go for me.
I wonder if the color had something to do with the gloss because I received Paramourtoo and absolutely loved the color. Not too girlie pink...not to old lady mauve. The flecks of gold in it really picked up well in the light and gave it a lovelyshimmer without being overly glitzy. I'll have to check out the website to seehow to use in in replacement of lipliner because I definitely still needed it.My lips are fairly thin and though I loved the color without a little liner it disappeared into my face too much. Just a bit of liner to define and I reallyliked the gloss. I agree that the scent is a little plastic smelling but thegloss is a bit heavier than most (which I like) without being sticky. I need to"feel" the gloss on my lips or I think I need constant reapplication. I also received the stain and went WAY overboard the first time. Had to retest againlater. My stain was a dark blood red and incredibly sexy. Just a little stainwith a swipe of clear gloss (not too much...just a dab in the center for effect) andI was ready to hit the town. This is definitely not a daytime look. I'm stillnew to stains so I'm working on my technique but I see even better results inthe future. Just one thing about the gloss though. I think I prefer not to havea brush in a gloss. I accidentally hit the brush to the edge of the containerand bent some of the bristles up. Now it won't go flat into the tube and I hadto cut off the strays because they were messing up my line. I think I prefera wand. But I love the color and will continue to use it along with my Gabriellipliner. The color for me was perfect.
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
I received the gloss and the stain and without looking at the Beaute’ website for directions, I took matters into my own excited hands immediately! First I read the STAIN box which pointed out that inside I was going to find ‘stain for cheeks and lips! So without preamble, I whipped open the package containing the “Florun 500” STAIN and I applied that particular shade immediately to my lips and my cheeks to see what I would see! Well...I can tell you that the cheek stain comes in a transparent glass container so you can clearly see the shade within. To me the color appeared to be kind of a neon orangey pink. The applicator is a little spongy tip which glides effortlessly across your lips or cheeks! What I discovered was that the word STAIN means this stuff is going to STAIN and...this stuff STAYS ON! The color for me made my lips almost a hot pink (not a good color on me) and my cheeks - well - I looked over blushed for about 7 days in a row until it occurred to me I had overdone it!!! LOL! You can actually make perfect Kewpie Doll circles on your cheeks and if you do they will stay like that all day long! I needed to work with the cheek stain application big time! I was clearly not a pro and I'm sure my co-workers were laughing secretly at my new glowing cheeks! If you can work it ever so gently you have the potential for a lovely blush all day long and of course having a flattering color on your particular skin tone will help too. If you put it on your lips...again I will say...AMAZING staying power and if you use another lipstick over it to create your favorite tones...you’ll love it. I DID NOT LOVE the taste of the STAIN! Bleet! I’d definitely want to try this STAIN again except in a better softer color for my skin tones.Lastly, in speaking of the featured lip gloss also by Beaute‘, I also received the Paramour 008 shade and was impressed with the brush style applicator (smoooooooooooooooooth application for sure!) as well as the high velocity shine I experienced! There really is no taste with the gloss which is better than a bad taste but it’s also not flavored if you are into that. It stays on your lips really well and there is no sticky lips with goopy residue that some lip glosses leave. Nothing is worse than when you part your lips and you can feel threads of lip-gloss separating along with your lips like spider web tendrils! This lips gloss DOESN’T do that! Great products!
Jeanasina!
I received the lip gloss in Cobra. The day I got the package it was extremely cold outdoors and the package sat in the mailbox for a while. When I opened the gloss, it was very sticky, the brush clumped and the gloss wouldn't go on my lips. I think the product was ruined due to the freezing. I would like to give this product another try before I say yay or nay. The Liqui-Gel and really liked the way it stained my lips and lasted for hours. It worked great layering under a gloss and compliments from friends tell me that this is a winner for me.

I have to agree with both Goddess Granny here and Vexy. The texture of this lip gloss is incredible, it is shiny and stays put and isn't sticky at all. However I did not like my color very much as I felt it had a bit too much orange in it for my cool complexion. But that is personal to me and the color would probably look great on someone else. However like Vexy said this is a very opaque color so it isn't something you would want to use to enhance a lipstick that you love but rather something you could use all on its own. Which is good for saving time and purse space!
I receieved the Liqui-gel stain in Fever which to me seemed similar to The Balm's stainiac. I used to be obsessed with the Stainiac but my fickle affections have switched to Stila's Cherry Crush. I also got the Luxurious Volume Gloss in Cobra, like Vexy and I was not so impressed. I agree it was way to Opaque for a nude color on a white girl. Plus it had a terrible plastic-y taste and that is a definite no-go for me. So sadly, Beaute didn't make my grade.

I need to redo my review. I went to Beaute's website and followed Mr. Beau's directions on how to use this product. The stuff is fantastic. I found it sticky until I tapped it in like he suggested. The key to using this product is to put a little on your hand and use a lip brush to apply, tap it in and put another light coat. My suggestion, buy and try, just be sure to watch his instruction video's.

I'm not that fussed about lipglosses, but i love the sound of some of Beautes other products, particularly the lip creme.
all the Beaute products deserve to be tired! Will they make it to my list 2010? I'll try!
