SHU UEMERA MOISTURE VELVET SHAMPOO! HUMP DAY HAIR DAY!
Kate here! Buy this product! Ok ok...I guess I need to take a step back. It's Kate here, and I would like to be the first to welcome myself back to the wonderful and magical world that is megsmakeup! I am so sorry that I had to disappear for a bit. I am growing up and learning that the world is often a lot harder and sadder than it seems when you are young, and I found I needed to take some time for myself and my family to find my ability to laugh at it all again. But now I am back, ready to mock my 7th grade blue lipstick, first date waxing rash, black neck hair from a sloppy dye job and other such beauty mishaps with the only ladies who will understand, my fellow megettes!
So to start things off right, I have decided to review something I have wanted to since I first tried it, Shu Uemera's Art of Hair Moisture Velvet Shampoo. So to jump back in where I started...Buy This Product! I know it sometimes seems like a lot of the products we review here get excellent reviews (or maybe we just have divine choice in what we choose to talk about) but I cannot give this shampoo higher marks. When my hairdresser first used this on my hair, she was using it after painting straight bleach on my scalp and leaving it on for 45 minutes. She stopped washing me and said, "feel your hair," and I did. I would have fallen down if I were not securely stabilized in the death trap neck brace that is a shampoo bowl (seriously people...can we find some way to make those more comfortable...anything will do really). My hair felt softer and silkier and more luxurious than it had ever felt in its entire life, including after countless expensive deep conditioning treatments. And this was from only a shampoo. I immediately bought it of course, and I can say that it only gets better in time.
I can't say what it will do for women with greasy hair, but for anyone with coarse, dry hair, this is your miracle product. Go buy it tomorrow. Or ask for it for Christmas because the one downside is that it is a tad bit expensive, at $40 a bottle. They also have a line for color treated hair and damaged hair, and while I cannot speak to those products, if they are anything like the Moisture Velvet, then we're going to have an epidemic of gorgeous haired ladies on our hands!
So ladies spill, anyone else loving the new Shu Uemera hair line? Or found a new indulgence to try and knock Shu Uemera off of its pedestal (be prepared, that will be a VERY hard task)?

I love this product and recommend it to everyone. If you are looking for it, look on ebay. I got the $40 mask for $20 including shipping and handling. You can buy the mask, shampoo and conditioner for $90, often with free shipping. If you do not trust ebay, look on froogle.com for it, they show you the lowest places on the web. I use them for all my high-priced needs :-D
LOVE Shu for their brushes and eyelash curler and although it seems a bit pricey,I'd hunt down a deal on this to give it a try because I'm just so parched currently, hasn't rained here in months! Is there a link to buy?
Katie! Welcome back - so...I was riveted from your opening statement...Buy this product! After reading your entire fantastic commentary I was prepared to buy this today! However, I noticed you didn’t include a ‘where to buy’ link with your review. I have been on line all morning trying to find anyplace at all where I can buy this and it appears to be a product that is not readily available to the public! I am sad honey! Recently I switched to Feria and found the perfect blonde shade I have been seeking for years but that stuff makes my hair BONE DRY and I keep trying different moisturizing shampoos both expensive and inexpensive and still have not found anything that gave me the results you so beautiful made us see and feel in this wonderful review of She Uemer’s Art of Hair Moisture Velvet Shampoo. Where can I buy some? I’m thinking of having you put some in a baggie and send it to me...I’m so desperate for touchable hair!~ Help! I came across some other RAVING reviews across the internet also praising this shampoo but can’t find any place where I can actually purchase it! One review out there said her salon in New York was the only place she has been able to find it! Alas! Help Katie!
Jeanasina!

It can be a coldbucket of water in the face when the harsh realities of lifeare learned. I'm sorry you had to go through it but youwill be a better person as a result. Just don't let itaffect your sweet sensibility that we all LOVE!!!!Takecare sweet girl.

It took me quite a long time but I’m happy to say, I found the actual Shu Uemura art of hair website where you can type in your zip code and it will tell you where you can buy these lovely shampoos! Jeanasina!
I'm super curious to try this because my naturally curlyhair is alwyas SUPER parched. I'm trying a few things nowthat work good, some that work better in combo with others, things that are great intially but don't hold up long term. You guys get it. I'm torn though because I still want totry Jessicurls shampoos since I LOVE her conditioner. We'llsee what comes first in the wallet. Thanks for the reviewand yet another must have for my wish list!!!
