Maybe you don't find Lip Gloss generically defined as inspiring but I find simple ideas usually are. If it's bugging you, know there are probably 5 million women out there it's also driving nutso. Kudos, for this light/mirror idea. I know, just from reading your comments that the megsmakeup readers are the smartest bunch of ladies on the planet. I know we have the next Tomima Edmark reading this! Who's that? She wanted to make a way to make a ponytail prettier and easier. She invented a simple do-dad called the "Topsy-Tail" Congrats on that breaking 100 Million Dollars in sales!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this packaging and I'm so glad this lipgloss isn't sticky.I HATE that and there are NO problems here! The color I received was a little lightfor my tastes but I'll save it for spring and rock the baby pink then. Thanks Hot Pantsfor such a wonderful item. Love the packaging, however the lip gloss left me asking "Where did my gloss go, I only put it on 15 minutes ago?" I agree with Champ3377 about the scent which is yummy. Sorry I have to give this one a thumbs down because I need a gloss that can at least take me from the house to my car without being wore off. Kudu's to the packaging. I still think I like Cat's lipstick tubes a bit better even though there is no light. The blue white light does distort how the product looks on you.

Every time I used the Hot Pants lip gloss in a public place I got tons comments from strangers. Its just simply genius- a mirror on the the side of the gloss and a little light in the cap that illuminates the applicator. I love it and have been using it non-stop. My only feedback is that the scent is quite strong and if you don't like the smell/taste of sugar cookies then you may not like it as much. I had to laugh the first time I smelled the gloss and recognized the scent - how many times have you read somewhere that the scent of home baked goods and vanilla gets guys turned on??? If that's true then this gloss will definitely accomplish that!!
OOOOOOhhhhh!!!! I am LOVING my "Hot Pants" lipgloss in "lush lips!!!"It's a carmel-y, gold-y,neutral but with a very glam kick sparkly shade that is the perfectfor me with a creamy consistancy that adds lots of shine and a touch of scent, and yes,I DO feel like my lips are plumping without that annoying "I just gobbled down a jalepeno" burning sensation! The light is perfect and yes quite genius...it might not be the longest lasting but hey,it's lip gloss and part of the fun is breaking out that sassy tube and applying,right! Gives us a much-needed girly-boost anytime and place!Appreciate the discount and will indulge!

I got this little goodie for an xmas gift and I love it! The color is too light (very light pink) for me to wear alone, so I need to have a darker color underneath. It gives my lips a nice shine. The light and the mirror on the packaging are quite handy. I can apply my gloss anywhere discreetly :)
I just got myself one of these lip gloss in gold rush for Mother's day and I have to say it's a winner for me. I love the shine it leaves on my lips and the silkyness and the smell of toffee is heaven. I want a eat it! LOL Adn yes the packaging is genius. I love the little mirror, I haven't had a chance ot use the light yet but I'm sure it will come in handyl :)
Its genius,oh and karinakarina its true about vanilla,my friend came in one night saying "thats it !,Im giving up wearing this perfume,its turning everyone into lust crazed freaks,"the perfume was single note of vanillla.

This site is so awesome.. I remember reading something about a l/g with a built in light a long while back in a magazine somewhere, but forgot all about it and couldn't remember what it was. Now I know the name of it, the price, where to get it, AND the fact that has not only a light but a mirror as well? Darnit, there goes my l/g no-buy. :PThe fact that it smells like sugar cookies bodes well for me, since my fiance grumbles about my mu/skin products smelling unsatisfactory to him.
I've used some l/g that was a rip off of this. I really liked the light idea. However the cheap l/g that I got this with was so sheer I didn't even bother with a mirror. I don't even know where I put these l/g's I got. Oh well, they weren't very good.I would like to try the Hot Pants ones though.
I went to the site to have a look, but I'm just not sure about the colors. I've been dying to find a red color for myself. Are these sheer are highly pigmented?
cool design with the light on...btw will it run out of battery if we use it too often...lol anyway, base on your review, it's kinda cool stuff and the shades are pretty too (yea my cup of tea) but I think it's a little too expensive even it's on sale...I usually won't spend so much on a single lippie...lol
I've heard both good and bad things about these and while i love the packaging i just can't justify spending that on a lip gloss. For the price i could buy a higher end lippie where i'm assured of the quality ( well more or less).

An LED lightcap is absolutly genius. I agree the color in the picture is so nice. and 'topsie tail', goodness, haven't heard that in a while. Nice lighted gloss.

I've seen some of these products before and i'm afraid i just don't understand the benefits of having a light on a lipgloss. I just can't imagine being somewhere so dark you can't see your lips and not being able to quickly move somewhere brighter to redo your lippie!
