CARGO HOLIDAY NIGHTS! SATURDAY AT SEPHORA!
Katie here, I'm in a style rut these days. I really hope I'm not the only person that ever gets in these potholes. I feel like I wear the same two pairs of jeans and the same three shirts day after day after day. I just want to look fabulous! I've actually been considering nominating myself for Tim Gunn's Guide to style. I think I would be a great candidate: attractive graduate student (which automatically equals NO MONEY) who can't get her hair out of a ponytail and needs a professional wardrobe for the gleaming career which seems just teasingly out of reach for the capabilities of the current content's of her closet. I mean...I have a FEW of the basics he requires...I have one great, very classic and modern LBD. I have a pair of classic dress pants and a good blazer and a couple great pairs of jeans. But gosh I need some pizazz!
Luckily, I would like to say that I do not consider myself challenged in the cosmetic/product department. I have a zillion eye shadows, half as many glosses, a score of mascaras. But the the thing I am envying for--to make my "this season" makeup wardrobe complete is the Cargo Holiday Nights collection. It comes with full size shadows - a shimmery white, a silver, an irridescent charcoal and a sparkly navy. A fresh pink blush a silver eyeliner and some face & body shimmer (whatever that is). The outside of the box is covered with a really cute Pucci-esque print. You can even pull the insert that containts the product and use the box as a cute structured clutch! See now that's some bang for your oh-so-affordable $25.
Just add your own gloss and mascara and get ready for some holiday cheer!

Yay, first comment! I too have the most booooorrrring wardrobe but I have over 100 eyeshadows and lipglosses...... I should probabally save all the money I would spend at Sephora and instead just buy clothing.... Oh well....
OMG, I want it. It looks and sounds so amazingly perfect! Will they still be around at Christmas or will everyone have snatched them up? Do I need to ask (tell) my mom to get it for my birthday NOW? or can I wait a few weeks? As usual Katie, please advise. <3 Sarah
This is a gorgeous collection; I love the eye palette colors, very chic with the navy. I have tried so hard to build a good wardrobe and invest in a piece from time to time. Ugh, still so challenging for me. If anyone wants to nominate me for "WhatNotToWear" on TLC feel free. As a momma, I still end up wearing the same jeans, tee's and MBT's (my favorite shoes) daily. My favorite piece of clothing this season came from Eddie Bauer, a beautiful garnet red v-neck cashmere sweater and two silky blouses from Ann Taylor, one in berry and one in that very popular silver/gray. This palette would work great with any of these. I need new jeans and wonder if I should venture to another brand, I'm a die-hard when it comes to these kinds of things. Any suggestions?
Cargo is awesome! I think the best products from Cargo are definitely their blushes and lipglosses! I love the round silver tins too, they are so cute:D
Cargo has quickly become my favorite brand, ever since I discovered it by reading some posts about it on this very blog! Before that, I had seen it, of course, but never actually tried it. Now I don't konw what I ever did without it.
oh these are so pretty! i just found out recently that dark navy shadows make my black-brown eyes seem to have a bit of color :D i like them but i wouldnt wear them to school, of course.
I don't have any cargo eyeshadows but i love cargo blushes.
Haha another uni student here with a bland wardrobe screaming to be filled with loads of snazzy new things!!!
