It is very fitting to be speaking plants today since today is Green Products Day and one of our best and longest supporters over here is the amazing Juice Beauty! Karen Behnke is their "head juicer" and it's easy to see how this company has been so successful with Miss Behnke at the helm! I have the absolute funniest email exchanges with her. She's in SanFran learning about natural elements and healthy living-I'm in LA waiting for the FDA to approve plastic to shoot in my wrinkles.
As cynical as I was to this "organic stuff" Karen has shown me the light! There really has not been one Juice Beauty product that hasn't knocked my synthetic socks off!

Listen, you're going to forget to put on your suncreen when you start to wear your tank tops and shorts and short sleeve t's. You know you are. Why? Why not kill 2 birds with one stone (Karen, that was said as a matter of speech, we are cruelty free here). ok silly me. i got this sample to test and i just thought it was a great smelling lotion! didn't even notice that it was an spf! what a great two-fer! i loved it before i realized it was an spf now i love it even more! carol b
Two things I really love are a good lipstick and a good moisturizer. If you can add a high level SPF to a really good quality moisturizer it seals the deal. Juicy Beauty green apple antioxidant has a great smell and consistency. You don't feel like you are wearing a heavy sunblock. It feels like you are wearing a thin layer of high quality moisturizer with a scent you will love. This is another great bridal or baby shower gift.
I love this lotion because it smells good, it rubs right in, it has a SPF of 20 and I don’t feel like I’m using a sun block. I’ve been using this daily and will continue to buy it once I run out. Living in So Cal and having a convertible it’s a must for me to be covered in sun block when I leave my apt. Last week I went to my dermatologist for my annual “spot check” and to have my stitches removed from the cancer spot I had cut out on my chest. The last thing my doctor said was “please wear your sun block everyday, regardless if the sun is out or not”. this stuff sounds awesome, and i really could have used some today. i spent a hour and a half at the desert botanical garden today, it was 99 degrees and didn't think about putting sun block on my body... so my arms now match the pink shirt that i'm wearing. tomorrow, i'll have to make a run to the nearest sephora.

Really smart product-gotta love the dual uses! Fresh apple smell, quickly absorbing lotion and spf snuck in for those of us who have trouble remembering to use it or lie to themselves that they don't need it cause it's not sunny/their Italian/spf is chaulky and yucky. Leave it to Juice to be so darn smart!
I am totally thrilled to have this and wish they sold it by the gallon, since I'll be using at least that much of it this spring/summer. I too hate applying sunscreen unless I'm at the beach. Since I'm pretty much never at one, but spend all summer long walking the dog, sitting in ballparks, and riding motorcycles, this will get applied every morning and be my savior! Even though it has spf 20, there is no white yuck typically associated with those. The scent is outstanding - actually kinda reminds me of Suki Lemongrass cleanser, even though it's green apple, not lemongrass. The smell itself doesn't last all that long on me, but leaves my skin so soft and moisturized, that I rate it an A+++ in all categories!
I received this with my Meg's Makeup t-shirt order. I was so happy to get this because I love Juice Beauty. I'm really into green products these days and just feel so much better using products with natural ingredients. I really like this lotion. Not only does it protect your body with added SPF, but it also smells wonderful. Think freshly picked green apples. It is also very moisturizing...keeps my skin feeling baby soft all day. If you have little ones, this lotion is great for them too. My daughter doesn't have much patience when I try to slather sunscreen all over her. On days we go to the park, this stuff works great to protect her skin and absorbs so quickly. I keep refilling my travel size bottle and keep it stashed in my bag I take to the park.
Just got back from my honeymoon in Brazil (aren't you "green" with envy?) and I give Juice Beauty’s Green Apple SPF 20 Antioxidant Body Moisturizer an A+ for performing well in humidity. It didn’t leave my skin sticky after application and also protected my neck and shoulders from the blazing hot sun (with periodic reapplications, of course). Plus the smell was divine and I defiantly plan on exploring more of their products now that I know how environmentally friendly they are. Thanks Meg for turning me on to such an awesome product!!!
Because of Megs, I love, love, love Juice Beauty including this lotion. It a lovely lotion, not too thick, but notrunny by any means, with an apple-ey smell. The added bonus is the SPF. I never put any on so I do kill two birds with one stone (figuratively, of course). I also use the Green Apple Antioxidant Moisturizer everyday and love it.
I am in love with anything and everything that I have tried from Juice Beauty! And this is no exception! It is smooth, smells yummy without being to strong so that I can still spritz my favorite perfume on after using it. It is great for my dry skin, and also I have very sensitive skin these days, so anything with too much scent in it for a lotion is a no-no. This being all natural, is prefect for me skin! I am going to buy a bottle right now actually!
ive never tried any juice beauty stuff but all their products sound so good, and get great reviews here on megs. and spf 20 is a super bonus if this is a good moisturizer. im forever lazy to use spf on my body :(
