Fine. I was a little drunk. I was happy and drunk and in a very hot, hot celebrities Porsche. I was living the life, fine champagne, gorgeous trips, impecable dinners. Then he grew tired of me and it stopped. No really, it completely stopped.
I wanted to stop caring but like a rubber-necker at an accident scene I couldn't. When most people break-up there is a period to heal. There is a period to stop obsessing, to stop wondering "Why" it didn't work out. You get a break, you get a breather, you get a chance to start completely anew. If you need these simple things then do yourself a favor Do not date a celebrity
You don't need to stalk the new girl on MySpace or Facebook, the tabs will do it for you.Want to get away? OK, then move to a cave because every glossy has his arm around a new girl.
It's Los Angeles, every girl I know has been in a relationship with some sort of "star".
I've known Lindsay Zir since high school and I can tell you she is a force of nature!
She was thrown into the lion's den of celebrity. Then she was thrown out. Then she was thrown in-then out. She knows the pain, the raw and the true.
She has always kept her dignity in tough times and has always looked at every experiance as a growth opportunity. Instead of hiding out, she's letting us in on her break-up reality. That is why, with extreme pleasure I welcome you to the world of Celebrities Anonymous. Enjoy!

I loved the videos!! And I actually thought it was really brave of her to make fun of her own personal experience in such a sensitive subject (having a hard time getting over our exes, that is!) ! The series was hilarious, well done to her :)
lol....i definitely don't have a problem with dating celebrities but if I ever did I must say I think I would enjoy the perks and not get too attached to the person emotionally since a breakup is inevitable!
I had a similar problem about 12 years ago...and met the same person 10 years later - and - it started anew. Needless to say, I was only "prey" (at least I felt like it) and it ended after about a year. Well, celebs are people too *haha* but then they're...different. I'm happily married to a very lovely husband who is kind of a "local" celebrity in my new hometown, but if I had the choice, I would definitely think twice before dating a celeb again.

LOL.. i doubt i i'll ever b in this situation but it's good to know ! lol... i do date a very well known guy and it can get very annoying.. :-| even to the point where i'm ignored in greetings and conversations or have to endure women hitting on him. He pays them no mind but AH! so annoying ! lol not to say i don't get my fair share of attention for the guys but yeah :-P.. I don't think i could deal with a full out celeb.. even tho they are human they seem to live in a different world with different rules !
LA life is really surreal I grew up in OC and frequented the Hollywood area. And LA life becomes so normal... but then, we moved to middle america, and it is so incredibly different! truly a culture shock, but if you make mention of the life in CA, people seriously think that you are full of nonsense...Oh well.. what are you going to do...
Wow! You had I pretty crazy life in High school. I never mind dating a celebrity, but I know I'm probably going to been caught up in the rich life, with all the luxury and eventually it will be tumbling over me. I think celebrities are too-exposed to everything and I rather live in a calm, small society where everyone knows each other than in a high rich class one. But if I do ever date one, I'll slow down the relationship before it can sweep me off my feet!

I will never have to worry about this. For one thing, I am married now. Also, I live in a state, which I have never even heard of a celeb visiting.Sorry to all the women who have ever had to go through something like this. A breakup is bad enough without all those extras.

I would never have the problem but even if I had the choice to date a celebrity I wouldn't. The lifestyle they have just isn't for me. I am a homebody and like my privacy to much and celebrities just don't get privacy. They always have a camera on them...can't even go shopping without having a picture snapped. I would hate that! Also relationships are hard enough without throwing all the celebrity stuff into them. I am perfectly happy with my firefighter husband. He is my everything celebrity and man of my dreams!!!
