JAQUA EXTRAVAGANZA!
The sweet smelling and luxurious beauy maven Emily at Jaqua sent out a variety of their gorgeous body butters, shower gels, lotions and cremes, all in the Pink Potion scent. I remember Jaqua from when they first arrived on the scene. I used to think their products were ok, I was never particularly bowled over by them. Either my memory is failing me or Jaqua really revamped and upped the indulgence factor here.
First off, the packaging is so lovely, not modern and sleek, more ladies powder room. I knew as soon as we put the choices on the table at our mailing what I wanted. The Pink Potion Shower Creme was calling my name! Desertdoll may have her gloss addiction, actually it seems a bunch of you have this same ailment. Me? I've slowly been turning into a shower creme/gel collector. Mix this newest fetish with my love for all white blooms and this choice was a no-brainer. You see, the Pink Potion line is billed as "Luxuriate in the garden of white florals and amber that is Pink Potion, our magically enchanting new fragrance with the power to put you under its spell". Sold! The more in-depth description of my newest shower obsession? "A rich and creamy shower wash filled with an intoxicating mix of jasmine, tuberose, clove and Indian Mimosa and packed with good-for-your-skin ingredients such as fruit and aloe extracts, macadamia, kukui and evening primrose oil and vitamins B5, A and E. Turn your shower into an exotic vacation!"
I'm beyond happy wih my choice! It lathers up perfectly and the scent is beautiful. No worries about HOM using it all up on me either! It's distinctly feminine scent and pink tube is safely all mine.
Ladies, please let us know exactly what gorgeous Jaqua product you were lucky enough to indulge in!

I received a tub of the Pink Potion body butter. The packaging is really adorable (i leave it in the bow box)! The smell...at first it was overwelming but I've warmed up to it. Right now, I've got the tub handy in my work drawer because I need lotion on my hands when I wash my hands, which is a lot. I've yet to try it on the body but will when I have a night out. The smell stays with you and the texture of the lotion is extremely nice. A little goes a long way and it's very moisterizing. A co-worker asked me what it was...it reminds her of Coppertone. I've got to remember to sniff some Coppertone when I go the drugstore next time. I can't describe it except that it's a heady floral but I don't think that's an accurate description. I'm really glad I received this particular smell because it's not something I would pick for myself. Like I said it's growing on me;) Many thanks for sharing. I know many women that would love this product and plan to give as a gift.
I got to try the Pink Potion hand cream. The hand cream part was good - but I just don't do "white flower" scents so I handed it off to a greatful Pink-loving sorority sister. BUT I do LOVE the Orange Creamsicle Body Scrub and the Buttercream body lotion - that one never fails to attract the boys! I love Jacqua!

I was lucky enough to get the Pink Potion Shower Creme, I'm a Shower Creme bubble bath nut so I was excited for this new additon to my collection. The package was adorble, very elegantand fancy! The smell was good and the shower creme works great. Very Creamy, leaving you clean but not at all dried out. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the smell. It's good, but I have to say having sniffed some of their other scents I'll be getting the Cocoa Buttercream Shower Creme or the Buttercream Shower Creme next time...strickly a scent preference. The Pink Potion is a clean flowery smell, just not for me...but as a shower creme I say A+++Check out their web-site ladies.. it's pretty irresistible.
I also received the Pink Potion luscious lotion. I don't have tremendously dry skin so I'm always looking for something that provides a bit of moisture without making me feel greasy. The formula of the lotion is absolutely divine. It does precisely what it is supposed to do and absorbs quickly. I put this on after I shower and it makes my skin feel fantastic. The only semi-drawback for me was the scent. I'm not a huge fan of florals but this was light enough that it didn't really bother me. I'm going to check out Pink Champagne and Buttercream next.
YUM YUM YUM :) Mint Chocolate Luscious Lotion, is SO GOOD :) yummy smelling and overall gorgeous. I used it as a lightly scented chocolate cream on my neck. with my yummy vanilla spray, its a gorgeous winter scent. 2 dollars at TJ MAXX! really yummy and delish.
I chose the Shower creme and so glad I did. It's super rich, really creamy and makes tons of luxurious bubbles. I really love the secnt, I'm a tuberose fanatic, but I also love spicy scents and this is really a mix of the 2. The pacakging is just so adorable, Jaqua really has that all figured out. Without even smelling it, your saying "oooo"! When you smell it, then comes the "ahhhh"! I've been using this to shave my legs and I'm really loving it. It leaves behind the scent and leaves my legs super smooth. I'm not a huge fan of all their "foody" scents, but this is a real favorite of mine. YUM!
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried Jaqua's Pink Potion luscious lotion -it’s beyond hydrating formula works wonders. You all know how dry I am.. (My skin not my boozing...) Yes, my skin is terribly dry and can be sensitive. I hadn’t heard of this line until recently and frankly, I was quite impressed with it all around. Here’s my honest review of this lotion. It packaging is adorable and their catalog is like a hardbound book, it is loaded with very tantalizing products that will meet everyone and anyone’s needs! Everything in there is PINK! So purdy..so feminine -so girly! What I liked about this lotion was how my skin responded to it -it definitely quenched it’s thirst. Jaqua's hydrating formula contains kiwi, mango and aloe extracts. My skin was so soft and smelled wonderful too. I love the white floral and amber Pink Potion fragrance.
I hadn't heard of this line before (of course I'm seeing it everywhere now). The packaging is adorable, just adorable.I received the Pink Potion Body Butter and the Pink Potion luscious lotion. I'll admit that I have not thrown away thebox the body butter came in (far left in picture above)yet..I just can't...pink and brown with a lovely bow on the top. I'm using it everday but it goes right back in its box! The smell reminds me of Fracus, I love it. Since it wasin the 20's today here in Massachusetts, my skin looks likes scales so I'm using the body butter much more than the lotion. My skin is in desperate need. When I don't need as much thickness in the spring, I'll change over to the lotion. WhatI also love about this is that these would make great gifts. With the packaging and the smells (I haven't smelledanything else yet, but I plan on it) you can't go wrong for a stocking stuffer or birthday gift. I love findingout about all of these things! Thanks Meg! Another hit.
I am enjoying my Pink Potion Hand Crème with MeadowFoam Seed Oil. It has a lovely floral fragrance that feels very girly. Although I have older more mature hands, it makes them feel younger. I can smell it as I write my review. It’s a perfect size and design to put in my purse and lotion up while in public places. I say go JAQUA!

Okay, I'll admit I'm a total Jaqua Whore. Love, love, love them! Their packaging is so cute and the products inside are a really nice quality. I received the Pink Potion hand creme, which I'm already a fan of their hand creme, so YAY! I was trying to place the smell and it's almost like a flowery purple popsicle smell, but in a good way. It smells very similar to one of Victoria's Secret's discontinued scents, "Pretty in Pink". I also own their Mint Chocolate hand creme which is DIVINE and doesn't smell even remotely synthetic, just sinful, and Pink Buttercream hand creme which is equally yummy. Their hand cremes can feel a tad greasy, but they absorb fully within 3 minutes or so and they are fabulous. I also highly recommend any of their body butters as they are highly moisturizing and smell heavenly--especially the Cocoa and regular Buttercream frostings. Their shower syrups are also really terrific, not even remotely drying on my sensitive skin, and they smell so good, you never want to get out of the shower. If you can get your grubby mits on a Pink Buttercream lip whip, you'll be hooked. I really can't recommend this brand highly enough.
Wow I love this, this looks amazing, especially the bird-like perfume, beautiful packaging.
Nice! the review was great!
I looove these!A friend brought me some from a trip and I don't use them that often because I don't want them to finish :)
"First off, the packaging is so lovely, not modern and sleek, more ladies powder room."I was thinking the same thing.
ha very sheek
Beautiful packaging. Must try this.
I love super sweet scents, so I have always coveted these products, but none of them have actually made their way home with me. The packaging really is adorable. It makes me with I have a fancy vanity to put it on...maybe one day I will...
