EPIONE SIGNATURE SERIES HYDRATION MOISTURIZING CREME!

Sun, 11/25/2007 - 8:49pm
  • Face

Last week I told the story of how Epione Signature Series Eye Creme made its way into our lucky hands Epione Eye Story and Reviews-Here I added the reviews because they were outstanding. You really should see what the ladies had to say about the Eye Creme. They all went a little bit mental over it. Mental in a good way of course.

The very exclusive and famous hands of Dr. Simon Ourian created a whole 3 step signature series system. The eye creme blew us all away- let's see how the Hydration Moisturizing Creme stacked up.

First of all, the packaging is as fabulous as the eye cream. It comes in the same LV inspired box and a heavy art-deco inspired jar. It's just sublime.

I subscribe to about 6 different home decor magazines a month. One of the magazines (I think Elle Decor) had an article in it all about bathrooms. There was a list of do's and don'ts. #2 on the list was "Never leave your beauty products or face creams out on your sink. No one wants to see that! It's just too much information!" I use to follow that rule when I had guests. Then I got the Epione series and I proudly displayed them on my sink. Not only do my guests WANT to see these jars (it's like baccarat designed them) but they usually bring one out with them saying "Oh, I loved this! It's so glam! I hope you don't mind but I tried just a teeny tiny dab! It's AWESOME!"
I may go back to hiding these products, but not for the reason Elle Decor thinks.

The Hydration Creme itself? It's ridiculously moisturizing. It seeps into your skin and you instantly feel soft and smooth. It makes you glow, it brightens dull skin and rids you of dryness.

Dr. Ourian's Epione Center is right smack in the most hoity-toity section of Beverly Hills. Dr Ourian sees hundreds of patients a day, there's no difference between what the well-heeled and famous want and what we want. His top request is always for "beautiful skin". He didn't start this line to become rich (between you and I-he's doing ok) he started it to be able to take a lunch break. With his expertise, he's buying us all more time.

Here's the deal on Epione Signature Series Hydration Moisturizing Creme..."A rich, decadent hydrating moisturizer to diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles Combats dehydration and defends against the daily onslaught of environmental aggressors like dryness and air pollution Restore the appearance of radiance, tone, clarity and luminosity associated with healthy skin Replenish youthful, firmness and three-dimensional contours."

Ladies, let us know if Dr. Ourian has scored another unanimous "must have" with Epione Signature Series Hydrating Moisturizing Creme!

I was recently traveling in South Africa and the Hydration cream saved me! It definitely lives up to its namesake - a rich, emollient cream that restores firmness, clarity and tone. Amazing!

Yes, I am guilty of stealing this product from my daughter's bathroom. I saw the packaging and had to have it. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and am noticing it is correcting some of my dryness. Being very mature I need lots of moisture.I have been getting compliments on my skin lately and can attribute it to the moisturizer.

like all the epione products, i was immediately drawn to the packaging. i'm a sucker for it....but am often disappointed with what's inside. Not this time! I am completely in LOVE with both the box and the product! I have never tried a cream like this before, i always had squeezy tubes of moisturizer. i thought they were just fine, until i tried this and now i can't go back! I just absolutely love the way this feels on my skin. i am super duper dry right now (especially since I just started going to the derm and they this stuff on my face that made it start flaking off!!) so this stuff is the best at making me not feel like a lizard! my skin feels youthful and dewy like it's supposed to.

Rich and decadent are absolutely the right words to describe this. Someone recently broughtup "luxury skin care" and I immediately thought of this moisturizer. While my skin is (mostdefinitely) aging, it's not particularly dry, so I often shy away from richer creams. This, however, is simply luxuriant and moisturizing. I've really never used anything quite like it.It has the most incredible texture, feels so good on your skin, and smells divine. EverytimeI use it BFOK mentions how good I smell :) I think I'm hooked!!!

Any other treat from the office of Dr. Simon! I found this moisturizer very luxurious, very creamy, but not to rich to make my face break out or leave that afternoon shine on my nose and forehead. While I like the look of the packaging for me I would have preferred it in a tube or pump. I travel and it’s difficult to pack this square jar. Because of this on my last adventure I left my moisturizer at home and boy could I see a difference in my skin tone and not for the better. I’m going to have to go a purchase a travel jar to transfer some into. Another successful product from Dr. Simon

Oooooh, I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! Yes, I am one of the ones who went mental over the eye cream, and I am totally addicted to it! This is fabulous as well. I have sensitive skin and can't wear too many products on my face, this one is so smooth and moisterizing, and keeps your face glowing all day long. I love it so much that I had to share to love with my Mom (who found this in my bathroom) who I love more than anything....it was hard to give some up, but I had to let her in on it since she has been on the hunt for the perfect face cream. I will tell her to post her thoughts on it as well. I have noticed lots of great things since using this; like, skin is softer, and glows more. Color of skin in brighter, and my skin feels hydrated all day long. And the bottle really is fabulous, I have left this out on my sink like Meg to show it off....thats where my Mom discovered it, and I had to share the love....so be careful if you leave this out...people will go crazy for it and want to steel it ;)!

This is one of those creams that belongs up there with the biggies: La Mer. La Prarie, Darphin. It is so rich and moisturizing! I love the fact that you only need a small amount to hydrate the whole face! It works great as a daytime cream: it dosent make me oily by the middle of the day, yet my skin remains moist. It works great for a night cream: passed my test of still feeling hydrated when I wake up. It smells divine! If cashmere had a smell it would smell like Dr. Simon's day cream! And not only is the packaging beautiful, but it also fits into my medicine cabinet perfectly! Stacking with the other creams from Epione in a neat little tower of yumminess!

Fabulous box, just like the eye creme was. Love the lucite jar as well. And the creme is really moisturizing and totally luxurious. Unfortunately, a little too moisturizing for my oily skin. Lucky for Pamelairene, I passed this on to her and as you can see above, it's perfect for her! I wouldn't reccomend for oily skin, but I will if you are normal to dry or just plain dry.

Stef was right- again! she knew I would love this! Not only is the packaging impressive; what I found inside the container is was really took me for a ride! The HYDRATION I needed was finally found in this beautiful container- it’s phenomenal on many fronts. It’s formula is so rich that I was shocked when I put some on.. Loved it instantly. I read that the moisturizer contains essential vitamins as well as extracts and lipids designed to restore the skins natural lipid barrier and to lock in moisture. I am extremely dry lately- especially right now, ask Stef. This was a just what I needed and have used this both morning and evening to keep my dry and thirsty skin replenished! Did I already say it is so rich and creamy? Yes! I also noticed it goes a long way. some creams seem to disappear too soon while applying it to your face and throat, but not this one. I needed a moisturizer that had an intense combination of ingredients to repair skin cell damage and help to protect my skin against environmental aggressors like dryness and air pollution. I’m joining the Beverly Hillbillies and getting my hands on some of this ASAP!

I loved the inner and outer packaging of the product. I also enjoyed the smell.Unfortunately due to my combination skin, the product made me feel a bit greasy andafter about 4 days of using it, I noticed a small breakout on my forehead. With thatsaid however, I would recommend this to my friends who have dry skin.

Just be happy I paraphrased that Zappa lyric! Another oily skinned girl checking in! This face cream is just as fabulous as the eye cream, so rich and luxurious. Plus the impeccable packaging (still love the boxes!) But like Bunny this was my least fave of the three as it was a little too heavy for my skin tone. I use it sparingly when I feel extra dry and I’m always amazed at the results. Fast, soothing relief - my skin looks better right away and that dewiness is long lasting. Highly recommended for people whose skin craves lots of moisture. This would be quite an impressive Xmas gift with the high-end packaging and remarkable results. Plus it’s the perfect time for a great moisturizer - right before the winter really kicks in.

So of the three, this came in third place for me. Mainly because I, like DDoll am an oily skinned girl. It is very moisturizing, not in a greasy way, but it just clogged my acne prone skin. Another odd thing was the smell on my skin. After about an hour this odd fish like smell would appear. I sent DDoll and Chi an e-mail asking them if they noticed this, and this was Chi's response " There are two things that smell like fish, one of them is fish, the other one is growing on your face - Frank Zappa". I have an odd thing with lotions and moisturizers on my skin smelling funny. So I gave this to my momma. She loves loves loves it. The only thing she would change is the jar, she prefers pumps. Like Powder said this is a bargain compared to some of the other high end lines out there. I've sampled some others and a few of them are not even a close second to this for packaging, price and holding up to what the company claims it does. I give this one a solid B+, it would probably be an A if it could be used on all skin tones. Overall, the 3 Epione products are amazing!

I know this is an old listing, but I had to add my two cents since I just got my hands on this product.  I have relatively dry and sensitive skin and this stuff goes on so smoothly and richly, but absorbs well and just makes my face feel so divine!  The packaging just adds that little extra something too.  Makes me want to try more Epione (Dr. Simon) products!!

I LOVE IT(and the capitals are not typing errors)From the packaging, fab box-cute little ribbon pull drawer, then it gets even better, beautiful heavy glam expensive jar.So far so good,I double cleansed,Ifelt the cream deserved a sporting chance and applied the rich cream, hopeing I wouldnt break out ,my worring was in vain,it sunk in without a trace and my skin felt amazinly moisturised. It imparts an instant glow and you just know this cream is going to do good things. My brother walked in the door and the first thing he said was your skin looks great, this is after putting it on once.I think I might be addicted already.

All I can say is "WOW".  This luxurious cream is so rich and hydrating.   My thirsty, parched skin loves this cream.   It absorbs quickly and does not leave any oily residue.  After 2 days of both day and night use, I am already noticing a difference in my skin texture.  And, the packaging is just GORGEOUS!   My skin thanks you Meg for getting me hooked on this stuff -- my wallet "not so much". ;)

I'd love to try this.  It looks and sounds *from the glowing reviews* amazing.  Alas it is out of my price range.  I'll keep it in mind though for when I win the lottery.
