Getting a free anything is usually straight off the back a win in my book! A free pen use to make me happy. Since starting Megs Makeup I've become quite spoiled. I still love "free" though. So, I'm sure you ladies squealed with delight when opening your free prize.

OMG I’m sorry I am so late in posting! I won’t bore you with the details but my computer has been at “sleep away camp” aka CompUSA’s repair shop. I was so excited to get my fragrance in the mail - it has a really cute package, very young and girly. The bottle is also trendy and prettier in person than in pictures. I really love vanilla scents and especially those with musk. Unfortunately this one did not work for me. I liked it when I sprayed it and sniffed the bottle but one I sprayed it on me it changed. I guess my skin made a weird note come out, almost like a plastic smell. Kinda like when you were younger and bought a Strawberry Shortcake doll and sniffed her skin. I guess some other people noticed that too. I showed my BFF when she came over to pre-drink (I live within walking distance to the best bars in town!) and she really liked it! So I spread the love and gave it to her.
Reading the other reviews after mine, I have to laugh since I aam told by my hubby and I always say I am a teeny-bopper at heart....I guess it's true. I love teeny bopper perfume :). It keeps me young!
Yeah - this fragrance may or may not agree with you but I have noticed that it agrees with MEN (all men - gay, straight, whatever).... apparently smelling like a freshly baked sugar cookie is a huge turn on. Its basically a spray-on afrodisiac.... certainly much more pleasant than sucking oysters. Yo Meg - put this stuff on and experiment with HOM... I would love to know what happens ;)
I have to preface this by saying that perfumes go weird on me. There are only a few I can wear--and unfortunately this ain't one of 'em. But I gave it to my 13-year-old daughter and she smelled of cookies.On me? Burnt plastic.
Yeah. This scent is sooooo...13 year old prostitute.

I posted as soon as I got this gift a while back. I admit I was beyond excited to get it.. I was even more so when I sprayed my first spray ever of this. Loved it instantly. I’m quite the pushover when it comes to perfume as it were! But I do have a strong preference to anything that remotely smells like vanilla.. and if you add musk into the mix I nearly come unglued- ask Desert Doll about how we love anything vanillary! (an unofficial made-up word) I have this lovely bottle on the left side of my vanity, which means it gets used alot more than the rest.. I have so many bottles of perfume it’s sickening.. No, not to me, but to some; understandably! I put this on a lot.. I am a bit spoiled in the fragrance department and love many wonderful perfumes. This is what I originally said when I first posted:This perfume box and bottle has the most avant-garde (far-out) design I have seen in a long time! It’s so creative- it screams out to anyone who sees it that it must be worn! You feel very special wearing it too.. It’s so fine! Very nice for everyday or special occasions.. Ever notice how you remember special occasions by smell.. All fond memories and a distinctive smell just go hand and hand.. I am looking forward to making those memories with this. My husband thought that the creators where probably born in the 60's..and the design has probable cause written all over it.. HA! That made me laugh. However, what's so amazing about this line is how pretty it smells. It not only is serious eye candy to me it really smells like heaven. Thanks for sending it my way.. love it completely and will wear it often!
Stinky stinky poo poo! YUCK! It smells like cotton candy gone wrong! This is something I would expect of a perfume geared towards kids or tweens. I cannot stand sticky sweet scents, and this epitomized just that. And the garishly bright, space age looking packaging wasn't doing it for me either.
I wear this evderyday and I LOVE IT! If that makes me a 13 year old prostitute then put me on te first corner I think it's yummy~
When I recived this I was so excited to try it since I had read good things from the peple who won it here. Meg was nice enough to give this to me in a package of other goodies for my Birthday....so exciting :). When I opened the package, my hubby and his brother were watching me, and this perfume was the first thing I opened. I was sqealing with delight about the package and the bottle. I was holding it up saying, isn't this pretty, look how pretty it is....and then I sprayed my first spray, and was in love! This perfume is so YUMMY. It smells of cotten candy, vanilla, sugar and spice, and all the things that I love...and even reminds me of being a kid....but is also sopistocated at the same time. FABULOUS! And PRETTY, waht more could a girl want? I wear this alot, about 4 times a week. My hubby loves it too, and I wear it on special occations, if you know what I mean ;)! And, I agree, it really is so pretty on my Vanity, I put it in the front so anyone who goes in my room will see how pretty it is.
I wrote a super long review in the first post but I have one small addendum to this scent: It is THE scent for fall but in warm weather, the scent turns weird and overwhelming.(Of course I live in Hotlanta where it is 30 on day and 95 the next! I miss my sunny 75 San Diego!!!)
I won this. I never win anything so maybe my review will be tainted... but I think it is happy fragrance. A lot of people call it "young" and I agree, but it is a far cry from Baby Soft. So respect to the Hard Candy fragrance. That said, I will always be an Issey Miyake luva.
Ok, I have a mixed review...My husband watched me tear open my package and jump up and down when I got the HardCandyperfume (I love my HardCandy eyeshadow pallette). I didn't want to open it because the packaging is really cool (and, infact, I kept the package putting the perfume BACK in the package the first few times I used it!). When I finally tossedthe package, I started using the perfume daily. I LOVE this perfume. I'm a huge fan of sweet, musky, vanilla-ey, typesmells - they make me feel warm and cozy. Thats what I smell when I use this. I use it like crazy so one night I got cozy next to my hubby and asked him what I smelled like and he said "cotton candy". I said, "Ok, if I were to walk by someone, would they say 'wow, she smells good!' and his reply was 'no, they'd say you smell like cotton candy. I'm not sure I want to be smelling like cotton candy everyday, but I keep using it everyday. Its a winner for me.
It seems that men love sweet scents. Whenever I wear ,falling in love, by philosophy...men tell me that I smell good....ok, not every single time I wear it...but quite a few times. The only time my hubby ever told me I smelled good was when I had used the ojon treatment on my hair....just so you know....it smells like a forest fire(katie thinks it smells like an ash tray)...Go figure!!!
I got this as a gift and wore it twice. It seemslike it is a fragrance for young and s s--too juvenile an aroma for me. It also appears to try to mix several top notes that conflict with one another. And to think that I love to wear ANGEL atnight--truly a gourmet fragrance. Also get complimentson Falling in Love. But this Hard Candy is toocandified for me.
I'm a 44 year old women in love with this amazing perfume! It's so pretty on, I kid (ha) you not! Grown men have stopped me to ask what I'm wearing, so they can buy it for their girlfriends and wives! It's beyond beautiful!I know that some might not care for this but i have moreyea sayers than nay sayers by far. Just this 77 year old lady who works next to me who doesn't like any scent! Go figure! My husband really likes this on on me too..Looking for some action? Give this a try ladies!
Oh let me tell you I love Hard CAndy makeup but this was not for me at all... WAY tooo sweet. Very young smelling.. young meaning teens!! I gave it to my niece who just turned 14 and she LOVED it. It's a nice smell.. lasts long and all that good stuff but not something I want to smell like! It really smelled like cotton candy to me. I usually like sweet but this was just too sweet.. I knew right off that it would be perfect for a teen.. so I can see yeahright's 13 year old reacting like my 14 year old niece. Lovely for them.. but not for me.. which is why I said no.. if my niece had reviewed it she would say A+++ all the way. but for me. it just didn't work.
