DR. PERRICONE'S CERAMIC SKIN SMOOTHER FINISHING SERUM? SHOULD I BUY THIS??
Help! A call out to our make-up mavens! Does anyone have the skinny on this product? Nicole is needing some cosmetic consumer guidance!
Meg:
I saw this stuff from Sephora and wondered if you'd tried it. It's Dr. Perricone's Ceramic. It's expensive ($75.00) so I want to know if it works before taking the plunge! The Megs Makeup readers seem to know everything out there so I was hoping they could help me!
Here's the hype:"Ceramic Skin Smoother Finishing SerumWhat it is:A finishing serum that bridges the gap between serious skincare and
natural looking makeup. What it is formulated to do:An oil-free gel that completes your skincare regimen by locking in moisture and giving your complexion an instantly flawless, smooth, and velvety finish. It primes the skin for perfect color application by reducing the appearance of fine lines, pores, and imperfections. Perfect skin means foundation is now optional."
Thanks,
Nicole
That's quite a claim! Any Dr. Perricone fans out there? Is this Ceramic enough to really make foundation optional? Hmmm xoxox Meg

Generally, I think Dr. Perricone's products are completely overrated with the exception of two items: The Concentrated Restorative Cream, and THIS! This product does everything it claims to do, and it does it well! Your skin will never have looked so flawless in your life. It is the ULTIMATE under-makeup primer. And I swear it makes your makeup stay on and fresh-looking about 4 times longer than any other primer on the market! You will NOT regret this $75!!!!

Newsflash! You can get a 7 day supply of this right now direct through NV Perricone for only $4 shipping. Best yet, you get to choose 2 extra samples too. Here's the link: http://www.nvperriconemd.com/lucky It acts like it's going to charge you $7.50 for shipping but you'll see in a few steps it's only 4 bucks. You can also choose to pick it up in store if you live near a Sephora. See Tasha-I'm your good deal fairy helper!
There aren't many things better than coming home from a long day at work andseeing a big, fat Sephora box on your front porch! I read the reviews her onMeg's make-up and spent the $75.00. This is the first time I've tried it butman on man my skin looks good! I am thrilled! Thanks Gals!
You go girl!!!
Doll, You are so cute...we are helping women across America save money on beauty products...and that is something to be proud of!! Go put your tiara on :-)
DEAR DD- you should get a fricken cookie for that tip!
This stuff is AMAZING!! After 2 weeks of playing about with Dr. Perricone's Ceramic Skin Smoother and SmashBox Photo-Finish, I have to say if you must make a choice, I’d buy the Perricone. Love it for the under-makeup smoothness and the fact that my pores look SO MUCH BETTER. Mid-day touchups with blotting papers and less than a smidge of Photo-Finish really tops it off. This product is worth the $$$ and then some.
How fickle I can be - Just received my re-supply of Ceramic Skin Smoother last week. And it will probably be my last. Not because the formulation changed. (It appears to be the same.) It's all about the "new and improved" packaging. New - yes. Improved - only if you count the "locking" top for travelling. The dispenser is far from smooth, leaving me with an inconsistent amount of product and a much worse tendency to squirt in weird directions. The bottle is now opaque - no ability to see when you need to buy more. And the worst offender: They changed from glass to a non-recylable plastic. I loved the product, but it's not that much of a miracle worker to overlook the non-consumer-friendly packaging. I'm now on the prowl for a replacement product.
Ugh, courtney, you tick me off. I know that I am a fountain of useless information about beauty products and pratices. but you are the gosh darn pacific ocean. how can I hate you and love you so much at the same time?

I bought Ceramic Skin a few weeks and my skin has been loving it. And, thanks to you wonderful women, I just bought the sample size and sent it to my MOM! We were on the phone today and I was going on and on about the wonderful skin products I have recently discovered and how my pore sizes seem to be shrinking, even the really stubborn ones on my nose and cheeks. She (My MOM) has always had terrific skin and never wears makeup except for lipstick and she dabs some on her cheeks and rubs it in for blush (just like her Mother used to do). In describing the Ceramic Skin Smoother, I thought, she might really love it, she doesn't do foundation and doesn't need it, why didn't I inherit that from her! We will find out, I'll keep you posted...
Let us know how you liked it!

Has anyone tried the Ceramic Eye Smoother (instant eye fix) by Perricone? Please let me know your views on this product if you have tried it....
There is a fine line between love and hate my devilish friend!!!
Thank you! I wanted to buy it so bad but I waited for some reviews from you guys. Now I am running to Sephora, literally!!!!! Nicole
Girl-I never take my tiara OFF!
This product rocks. I wore it alone in the sweltering New York heat and it looked amazing. It really does work. I have no idea what magical stuff is in this but it evened out my skin, made my pores disappear and it didn't make me break out! Miraculous. Thanks for making me buy this goop!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY THIS!!!! I know it's a lot of money, but hunnies, you need this! It's oil free, and you're skin will feel the best that it's ever felt! Not only is it a BUTT KICKING PRIMER, it is an anti-aging treatment as well! Two birds with one beautiful stone! It helps with discoloration, pore size, and fine lines! Is has an ingrediant in it that dentists use when they perform oral surgery that actually pulls the moisture from the air, and it holds it into your skin! How crazy is that?! Bless you Dr. Perricone!
I've used a sample of this before so I would love another one...just haven't wanted to pay the $75 for it. Thanks Doll for the link...I just ordered my free sample and the shipping was free also. What a deal! Not sure why the shipping was free, but I'll take it.
I tried it for two weeks but it made my eyes red and irritated and I put in on the outer edges.
Haha, I love this! Very cute. I know exactly how you feel- unfortunately, my bank account is not as thrilled about those Sephora boxes as we are.
ive tried this at sephora once before, and i couldnt believe what a difference it made. you seriously will not have to use foundation after you use this. the price is still a bit high though.
I have sworn by my Smashbox Photofinish Primer for the longest...but after reading the reviews I think I might splurge and try this primer instead. If it works as good for me as it seems to for everyone else...then it's definitely worth the $$! Wish they still had the sample sizes...but this is an older post. But from what I have read here...looks like I may be switching to a new primer! ♥
"Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones..."
i just got a 50 dollar giftcard to sephora for christmas.. this is what i will be spending it on!
this looks really nice!
A bit expensive for my tastes!
