Dean Factor. What can one say? The pedigree is pure fabulous. Yup, he's the spawn of a legend. The Grandson of Mr. Max Factor himself. Can you imagine being Max Factor's grandson? There are tributes to him all over town. There is a MUSEUM to his greatness.
If I were a Factor I'd be drinking Tequila Sunrises at Sunrise. Not in this family gene-pool. They are a hardworking bunch. SMASHBOX COSMETICS grew from Dean and Davis Factor. They knew their niche and modernized it.

PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER WITH DERMAXYL AND SPF 15. THIS PROCUCT ACTUALLY IMPROVES YOUR SKIN, FILLS IN FINE LINES, AND PROTECTS FROM THE SUN.

I started my line because I couldn't find this...
but I deliver it with each product...

When I see a women make this mistake I cringe...

Thank-you Dean & Davis for creating Photofinish! I think, you too, should get your own museum just for coming up with that!
I love Smashbox! But I'm probably the only person on the planet who doesn't like the photofinish. I do think they make the BEST eye shadows on the market though. They've got the best colors and wear better than any shadow I've ever used.
I am impressed...I think you should forward this to Paris Hilton & pals who really don't do much with their trust funds. I didn't know that the Max Factor Heirs were the brains behind Smashbox which is one of my favorite brands and I never go a day without the photofinish. I also love the commitment to makeup that is also good for your skin - why not? When you are over 40 (like moi) it becomes an absolute necessity. Love the interview & LOVE Smashbox!
I swear by PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER WITH DERMAXYL and have to hide it if I want to keep using it for myself. I actually had a male friend take a bottle of it home with him, he uses it everyday. I think this is called sharing!
I didnt know they started Smashbox. Can I go a single day without using at least one smashbox product? Nope, I sure can't. I'll need to be buried with my photofinish...

Smashbox is better than Max Factor!!btw, I love Smashbox eye shadows (single ones).
Smashbox is quickly becoming one of my favourite makeup lines! Everything I've tried has been pretty damn fantastic. The products are great for personal use as well as photographic use and I have to say I'm quite disappointed that smashbox isn't that popular over here...
Smashbox makes the only primer for me...I will not stray ever! These guys seem like they are really nice. For some reason I had no idea that they the people behind Smashbbox. (where have I been?!) I used to use Max Factor years ago. A great post, thanks!
