SCOTT BARNES HYDRATING MASK!
The glowing Laura Lee from Scott Barnes sent us some of their hydrating masks to test. I am wearing one as I type this post. I think this idea is genius. Masks are usually so time consuming. As they dry you feel your skin tighten up and they are a pain to scrub off. I get that stuff in my hairline, up my nose and behind my ears.
I have never seen anything like this product! Picture a cloth make-up remover, but if it had eyes, nose and mouth. It's like a moist towlette. This product is way better then make-up remover though so forget that reference. It's just hard to explain.
All you have to do is place the hydrating mask to your clean skin and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then you just pull it off your face and massage the remaining hydrating essence into your skin. I haven't done that last part yet. I think it's because I don't want to take this facial mask off. Whatever blended essences were used on this hydrating mask, they are heavenly. I'm having my own little spa experience as I type this.
Laura Lee also gave me a little gossip, she told me that Scott Barnes will not apply any of his clients make-up unless he uses this on them beforehand. As one of the most famous make-up artists in the world, Scott has put this same hydration mask on Jenifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianne Moore and Kate Hudson. Those are just a few. Scott Barnes is a serious A-List must have.
O.K., I have to go take this off and see if I'm all hydrated and able to apply my makeup easier.

Take my advice, relax for 10 mins. while you have this mask on. I multitasked-fed the dogs, washed some dishes and just about scared the life out of my hubby when he walked in on me with this thing on! You look like very stylish mummy. But this mask deserves some down time for what it does to your skin. I don't have dry skin, if you do, you're going to fall in love with these. But even with my combo oily skin, my skin felt fantastic afterwards. I was a bit worried it would make me break out, but it didn't. It gave me really lovely, smooth, glowing skin. This really felt like a treat for your skin. And doing these before a big night out's makeup application is such a great idea! I'll be using this when I go to the Golden Globes. Once I get my invite, which I'm sure is on the way....
Besides the fact that I looked like a character out of Texas Chainsaw Masacre, this mask was a super pleasant experience! Most masks have to be washed off or removed with a damp cloth. But this mask IS a damp cloth! And when i removed it, my sking was a soft and moisturized as a baby's bottom! Seriously, it took years off my life! I want to buy MORE and use them every time I get ready to go to something important. You could even wear these masks as you blow dry your hair. They just saty in place until you are ready to remove them. And the price is so reasonable. I am so bummed I gave one away to a friend!!! She better love it as much as I do!
I have been to the well renown Gurneys Spa in Montauk, NY twice this year for spa treatments and this hydrating mask puts the facials I recieved there to shame. I am usually not a fan of anything that adhears to my face, because of constant battles with getting the mask off and the sticky residue that most masks leave behind, but this mask was incredibly silky when putting it on and taking it off. I could actually feel the hydrating components in the mask refreshing my skin while it was on. When I took it off, my skin was so radiant and smooth...I couldn't believe that I didn't even need to use a moisturizer since my skin is usually soo dry. That refreshing feeling revitalized me for the day. Who needs a spa day when this mask can offer one whenever I want!!
This is the must, must, MUST have of all time!!! The glow of my skin, the softness to the touch, the most even, smooth makeup application EVER - all were a result of using this mask. WOW. I never, ever want to be without!! Added bonus - it smells divine. I usually dread putting on masks - as Meg said, I, too, get always manage to get that sticky/dried out mud in my hairline and spend WAY too long trying to scrub it off. With this, all of that hassle is eliminated, providing the easiest, most pleasant mask experience I have ever had. Forget the spa - the results from Scott Barnes Hydrating Mask are better!!
With all these rave reviews you'd think we were all getting paid to say these wonderful things about Scott Barnes Hydrating Mask. Truth is, we're not, we've all just fallen in love with it. I treated myself to a “spa” evening when I tried this, lit some candles, played some soothing music and laid on the couch for 30 mins. It was so relaxing and who wonderful were the results. My face was so soft and smooth to touch and had a nice glow to it. I just wish I had waited to use it before a special evening out. More reason as to why I’m on my way to the Scott Barnes site to purchase more Masks. **Plus, check out the special on his site..................
With reviews like this I had to try it, and I am SO glad I did. This is possibly the easiest, most pleasurable masque ever made. Once you learn the art of unfolding it -- think reverse origami -- then nothing could be easier, or more refreshing. And I agree, it's tempting to just leave it on forever, but don't. The results once you peel it off and smoosh in the residue is a beautiful, smooth, cool canvas. Paint away.
I want a crate of these things! I have become like Elaine and the sponges. It has seriously crossed my mind that Scott Barnes may get hit by a truck and they might not make these masks anymore. I went into a slight panic. The no-muss, no-fuss is one thing. I wore mine while watching LOST and it was divine. But the results...well the results were astounding! First of all I don't usually do well with masks. A lot of times they dredge up all those dreaded impurities and just bring them to the surface in the form of pimples. Not this baby. My skin really was glowing and soft. I'm getting a lifetime supply because God forbid...
I love masks. Love masks. And this one was downright orgasmic. I did it right after I showered. Well, first I did my Decleor Aroma Purete Clay mask and then I put on this little beauty on while I watched an episode of Friends. I love that I didn't HAVE to get up and wash it off, because I didn't want to have to tear myself away from the TV. My skin is SO smooth right now and when I did eventually get up to throw away the towlette and put on eye cream I was GLOWING. Absolutely glowing. Holy cow this was freakin' amazing? Can you buy this in an wholesale-size box? I'm in love with Scott Barnes.

I had to try it too. Love it. Looks freaking weird on though = ). I had it on in bed last night and the look of my husbands face when he came in was priceless. He said I looked like the guy from Saw. But with results like this, who cares! I am going through the induction period with retin-a again (for wrinkles). I stopped using it for a while and now I have to go through the whole two weeks of pealing & irritation... fun... but this mask REALLY helped. The only problem I foresee is wanting to use this bad boy every day. that could get pricey. 8 stars out of five!!!!!!!
I love masque's that come as a pre-moistened cloth! The other kinds always get in my hair, and I have to scrub them off, it's so much extra work that it cancels out the relaxing I do while I wait for it to work.

I love monodose masks like this but never tried this particular one, they're easy to use without causeing a lot of mess!
