The always classy PR reps from Prescriptives sent us an assortment of their BRAND NEW COLORSCOPE LIP COLOR!

Can you imagine going to your mailbox and pulling out a huge package filled with an assortment of lipsticks? I know! A year ago I couldn't imagine it either. I use to say that there was "no high like a bargain"! While that is still true there really is no high like a huge packet of cosmetics delivered to you for review. Sorry for the daydream. Back to Colorscope! Prescriptives has given us a choice with our finish, we can have cream,
sparkle or shimmer. Thus allowing us to decide how much ooomph we want to put out there. There's also a feature on the site that allows you to find your recommended "colorprint"- once you figure that out then they have a handy guide to help find your perfect color. "Sounds good!" You're thinking, "tell me more" (you may be thinking-cut to it you wordy moron, but I'm hoping it's the fist thought). Prescriptives also claims colorscope is super moisturized-another benefit!

I got this puppy in True Bronze. I really liked the texture of it. The color was a little off for me...Browns look sort of funny on me because my lips are rather pink as it is. I bet I would have better luck wth the same formular, different color.

Perscrptives was the first line I got serious about when I was first old enough to take make-up seriously and it has remained a favorite all these years. I tested Autumn Sun-cream. It is a beautiful color, especially for the colder months and the upcoming hellidays. It's dark and rich like a Bordeaux (looks great on us dark Brunettes) and goes on creamy, smooth and stays in place. Like a grownup girl's lipstick should.

I recieved True Bronze in Sparkle and San Diego Sunset in Shimmer. Both colors are absolutely beautiful, and as all of the other ladies have been saying, the consistency of the lipstick is heavenly! I actually think they have a nice little citrus fragrance going on, which is quite pleasant. LOVE the shimmer, hate the sparkle. Seriously, I must have something against glitter on my lips, because everything about this lipstick is amazing (and I don't even like lipstick!) I would highly recommend the shimmers, but I will not be wearing the sparkle.

I am reminded that I love Prescriptives every time I put this lipstick on. They're a classic staple line for me because they never disappoint. Their lipsticks always go on creamy, never dry out, and they have really flattering shades. A LOT of them too. I got Autumn Sun in a cream, which is such a dead on name- a medium brownish red. So gorgeous! It's really moisturizing but doesn't disappear like a lot of creamy lipsticks do. It's true too, they really are genius at matching colors to you, whether it's foundation or lipstick. Come to think of it, one of my favorite eyeliners is Prescriptives too. I reccomend a trip to their counter!

I too received the Autumn Sun, I do agree it's the right shade of red for a brunette. I usually shy away from darker shades like thisone, but once I had it on for awhile it really grew on me. And the color really does last without looking dry and cracked. It goes onsmooth and continues to give your lips color throughout the day. I really love this lipstick from Prescriptives and I would love to trythe Dusty Rose, as I too have a light complexion.

I recieved the bronze color. I'm not sure I know any one who actually wears bronze lip stick. Myself included. This shade might be better suited for someone with a darker complexion. The lipstick's consistancy was fine. It reminds me of the first lipsticks I tried as a teen. Kind of retro. I prefer a creamier lipstick (ala MAC's 'Lustre' line).

This lipstick is fantastic!! I loved the color Autumn Sun that I recieved...it was a perfect match with my medium skin tone....and goes well with anything. The lipsticks texture is soo smooth that it works as a moisturizing agent for my lips also. The sheerness of the color also made this shade so appealing, but was not shiny like I gloss, which made me love it even more. I am also not a lipstick person but trying with this product I do not feel like I am wearing one at all....It has such a light feeling to it. The best part of all is that I can fit this product anywhere, even in my pocket for quick reapplying!!

I received True Bronze - Sparkle. I must admit I love this lipstick. I wasn't fond of the last one I received but I thought it was because I am more of a gloss/balm kind of gal. Prescriptives has changed that forever. One of my complaints about other brands is the smell. This has a scent but not the strong lipstick scents most do. I love the consistency and color. I don't have one complaint and will look around for this line.

I haven’t tried anything from Prescriptives before and always wanted to, so I was excited to try out this product. Especially since I haven’t worn lipstick in like 6 years. It always seemed too dry for me. I was (okay, am) a chapstick addict so I like a more moisturized feel on my lips. This does just that! I was amazed! I tried the True Bronze sparkle shade, and while the color is definitely not for me, I am a fan of this lipstick. I love the size of it too. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t carried lipstick in forever, but it feels cute and portable to me. Now if they could just do something about the weird waxy smell...

I have many Prescriptives products. My sister gave me some a while back and I am working my way through them. I have a color that is too dark for me, but it is definitely a high quality lipstick. I wear a lipstick primer (MAC) so I can't tell you if it wears long on it's own. It is moisturizing.
