Boscia Daily Hand Revival Therapy SPF 15

Boscia's smooth reps sent us some of their lux "Daily Hand Revival Therapy SPF 15"
Hands? Who gives the skin on their hands too much thought? I know I surely didn't. This is why I now do.

I use to LOVE my Jackie Collins trash novels. My parents would not allow me to watch "Three's Company" for it being too sexual but they never censored my reading. Fools.

I was a huge book nerd. Still am. I am PRESIDENT of The Hollywood Book Club www.hollywoodbookclub.com

Anyhow, my parents used to scream at me to stop reading, even when I bought a secret flashlight to read under the covers.

On the first day of fifth grade the teacher would ask us to name the books we read over the summer. I held up my hand and replied that I had read, "Hollywood Wives", "The Bitch", "Lucky"-every Jackie Collins book available to my greedy hands. When I did my book report on "Rockstar", Mrs. Heaton had enough and had a conference with my parents about my illicit reading habits.

Cut to eight years later. I am riding in a cab- uptown Manhattan. I see a sign over Barnes and Nobles. Jackie Collins Book Signing Today. I screamed "pull over" to the cabbie. He does.

I couldn't believe my luck. I ran into B&N for the introduction I had been waiting forever for. There she was. Joan Collins. Joan not Jackie. I was so disappointed. My cab had left. I blew off a Calvin Klein go-see for this?

Being eighteen and stupid, I explained to Joan that it said "Jackie" on the marquee and I was really here to see "Jackie" I was completely enthralled by Joan Collins, the outfit, the make-up, the way she patted my hand that it was "O.K" I wanted to meet Jackie, everyone does.

The hand is what did it. I looked down and it scared me. Joan's face was pulled tighter then tight. Not a wrinkle to be found. This 65-year-old could pass for forty. The hands do not lie. Joan patted me with the vainiest, liver-spotted, old person hands I had ever seen. Hands that did not go with her face. Someone call a surgeon. You can't only look young from the neck up. It's freaky.

Boscia Hand Revival Therapy Claims to "An intensive hand therapy formulated with powerful antioxidants and a unique anti-irritant to hydrate and revitalize hands and cuticles, leaving them soft and supple. Questamide, wine yeast, calendula flower, and other conditioning ingredients nourish and revive skin elasticity while combating UV free radicals. Mulberry lightens sun spot pigmentation caused by UV damage while a combination of UV active ingredients help prevent the future signs of aging".

Ladies please post if this revival helps your hand or if you look like a Dynasty.

I was pretty excited to receive the Boscia hand cream because I'm constantly washing my hands at work and they tend to get very dry. Needless, to say, I have kept it at my desk ever since. I love the rick and creamy texture. It penetrates riht through the dry spots. I just wish it had a stronger fragrance, but all in all very nice cream.

I'm obsessed with hydrating my hands. I always have a bottle of lotion on-hand at my desk, in my purse, in my car, you get it. I liked this products's compact bottle as it fits just about everywhere. Nothing flashy about the packaging so don't know if I'd gravitate to it in the store. Liked the texture and thickness; felt it was doing it's job. Not the most fragrant (I'm a fan of yummy smells), but again, it worked and it didn't smell bad, just not notable.

Great stuff! Really moisiturizing without being greasy which is a hard feat to pull off. I put hand cream on every night and when I consistantly do it, my hands feel fantastic all day long. And with the added spf in this, it's a great day cream too. I'm very impressed with this line!

I must admit that I have a mixed review on this product. I loved the moisturizing capability - it left my hands feeling soft and moisturized. Also, the SPF protection was a major plus for me. BUT, the smell of this lotionwas HORRIBLE! It had a chemical/plastic-like smell that completely turned me off. I would buy this product againif they changed the formula to have a more pleasant scent or unscented.

I think this cream is a dream! I am like Howard Hughes with the hand washing, plus I have a tendency to bite my nails when my hands are dry. I immediately became dependant on this cream. I too have it sitting on my desk and I always find it's just what my hands are hankering for on an everyday basis. Now, I will say sometimes my hands get REALLY bad (I do some crafts in my work and sometimes if been working with glue for example) and in those cases, I need the really big guns (I use Weleda Skin Food) but, as a daily creme, I will definitely buy this one! The tube is convenient and just the right size.

Yes ladies! Just like you need spf on your face, you need it on the rest of your body! And this lightwieght cream soaks right end so your hooves aren't getting grease on everything! Plus remember, your eyes, neck and HANDS show the signs of ageing first, so you MUST put sunscreen on!! Or, you can look forward to looking like a wrinkled hag, and I know none of us makeup forward ladies would ever allow that!

Very good hand cream. I am a clean freak. I love bleaches, Windex, etc. Therefore I need a great hand cream to bring my hands back to life. I also have a beautiful, sparkly new engagement ring which needs a young hand to display it. I recommend this one.

I'm so anal about putting sunscreen on my face everyday. It helps that my moisturizer has spf 30 in it and that's how I start my day. This is the hand cream I've been waiting for to add to my daily routine. It's rich but not greasy. My hands drink it up and I love that it's natural. The time is now to start preventing those old lady hands with age spots!

I totally with Missy on this, I too am obsessed with hydrating hands. But I don’t like lotions that are too fragrant. So this lotion was just perfect for me. I love the light non-greasy feel of it. And the SPF 15 protection made this hand lotion a “perfect 10” in my book.

For some reason, every product I have with SPF in it I hate. Its the smell or consistency, or something - I can't figure it out. That is the first reaction I had to the Bosica hand cream. I felt greasy and like I had just come from the beach (maybe I've just conditioned myselfto react this way????). Anyways, I do use tons of hand cream and just kept it on my desk and forgot about it, with the intention of not using it. In a rush, I grabbed it a number of times and slathered it on and I have to say it really grew on me - the smell, which is minimal, the texture which I initially thought to heavy and its really not. So, all that said, I really like it now!

My hands really take a beating and are so neglected. This cream absorbs into my handsnice and is not greasy! I love the fact that it has the spf 15. The size was good, I can leave in on my desk and it does not take up too much room.

This is a very nice hand cream that penetrates quickly and moisturizes the skin.It has a rich feel to it and left my hands soft and smooth. It seemed to penetrate quicklyand moisturize very well. The nice thing is that it had no greasy after feel like so many hand creams seem to have. The scent is very light and pleasant so it doesn't conflict with any other scentyou might be wearing. The SPF is a terrific idea - I expose my hands to sunwith a lot of outdoors time and don't give them a second thought as to protectingthem - I should, but just forget. This is a nice bonus to have the SPF includedin this hand cream.

I have never been a huge fan of lotion. I have bottles and bottles of it that I collect at xmas time from family members who don't know what to get me. I hated spending the time to put it on, plus it made me stick to my clothes...and who wants to smell like a cucumber anyways!? I have been using this hand therapy now for two weeks straight...and I think I'm a changed person! I am a blog addict, and I'm often reading about celebrities and their "zombie hands" so I feel like this stuff will keep me from having them. No grease, no weird smell, it just works.

I love this one. I consider myself a hand-cream connoisseur. Maybe even a little bit OCD because my hands never feel moisturized and supple. But this one isnt bad. I like. Sunscreen is ALWAYS good.

chichi says,

Meg's story about poor Jackie's hands reminds me of a long ago moment in High School. I had a friend with what could best be described as aloof parents. Her mother was always impeccably dressed and seemed to be looking at me disdainfully (my Robert Smith hair do didn't help). This mother was not the type to hang out with her daughters friends and share make up tips. However, I have one recollection of her barging in on us applying (with a very heavy hand) our 80's make up. She held back from demanding we wash our faces and just watched. Then in her clipped South African accent she told us "Always remember to moisturize your neck and hands. That's where a woman first shows her age" She then silently left the room as we tried to hold back our laughter. But that advice has always stayed with me and I try to use it everyday.Boscia's Daily Hand Therapy has made this so much easier! I've always wondered why hand cream do not include an SPF - I don't want sun spots if I can prevent them! This cream is perfect - rich and moisturizing, but not too heavy that you leave grease trails everywhere. I really appreciate that there is no added scent or color. I've been using this everyday after my face SPF and my hands are thanking the people of Boscia for this gem!

This is a great hand cream... I bought it because I was looking for a replacement for my addiction to The Body Shop's paraben laden Hemp Hand Protector.  I've been using if quite sometime now, and I must say that it is almost as good at TBS HHP.  I love the fact that the Boscia hand cream has SPF, but it's not as moisturizing as TBS HHP.  Although, it is much more moisturizing than many of the other hand creams that I have tried.  With all that is said, I may keep this one for my purse, and find something more moisturizing w/o sunscreen for work.
