Boscia Jujube Salve Stick !

Boscia's fabulous "IT Girls" sent us some of their "must-have "problem-salving" treatment for beauty on the go. Not merely just another lip balm, but a moisture-plumping, wrinkle smoothing, primer and multi fix-it stick".
Boscia also claims that its jujube salve "can also be used to prevent lipstick feathering and refresh cakey concealer throughout the day".

There was this kid in my 8th grade science class named Scott Brown. He sat next to me, he was pretty normal. The only weird thing about him was every 5 minutes he would apply cherry chap stick. I'm not a rude person but my curiosity got the best of me.

Me : "Scott, um why do you put on chap stick every 5 minutes? It's distracting".

Scott (clearly agitated): "BECAUSE I'm addicted"!

That shut me up and I went back to my igneous rock chapter. I never forgot that moment. It was the first time I had ever met an addict. He was clearly in trouble.

I thought about that exchange when I was thinking about writing this post. Do people really suffer from Lip Balm Addiction? I bet you would think the answer is no. I did a little research. The answer is a big, fat "YES"!
There is a whole website devoted to LBA (lip balm addiction). I am adding the link in case any of you have a problem. No judgment here. Get help. Scott, I hope you know you can call me "put down the tube and walk away"!

There are a few things Meg has sent me to test that I now can't live without - this is one of them. My God, Ilove this stuff! I put it on everytime I put on lipstick and my lips feel so much better and my lipstick looksnicer. Everything just looks and feels softer. I love my chapstick too, but I think I like this better.With chapstick, I re-apply time and time again when my lips dry out. That doesn't happen with this product. LOVE IT.

I received Boscia's Jujube stick and have used everyday since. I didn't have much of an opinion at first but it seems to really make my lips smooth. I keep it on the bathroom sink and use it morning and night. I agree the applicatoris user friendly and the balm goes on with ease. I'm sure I'll have much more to say in the winter when my lipsare anything but smooth. I would recommend this product.

This is a great product. I have it in my nightstand drawer and have been using it every night since receiving it and every morning when I wake up before I go to the gym. It has definitely made my lips much smoother. The scent is somild that it doesn't interfer with anything that I have on. I can hardly wait to seehow well it works in our dry and cold Wisconsin winters. Thanks Meg, for another useful product.

Great stuff! This goes into the "unscented/super moisturizing" section of my lip balm collection and has moved to the top of that category. This is the stuff I wear to bed or wear under lipstick. It's the perfect consistency, not too hard not too soft. And I've been waking up to really soft lips since I started using it. Other categories include "super sparkely/tastes like candy", "clear and super shiny" (for over lipstick), "medicinal", "balms for the purse or beach" and the list goes on. I have no idea what Meg was talking about with lip balm addiction though.

I am definitely a lip balm addict. When I received this product to review, I was not only excited to try something new...but I was hoping to find my holygrail of lip balms. Our relationship was great. I would put it on in the morning, then a couple hours later, then again before and after lunch. I think I put it on hourly until I left work...then it remained on my desk until the next day. It has such a wonderful texture, and there is no distracting taste or smell...just a nice slick feeling on your lips. But then, the weekend came and I left it here at work so I'd have something to look forward to on a Monday. The next day, I woke up and had the worst dry/chapped lips I have ever had in my life. I don't know if that's how I became an addict in the first place...because I really didn't know what I was going to do without this stuff.

I am so happy! For some reason I thought the Megsmakeup testers would not see the sublime beauty in this product. I feared it would be passed over as a "whatever." I thought I was going to be the only one who found this unassuming stick a joy to behold. But I underestimated the savvy girls. I am not an addict. I've always hated chap stick and thought it was gross -- so dry and yucky and I just could NOT possibly carry that nasty package. But I may become an addict now because I love this stuff. I too wear it under lipstick/gloss and am going to try it under my eyes right now. This may very well be the find of the year!

I think this stick is amazing!!!! Love the texture of it, the color, and mainly how itmakes my lips feel. It is by far one of the best lip moisturizers i've used: better than Kiels or the expensive brands of lip conditioners i've used.Moreover, i think this brand pretty much rocks...mabey it's because it's from Japan.Would definitely buy it again and recommend it.Thanks for the introduction on this product!

I love this little stick! The applicator is very user friendly. I like the way it glides right on and you don't have to press down like other sticks of it's kind. It keeps my lips moist and youthful looking. I love it when I'm going au natural or for the gym or a hike. It has a pleasant clean scent and doesn't have a taste. I give it two lips up!

I also tried putting it around my eyes when I went to sleep and I woke up in the morning with super soft and moisturized eyes! I think this is the new necessity for flying. Since you are now limited to 4 oz. of liquids, my arsenol of in flight moisturizers are out. This is an all-in-one miracle!

Hi, I'm chichi and I am a chap stick addict. As a matter of fact,last night while packing for Megs big party in New York, I hada little breakdown. I realized that the TSA ban on liquidsand gels may apply to chap stick as well. I called desertdollin a panic - how the hell can I be on a plane for six hours withouta variety of chapsticks at my disposal?! Since I haven'tbeen able to access the TSA site my dilemma is unsolved and I'm stilla little unnerved....Anyway, as you can guess I love my lip balms! The Boscialip salve is right up there with the best. I love that there isn'ta strong scent to it so I can wear it over or under anything. The consistency is great, smooth and soothing. It has great stayingpower and doesn't slip right off your lips. When I wear it undera lipstick the color definitely lasts longer. Recommended forall chap stick addicts!

Me Likey! Starts off in a great tube for easy application. Then, put it on and this salve is pure butta for your lips! It's simpleand there isn't much to question except why you haven't ordered a tube yet?!?! I highly recommend getting on that before thecold weather sets in. DO IT.

I really loved this product. The salve stick just glides on so smoothly. As a result of the smooth application, my lips ended up feeling so super soft. It makes lipstick application so much easier. It really does smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles that my lips sometime have. This is definitely a keeper! Loved it!

Oh my lord, do I love this lip stuff! The texture is fabulous and it lasts a long time. I have used so many lip balms and conditioners and I have to say that this by far one of the best I have used to date.
