This is indeed a very handy-dandy pack. Very well thought out in terms of shapes and potential applications. It's been said here before but I'll say it again: Purrfect for travelng!
"WOW" I exclaimed when I opened this brush set. And I repeated the opening and the wow-ing about 10 times (I think my husband was slightly worried). But this set is very, very wow worthy. A flat, approx. 3" x 4.5" box with a latch that opens like a fan (ooooo) to reveal 9 of the most luxurious professional brushes I've used (ahhhhh). I had just bought a travel brush set at Sephora because I was tired of toting my expensive "home" brushes out with me, and therefore trashing them. Brushes I've spent 50 bucks a piece on, I'm ashamed to admit. But the brushes in the Cat set rival those. They are soft, precise, compact and complete. I couldn't imagine needing another brush for anything! And even though I've designated this set for travel, I found myself reaching for these brushes at home, leaving my $50 angler eyeshadow brush in it's holster. The Sephora travel set is being given to a friend and the Cat set is my new favorite toy. Seriously, is there catnip in there? Cause I'm downright gitty!!
Fellow frequent travelers, read on! This is an excellent compact kit full of all of the brushes you're going to need to look purrrfect throughout the day, and where ever your travels may take you. I am someone that travels often, and many times can be found doing my make-up in the car, at work, basically anywhere but my home. Thank you, Cat Cosmetics! This case has ALL of the brushes you're going to need from lips to eyes to cheeks. And the best part? High quality brushes in a take-along container. I couldn't ask for more.
Who can live without this product? It has all the brushes one needs to get great eyes and a blush and bronzer brushes to boot. Plus a handy case so its easy to clean up after applying the war paint. Love the case for traveling. The brushes are made from real animal hair, except the ones that shouldn't. Cat Cosmetics has a great deal on her site, under "Cat Essentials", you can get this brush set along with lip plumper and buck naked lip liner for $40, a $90+ deal. I suggest everyone go for it, before it is all gone.

I'am a huge fan of Catcosmetics. Cats products are fabulous and she must have a huge heart to help out our furry friends the way she does. The brushes are out of this world! They are soft and compact. Plus my makeup has never looked better. What a difference a nice brush makes.
What a great thing for a girl on the go like me. I love this. The brushes are theperfect size. I don't even carry any other brushes. My fave is the eyeliner brush. Oh yeah, and did I tell you that I am bad about misplacing my makeup brushes and loosing them in my .... CAR? Beafraid when you see my bad boy Yukon (ha ha) on the road in the morning. Chances are I am putting on my makeup. And to think, my husband was a state trooper.
Cat has perfectly blended functionality with it's equally important counterpart, beauty. When you open this relatively small case, the super high quality brushes are elegantly fanned out for you to choose from. And when you're done, you just put the brush back in it's home. I just love it when everything has it's place! Your make-up is only as good as the tool that you apply it with, and these brushes leave nothing to be desired. The bristles are super soft, but not too soft. Just, perfect. I am constanly bouncing back and forth between my house and my boyfriend's, and this set is awesome for schlepping. Before I got these wonderful tools, all of my brushes were just thrown into my make-up case, where they would get smashed and dirty. I can't wait to travel with them! Also, major kudos to Cat for donating some of the profits to Animal Haven. BRAVO!!!!
This brush set is convenient, portable, and amazing. The brushes are wonderful quality. Being a model I wanted a brush set that was very portable but yet practical. So when I first spotted this set on Cats website I bought it. And I haven't been sorry. Instead of putting together a lot of useless brushes, she combined a nice variety of brushes for about everything you might need them for. This brush set is awesome! I bought it during one of cats special holiday sales a couple of years ago. I have never used any other professional brushes. This was my first "real" brush set, but it's so good that I really don't want to try any other brushes. When I get a hold of something I tend not too let it go:D I've unfortunately lost a couple of the brushes though, and I wish that she would sell replacement brushes. But I think I will just end up buying a whole other set.

Whoever came up with this idea should be given an award of some kind. Honestly, this is the best invention ever and the brushes are good quality. Before I used the brushes I assumed that the bristles would get stuck on my face and I assumed wrong. High quality brushes in a cute convenient package...great to use when traveling and the packaging is small enough that the brushes fit into my handbag. Purrrfecttttt.
Now, I am the type of girl who uses the (usually chinsy) brush that comes with a product, but after realizing how glamorous, not to mention how well applied makeup can be I am an addict of the sesameow makeup brushes. I have always had good brushes, but they are NOT convenient, so why bother? This range of brushes is well organized, each in their own slot, and inviting...I have even started wearing eye shadow, yes, dreaded eye shadow! The highest praise I can give to this product is for the wide selection of brushes; very good range and in such a small compact too!
I just recently started using make up brushes - just this summer - and its amazing what a difference they make! I have the cheapo's from Target and loved them. Now, to actually have a nice set of brushes in a case that fits right in my bag, its like a dream come true!!!!
"MEOW".... FABULOUS collection of brushes in an awesome container...stores flat, looks like a container for blush or eyeshadow, but pops up to reveal the greatest array of brushes. I couldn't believe the difference it made when I used a couple of the smaller, narrower brushes for eyeliner and shadow; I was able to get some subtle but really nice effects (never realized how lousy the brushes that I was using really are!) The container is great for traveling or just to pop into a purse or bag for the day. Enjoy!!!
This is brilliant! Many of my makeup brushes have REALLY LONG handles. A pet peeve of mine has always been: when I put together a small makeup bag (for a night out or travel) the brushes always stick out of the bag and I can't close it. Everything ends up spilling out and it drives me NUTS! Let's just say the bottom of my purse is not the cleanest place and certainly not where I want to store brushes I'm going to put on my face! This has solved my dilemma! I'm so happy! It's has every brush you could possibly need. The quality of the brushes is fantastic! They compare to the expensive professional makeup brushes I purchased. I love Cat cosmetics for thinking of this and since I've discovered her line I it's become my new favorite! Good going CAT! This kitty is purring!
This is one genious collection of brushes! A demur little box that fans open to reveal an array of compact, dense, high quality brushes. It seems most travel sets I purchase are skimpy on the number and quality of brushes but this set is easily portable and still stuffed with every brush one could possibly need - it was the perfect addition to my make-up bag. Plus, once opened, the box lays flat on any surface: vanity top, your desk top at work, the bar at the local pub,whatever. So handy!And, may wonders never cease, these brushes have improved my make-up application skills (I swear)! The shorter length of these brushes is brillant. They feel so comfortable when applying eye shadow. Why do they make most brushes so long and unweildly? I'll never go back!
My Sesameow arrived the day before I left on a 2 week business trip. The timing was perfect, I was just heading out to purchase a bag to carry all of my assorted sized brushes in. Cat's container for the brushes is wonderful. I love not having to dump a bag of brushes on the counter top in order to apply my make up. The brushes are fantastic. You can tell they are high quality! And Cat, thank you so much for all you do for our 4 legged friends!
I was very excited when I opened this fabulous compact filled with soft brushes that came out looking like a fan. Each on has it's own place, so it will never get lost in my "oh so organized" make-up bag. Then I tried a couple of them, and I was even more excited! They are peeeeerfect! My blush and eye shadow looked flawless. I have to admit I am not one to use nice brushes all the time, but now that I know what I was missing, I will be using SESAMEOW everyday :) And, it travels so nicely to boot!
This is the cat's MEOW! I just traveled with it and it's the perfect, most practical set of brushes anyone could want.my pet peeve has always been keeping my brushes clean inside my travel case...this thing is the best creation anyone could give.I would recommend EVERYONE to have this! I am not a fan of things that come in sets. I like to make up my own 'sets'. I don't like to be told what to do. I don't like the question "what's your favorite brand of make-up" because I like to use the best things from each line. I have never met a brush set that I liked either. They are usually cheap and flimsy. THEN I USED OPEN SESAMEOW!!!! And I was BLOWN AWAY!! This little brush set has now replaced all my MAC brushes. Every brush I might need (and I use all types) is in this little box. The quality and practicality amazed me. I can do everything from applying my foundation to lining my eyes. I love it. BUT IT NOW!!
Very high quality brushes. I, too, am one of those who only buys the nice brushes... brushes that often cost more than the makeup I buy!I'm a frequent flier, so I'm always looking for ways to downsize my haul, even though I refuse to travel with more than a carryon suitcase. The brush quality is fantastic. I love that the open box fans the brushes out for easy access. The hardest part is learning to put on makeup with a shorter handle... it's kind of like using a shorter pencil to do schoolwork... doesn't feel the same.Overall, I say the Sesamenow brushes are a hit... I'll be bringing them on my next trip!
I must say that I just love Cat!! After using MEOW-ZA and receiving SESAMENOW, I have observed a trend in her products - absolutely practical and compact -- just PURRRFECT! Both products fit perfectly in my make-up bag. This very high quality set of brushes is all a girl needs to have perfectly applied makeup. Also, I must note that I am a big fan of Cat for another reason... anyone who donates their profits to animals is a winner in my book!
I just came back from a trip to Florida where I met up with 19 girlfriends from all over the country to cruise together on a ship to Key West & Cozumel, Mexico! I had to pack light so I grabbed this brush set instead of my usual assortment. We hit some unusual weather & twelve foot waves were causing the boat to really rock & roll. Everyone's make-up paraphanalia, cocktails, & ESPECIALLY make-up brushes were flying & rolling everywhere. But not my Open Sesameow! It stayed put while open & ready for my selection. Every girl on board who saw it wanted one! Plus I like them better than my regular brushes & have used them exclusively since.
This is on my birthday wishlist, the brushes look so soft!

I wish brush sets would omit spoolies. Why are these always there? They seem like a waste! The best part of this set is the case. Super convenient for travel and protective to boot. Brushes are an investment and need to be properly stored and shuttled around. I'm ashamed to say I don't have a nice case for mine... yet.
I'm looking for some cheap brushes right now, and although these are not that cheap they look like they're good quality. I will probably not order any of these because I already have a huge list of brushes I'm planning to get... But who knows, maybe I'll try them out one day :)
