OLE HENRIKSEN TRUTH SERUM COLLAGEN BOOSTER!!!
I'm 24. I'm 110 pounds. I'm not wearing a control top/padded bra/fake nails. I've had no work done. They're real. No, it's not you, it's me. I've never inhaled. I had one drink...I was hesitant to apply this serum. The truth doesn't hurt..It stings like a mofo!! Thank the Gods that I applied the serum and all of the above is still ALL TRUE! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!
Meg's make-up is completely unbiased. I just want to drill that into your brains again. Our tester's really were great fans of the previously reviewed Ole Henriksen product. This serum is supposed to be worn in conjunction with the last Ole product we reviewed. Was the last product a fluke or does Ole consistantly deliver? That's what we are asking now. Do you have to buy both products for this serum to be effective? Does it work as a collagen booster on its own right? hey ya'll i friend of mine, you know the ones you want to hate but can't, has great skin. teeny tiny pores i thought only came on the olsen twins. she is an ole devotee and has been swearing by their facials for years. my skin (oily with slight dry combo) has always responded well to any product with vit c in it- so i gave it a go. at first it made me breakout- but that's because in my eagerness to have glowy skin like a cabbage patch doll, i applied way too much. repeat after me- when the bottle says 'dime amount', they mean it. after correcting, my skin awoke noticeably squeaky clean looking w/ only the very occasional post-morning tiny whitehead. oiler skin types should avoid the t-zone. xo
This is a great product. I do not have many fine lines yet so I feel like this enhanced my skin. It gives a smooth finish and has a sweet smell to it as well.
I was skeptical the first time I put this on my face. It appeared thick and oily. I have to say I was shocked that in just a few minutes my skin seemed to drink the stuff! I'm a total skin addict and this is my new favorite product! I put it on every night under my moisturizer and my skin is looking really healthy without any makeup. That is my ultimate test: the no make up test. I actually notice
have very sensitive skin and was a little nervous to try this out. But boy am I glad I did! After the inital blemishes disapeared I was pleased with the way my skin looked and felt. A little goes a long way. I also like the way the top twists to lock as I'm traveling and now I can pack it without worrying it will be all over my bag when I unpack.
The TRUTH is that Ole's collagen booster is WONDERFUL. ( I am quickly becoming a huge Ole fan.) I have great skin to begin with and not a lot of lines or wrinkles but have been getting lots of complements on my skin since I've been using Ole's renewing creme and now the truth serum underneath. My face literally "drinks it up" and I am left with a perfect pallette for the renewing creme, and my skin looks so good that I really don't even need much makeup over it. The orangy aroma is incredible, and it has filled in the few lines that I do have, especially around my lips. Bottom line... I'm really hooked. :-)
Another hooray for Ole! Honestly, I didn't know what to expect with this product. The citrus cent is light and refreshing. The serum absorbs into your skin quickly, so you can move onto other steps in your skin care or put makeup on immediately after -- a huge plus in my book. But the real testament? I was at a meeting the other day and a MALE colleague told me how healthy my skin looked! If that's any indication that it's working, then I'm sold!
I'm one of those lucky people with skin that can be dry and is sensitive to alot of products, yet it is also prone to break-outs. I was hesitant about this product. I was worried it was too heavy for me or that the smell would be overwhelming.Happily, I had no need to worry! The fresh, citrus scent is really soft and the serum completley blended into my skin without any residue. My skin felt a little oily at first but no new pimples. After a few days my skin is beginning to look brighter and I swear my "happy eye lines" have faded a little bit. I'm looking forward to trying more of this line!
The first night after I used the Truth Serum I woke up to really oily skin. I'm not sure what was going on, I think with that extreme burst of health my skin just kind of freaked out. But by the next morning, it was back to normal. The next morning a little better than normal and so on. And now, a week later-I look downright glowing! It smells great, a tiny bit goes a long way and anything that has someone commenting on my "amazing skin", I'm in! FYI, I did not use this in conjunction with their moisturizer.
It feels like I've lost a few years after I put it on. I have very dry skin and it absorbs instantly, you see the difference immediately. It has a great scent and it doesn't feel like all those other creams you have to use for weeks to get the same results. If their other products compare to this then I am forever an Ole Henricksen fan.
I really don't know what this product is supposed to do... What I DO know is that it smells Ah-MAZINK!!!! My hubby- for the first time ever- told me that my "lotion" smelled good (he usually gags and tells me to "stop using that ****!) I have never been able to use any kind of "moisturizer" without my face breaking out, and this serum keeps my skin uber-hydrated sans breakouts; it absorbs extremely well and doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin- what's not to like?
Another ‘truth’ serum. Honestly, I know what the truth is...I’m getting older which means wrinkles!I wasn’t fond of the citrus smell. I like the lightness of the serum. It’s not heavy or sticky when applying it. After the serum sinks in (about 5 minutes) my skin is smooth when I touch it. After I was my face in the evening I put on the Truth Serum, no moisturize added. I wake up in the morning with glowing skin. I love the way my skin feels in the morning. It’s not dry or tight.I use this product in the morning, under my moisturizer, lotion, SPF, and foundation. I have no problems mixing all the different products together. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a little more protection for their skin.PS - This is the only Ole product used in my makeup routine.
I bought this serum as part of the 3 piece set. Thought for about 23 dollars apiece, this made it a good deal. I really like the serum, goes on smooth, is not tacky, smells absolutely yummy. Makes my skin feel soft and smooth. Putting the sheer transformation cream on top makes my skin look and feel even better than the serum alone. The Night gel is good too, but you need another cream on top of it. Love the all natural vibe of the whole line.
I have loved every one of the Ole Henriksen products that I have tried, and this one is no exception.
Ole products are another wish list item that is too expensive for me to afford at the moment. I love serums and would probably hoard as many as possible if I could afford it! Anything that can make my skin look smoother and softer is a bonus!
I've never tried Ole products. They're on my very long "to try" list.

I wish products like this produced miracles. I've never been incredibly impressed with a high end skin care product yet.
Truth serum reminds me of Harry Potter /nerdmoment. I personally don't buy into all these collagen booster products, but then again I dont need them yet at my age =/ I'm hoping when I start needing these kinds of products the industry will have come leaps and bounds and produce things that definitely work - especially if it comes with a high price tag!

I'm not really that into all these serums, it's as if I'm expected to apply a dozen serums and gels before bed .. umm, yeah, that's not going to happen.

It is true, prices on Henriksen products are quite high and an option to test it before buying was a must for me. So, lucky me, I came across this store with the whole range of Ole Henriksen products. After trying few things I've decided that truth Serum Collagen Booster would be my pick. I am in my 30s and started to use face care products with vitamin C in them. It helps brighten and smooth your skin. And Ole Henriksen truth serum gave amazing results! I just added it to my day/night beauty routine. Definitely a must have. Also, it comes in a pump bottle. Two pumps are usually enough for the whole face and neck,so the product lasts for quite some time.
ive been noticeing my skin isnt as plump.. my pores are showing more too. arg, aging!!! i think i need some collagen serum!
